Wildman Dryer Vent Pro

Everything went very well. He did a lot more work than the "Angie's List Big Deal" covered. He did not charge me any more.than the big deal. Plus, he gave me lots of little tips on how to take care of my new wash/dryer that was being delivered in the future. Plus, he gave me tips on how to care for my AC that was covered with cotton ball things that evidently is called "white gold" to the HVAC industry. I highly recommend Mr Jan Wildman to everyone!

He was so personable we had a chuckle over his name and I kidded him that I was a little nervous. Very friendly and informative guy. The kind of professionalism you can easily respect. Would call him again in a heartbeat.

Jan returned my call the same day and set up an appointment for the following week. He was prompt, professional and I feel he did a very complete job cleaning my vent and dryer. I would not hesitate to refer him to someone or to use him again in the future.

This service was impressive. He contacted us promptly and it was easy to set up the appointment. He arrived a little early and thanked us for letting him start early. We were impressed with how thorough Jan was in his work. As noted above, he cleaned from the outdoor vent and inside. I got a little nervous when he took the front off the dryer to clean lint (it's under a service agreement with the manufacturer) but I relaxed as I saw how carefully he did it (keeping track of every screw for example) and as he cleaned the inside fan/like area. He even noted that there was a screw missing, presumably from a previous service (and I do have a vague memory of a dryer technician finishing up with a screw left over), so Jan found another screw in his truck so the dryer was put back together better than he found it - for no extra charge. He also noted that our exterior dryer vent was missing a flap (that stops cold air from coming in) and he also fixed that, at no extra charge. This was a great service, and we will definitely purchase service from Wildman Dryer Vent Pro again.

Jan was really great! He was very thorough, provided me with some tips to keep the quality and longevity of my dryer. He was in my home approximately 1.5 hours and provided a great service.

Jan was wonderful! He was very punctual and professional. He explained details regarding my washer and dryer to help extend the life of them and make them more productive. He replaced a broken vent cover and even identified and fixed a problem in the back of the dryer that was causing lint to spill out all over the back of the dryer and floor. He was extremely thorough with his cleaning. I would not hesitate to recommend Jan to other friends and I will be using him again!

Jan did a great job cleaning our dryer. More importantly he noticed a gas leak in our water heater which prompted us to call the gas company! He was very knowledgeable.

Jan was knowledgeable and professional. He knows his stuff and is thorough. He vacuums out the dryer vent (doesn't use a leaf blower like some other servicers), and completely disassembles the dryer for a deep cleaning. I would recommend him without reservation if you want the job done right.

Jan was right on time and very thoroughly cleaned our vent. We hadn't ever had our dryer vent cleaned before in the ten years we have lived here, and we are a family of four, so you can imagine what a big job it was. But Jan honored the coupon we bought on Angie's List for $179 worth of service (for only $129!) and even wrote extensive notes about what to do in the future as well as observations on how the washer/dryer needed a few minor repairs. We will definitely be calling him for future service and recommending him to friends and family.

Jan Wildman arrived on time for his appointment. We had purchased a voucher from Angie's List. He explained the process and got his equipment. He did a very thorough job of cleaning the dryer vent tube and the outside vent. He also removed several panels from the dryer and cleaned the interior. He noticed there was a tear in the dryer's vent screen. He looked up the part number and told me I could order a replacement from Amazon.com for about $14, which I did.

This is the first time we had our dryer vent cleaned. We are in our house 19 years and had it built. Jan turned the dryer on and went outside to check the vent. He put his arm in the vent and said it was never connected to the outside. He went into the crawlspace and took pictures of all the lint that was in the crawlspace at the furthest end of the basement. The builder never finished connecting the dryer vent to the ouside of the house. Thank God for Jan!!! He cleaned all the lint and properly connected the vent. Then he moved the dryer and cleaned behind it and took apart the front of the dryer and also cleaned it. He did a wonderful job! I would recommend him to anyone! Very nice and professional and also very reasonable.

I will have Jan back again. I had my dryer cleaned once before and didn't really think the person did anything. Jan did a great job and was very thorough.

Jan came to my home on time and immediately went to work. He was extremely thorough in his work and very detail oriented. He took the time to give me very useful tips for maintenance. A vent was replaced for $30, Jan showed me the old one which clearly needed replacing. As an appliance that is well known for causing fires, I want a professional who takes his time with the cleaning, spots concerns and gives valuable advise on proper maintenance, all these items were checked off with Wildman Dryer Vent Pro. All went extremely well. Jan arrived right on time, located our dryer vent, and went right to work. He had to maneuver in very cramped quarters--our machine is in a closet--but cleaned everything out and gave the surrounding area a quick vacuum as well! We would hire him again in a heart-beat!
