I kept offering certain times and they would inevitably respond with appointments that were completely different. They never tried to work with me. They were completely indifferent. I cancelled the work and never got a refund.

Jan charged half of what we paid our previous dryer vent service provider, and delivered twice the quality. He did an excellent job cleaning our dryer vent, offering tips for preventing future problems, and even fixed an issue caused by the previous technician who worked on our dryer. Jan Wildman really knows his stuff. I've lived in a house built in 1955 for the past 15 years. This is the first time I've had the dryer vent cleaned. Jan knew quickly that the dryer vent setup wasn't up to code standards. Problem? No. He worked with the less than perfect setup. I'm sure it took him longer than anticipated (almost 3 hours) but he stayed at it. He is very conscientious. He replaced parts where needed (cost only) and when he detected a leak in the flow, he repaired it (no extra cost). Then, he spent 20 minutes showing me both by words and demonstration what I could buy and where to buy it to bring the whole thing up to code. It was obvious to me why his company has garnered to many A reports. I'm happy to add mine to that ever growing pile of kudos.

I have a stackable dryer/washer in a ranch... the dryer vent goes through the attic and then out the side of the house. I always wanted to clean it out myself but never found the time. Called the service and the gentleman was very friendly. He told me why I was having scorching the dryer, and explained why the dryer lint screen gets a build up of wax.. so sometimes you need to wash it completely in order to remove the wax buildup. Kinda simple when you think about it - but I wasn't aware. He did a great job... getting the lint from inside the Dryer as well as all the lint from the vent in the attic. For only 80 bucks!! Highly recommend.

Courteous and professional. He offered a lot of advice while he cleaned the vents and inside the dryer. There was a lot of hair and dust on the inside of the dryer, I?m glad he could vacuum it all out. Seems like something that I?ll have done every couple of years. He also discovered that the front panel was not put on properly by the last guy to work on it, so he fixed it.

Jan immediately contacted me via email through Angie's List and we set a date. He was on time and set to work until the job was done. He was very pleasant and helpful about some other issues he happened to notice in the house. In all, a very pleasant and hassle-free experience.

Mr. Wildman came at the time promised, got to work immediately, kept me informed about what was found and how it was to be fixed. While working in the crawlspace he noticed a tiny leak in a waste pipe coming from a slightly loose joint. He tightened it for me. After he was done he went over the work with me and ran the dryer to demonstrate the increased flow to the outside. The vent had not been attended to for a long time and lint was escaping into the crawl space. I was pleased with his promptness, professionalism, and thoroughness. He was well worth the cost.

I had the dryer vent cleaned out a few years ago and the same service provider wanted $250. I found Wildman Dryer Vent Pro on Angies list and the reviews were good. I contacted Jan Widman with some questions, regarding his rate of $100. I wanted to make sure it wasn't too good to be true. Through all my contacts and questions with Jan via Angie's List, he was very timely with his responses. I decided to schedule the appointment. Jan came out and did the job exactly how he quoted it. Took him about 90 minutes which is what I had expected. He completed the following services, cleaned the dryer, vent, vacuumed the extra lint behind the dryer and washer, shortened the transition duct behind the dryer, leading to the vent, and secured it with a band clamp (rather than the duct tape). Jan was professional, courteous and clean. Would use him again and have already recommended him to friends and neighbors.

Jan was very professional and it was quite obvious that he knows his stuff really well. He was able to give me quite a few tips on keeping dryer area and vents clean, functioning well and safe.

Jan was incredible; Very nice and professional and super knowledgeable. He came to our place to clean our dryer vent as our dryer had not been drying clothes as well as it had previously. He took a look and noticed our dryer exhaust hose was way too long for our set up and it was folded multiple times causing a loss of heat for the dryer. He shorten the hose and reconnected everything at no additional charge. He also gave some great advice to a newer home owner about how often we should get our other appliances maintained. He performed the dryer vent cleaning as well and I have to report our dryer is now drying clothes much quicker than it had previously. Couldn't thank Jan enough and will no doubt recommend him and hire him again in the future.
