They get an "A" all the way down the line. It took them four hours.

The carpeting was extremely dirty from years of use and having it cleaned many times by a well known national carpet company. We would have it cleaned and the dirt spots would come back in a short time. Unique came out and gave me an estimate. I was told that the reason the spots came back was because all the dirty moisture was not removed from the previous cleanings. The supervisor on the job told me to call if I saw any spots that they missed. I did call them and they came right out to fix the problem. My carpeting hasn't looked this good in years!

Wonderful! Crew was on-time (actually early), friendly, quick and responsive. carpets look great! They scheduled an appointment that worked for my business with no disruption to the work flow. I wouldn't use anyone else!

Fabulous! They are so professional and respectful of the needs of our organization. We asked them to accommodate the cleaning in two separate days since one space is used for meetings every weekend and we just couldn't get a day when they could do it in one shot. They arrived right on time, had me walk them through the building so they knew what I wanted done. They did not stop for a break the entire time they were here (5 hours). They will be back tomorrow to finish the job since I requested a Saturday for the General Offices. We used them two years ago and they are just as great as they were then. Larry even came by to check to be sure we were happy. Great Customer service!

I had been doing business with this company for over 8 years. They have always been prompt in getting back to me, but this time it took them five days to get back to me. I first called them on a Monday to schedule a carpet cleaning. Apparently their answering service was taking calls that day which I didn't know when answered the phone. In a nice tone, i asked who I was speaking to and they answered Unique. I again asked who I was speaking to and they said the same thing. I asked a third time and got the same cold answer. In none of these cases did they identify themselves as the answering service. I hung up the phone and left a email message on their company website. They must never look at this website because I never heard back from them. I called again on Wednesday and figured out it was the answering service again. I asked for someone to call me to schedule a cleaning. I got a call back late on Friday afternoon and it went to my voice mail. I was a little put off by this so on Thursday I contacted another highly rated carpet and upholstery cleaner in Lake County. I got an immediate response from this company as well as answers to several questions via email the same day. His reviews looked excellent and the prices seemed more reasonable to I went him. Had Unique done this work, it would have cost me $200 more. UPDATE: Larry Rosenthal called me to inquire about the rating that I gave the company. I was very nice and concerned that one of his long time customers would be this upset with the service. We had a nice conversation and I told him that I would consider using them again sometime in the future. He gained a great deal of credence by calling me and giving me his personal cell phone. I was told that he would be reviewing his answering service protocol and also some internal procedures. I was impressed that he asked me for some suggestions about how things could be changed for the better. I gave him those recommendations and he was very grateful. I have since change my rating from a "D" to a "C" based on his outreach to me.

I've used Unique for many years, with great results. By far, they are the best carpet/upholstery/floor cleaners I've ever used. Period. In January, our pipes burst and I realized they could help me address our soaked rugs. They promptly responded and were a godsend. We had a great deal of damage, but Unique was truly instrumental in helping us get our situation under control and getting the ruined carpets out of the house. These people are extremely professional, honest, and knowledgeable. No one better!

An estimate was given to us over the phone, and a printed copy sent for followup. Also included were a sheet of instructions on how to prepare for the cleaning (removing breakable items, pinning up long drapes, etc) which was helpful. Although not required, my husband and I removed almost all the furniture from the carpet, leaving just a couple heavy items. Two techs arrived with a few minutes of the appointed time, set up their system (which had flexible hoses leading back to their truck) and finished the job in 1 1/2 hours. We were charged the lowest amount on their variable estimate--probably because we saved them time by moving the furniture. We were left with instructions, footies to cover our shoes when walking on the carpet for the following few hours, and a bottle of spot cleaner that they recommended for cleaning pet stains in the future. They were professional and did a good job. The carpet still looks good after several weeks.

Edgar and Alfonso arrived promptly and worked quickly,efficiently and were very polite. When done Edgar answered my questions and I learned a lot. The carpets look wonderful, all old puppy stains are gone.

The team arrived promptly and explained the process they use thoroughly, very efficient, and the carpet/chair look like new, very professional and courteous.

Edgar and Alfanso arrived right on time, surveyed the job and got started immediately. They first vacuumed all areas and tied up the drapes. They each worked in different areas through most of the process, As usual, they throughly cleaned one area at a time before moving to the next. High traffic areas were given more attention and all stairs were done by hand. The job took 1 hr. 45 min. and we did a walk-through after the work was completed. They asked if I had any questions or concerns before they left. As usual they did a great job and I am completely satisfied with the work. We have been using Unique for over 5 years.

The 2 technicians were on time and very thorough. Completed task in 2 hours. An excellent job! Have used Unique Upholstery for several years and have always been satisfied.
