The 3rd party contractors that they hire are top-notch. The initial consultant was very professional and knowledgeable of the product selection, and the installation crew was fantastic and very detail-oriented. In general, I wish that flooring pricing was fixed. Instead, the quotes start high and you negotiate it down by providing competitive quotes and/or asking for every discount they offer, similar to buying a car.

They did not leave a sample. Then, when they came to install, they wanted us to verify that the material was what we wanted. Like fools we marked 'yes' on their sheet. We do not think we got the material we wanted. Next time they did the same for a carpet installation. This time we had a large piece of carpet which we showed to the salesman. As we suspected the carpet they brought for installation did not match; it was of much lower weight, I rejected. The customer service did not give a hoot. They obviously know about the practice. This is a very dishonest practice. We will not give them any more business.

My salesman, Manuel, was awesome! He did a great job selling on their product (laminate flooring) and why it was probably better than the other people who provided me quotes. The initial quote was pretty expensive, but because I had some quotes available he was able to call his manager and lower the cost. I was also in a predicament with my HOA and had an undetermined install date. Manuel was very understanding and able to lock in my rate. Once I was able to schedule the installation it was super easy. I even had to change the date and it was pretty easy in getting that done. To be honest, after I scheduled the installation, I ran into their Yelp page and saw some pretty nerve racking reviews, so I become very hesitant, but the reviews were mostly about carpeting, so I continued forward. When Max and his crew showed up they verified the product and i saw that they had the wrong padding, so i showed him the picture of it and said it was no problem and got the correct one quickly. Him and his crew got straight to work. I saw they put down some leveling cement first and I knew I had the right team. They spent a lot of attention to detail and showed me where the previous installer cut corners because it was not in visible places (not installing the laminate correctly, no baseboards, etc.), and they made sure it was done right and paid great attention to detail. My home looks so much better now. I can't wait to save up and get the rest of my house done.

The second installer was very good and fast

They did a good job laying the flooring but left foot prints and dirty hand prints on our freshly painted walls. They used a saw inside the house and spread saw dust through the the house on the counters, cabinets, appliances, window blinds and freshly painted walls. They had no respect for the homeowner's property.

Took advantage of the Labor Day sale. Great service and were able to start immediately! The technicians were great, friendly, and quick, and did every step without fudging. Beautiful work!!

They arrived on time and did a great job installing carpet in 2 rooms. I'll use them again for my wood flooring.

It was a small job, putting new tile in a bathroom, and the workers were great. They did an excellent job and left everything very clean when they were through. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

I was very pleased with them. They showed up on time everyday. They took their time to make sure everything was done right. They would always tell us how they were progressing. The contractors for the hardwood floors were at the house the second night till 9:00 p.m., but they did get done. The carpenter was great, very efficient.

The Empire crew did a wonderful job. They were very efficient and communicated with me through the entire process. I would highly recommend them for any flooring job.

The crew was great! They installed laminate and carpeting were very professional. The work quality is excellent and the time it took was about 6 hours. I was expecting it to take 2 days! I would hire them again in an instant.

The installers were on time and professional. I had three small areas completed (ceramics). The kitchen is next! No complaints.

They had to come out twice because of pricing. Why not offer discounts in the beginning. You know we as customers are going to shop around.
