under staffed could use more people on the job

I found the SAME wood flooring for 1/3 less money at lumber liquidators. $2,000 less. I was told tgat only EMPIRE OFFERED THAT product. Not true. On a positive note, we use them first for our Carpeting and are very please.

The service was lovely. I was anxious regarding the cost because the sub floor needed repair. The bathroom was 5 x 8 feet. They took out the old floor, replaced the subfloor, put in new vinyl, put the toilet back down and put the new vanity in. It looks like a new room. We still have to paint but I am tremendously pleased. I think it was a good value for the money. I am a divorced woman with a special needs offspring. They did not take advantage of my inexperience. Yay!!

Good quality carpet at a good price. Installed quickly. They worked through some unexpected challenges without difficulty. Could be cleanlier in handling newly painted door, but overall I am satisfied with the work

The second crew that was subcontracted was great however the customer service received from empire directly was not good therefore I had to rate the overall experience and that came in at a 2

I had a salesman come to my home and provide an estimate. The price was very good so I signed a contract and paid the deposit. The project was set to take place in stages as it required different flooring in different areas. On day one, after spending hours preparing the house for their arrival, they called and rescheduled us because another job ran longer than expected. On the rescheduled day, the installer had vehicle issues enroute and could not make it. On the second reschedule, after being told that the first part was going to be an all day job, when the installer had not shown up by 11am we called and cancelled the contract. Although this was an epic fail, the customer service representatives were always kind and apologetic and we subsequently received a call from corporate offering us a deal if we would give them another chance. I just couldn't. It was too much of an inconvenience for the deal being offered. I am sure that the product is decent and that work completed is likely good, but it's of no value to me if I have to jump through hoops to get it done.

Empire was out giving me an estimate the same day and within 24 hours they had the carpet installed. I would recommend them to everyone.

Love the product. We got the laminate wood look for our basement floor, it will recover nicely if it gets flooded. The price Was higher than expected, and I think we could have gotten a better price if I had the time to shop. Due to health reasons we Just went with them. Also it makes crackling noise when you walk in some areas.

I has carpet installed in two bedrooms. It took 8 hours for the job to be completed.

They completed their work on time, were pleasant to have in my home. The floors look wonderful.

Great experience

I had a terrible experience, the installers came in and ripped by old laminate flooring up and part of my daughters bedroom carpet. They chipped at the tile under her flooring and said it may be asbestos. Needless to say almost a month later I received my flooring. Only good thing is the customer service was good.

I would be careful that the estimate includes everything that needs to be done. In addition, keep an eye on the workers and they banged up walls and registers on the floor.
