He explained everything in detail and he was very thorough. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were very professional.

I was so pleased. First, someone actually answered the phone when I called. They came when they promised; they sent a capable knowledgeable plumber who did a lovely professional job. He explained everything he was going to do and why and gave me a written estimate before he started and then, he cleaned up when he was finished.

The plumber was very courteous and neat. He was wearing those plastic booties that surgeons wear, and the estimates reminded me of surgeon's fees, too! Unclogging the tub drain was estimated at $195.00 and unclogging the bathroom sink drain at $170.00. At these rates I decided to just take care of the leaking pipe immediately, which came to $185.00. He said it was probably a gasket, and I had no idea changing a gasket would cost so much.

They told me they would be here today between 8-10 a.m. I called them at 10:30 and asked where they were and they said they would be here by 11. I called again at 11 and they said they would be here in 15 minutes. I called them again at 11:30 and canceled b/c they still were not here. They called me They called me at 10:15 and told me they would be here by 11 a.m. These are the people I intentionally researched to be near my house and there excuse for being late was they were doing a job up north and there were traffic problems.

The workers who came to my house were either incompetent or dishonest. Neither toilet was cracked, therefore the "inspection" that revealed the cracks was either a fabrication or grossly incompetent. Upon a friend's advice I fixed the problem myself for $3 ($1.50 per toilet). The problem was simply dried out gaskets connecting the toilet tank to the toilet bowl. The toilets were not in use for 30 days, and the old gaskets dried out and leaked when used after 30 days. The plumbers from Reliance Plumbing assured me both toilets needed to be replaced. Obviously this was false, so either they were idiots and bad plumbers and it didn't occur to them that it could be the gaskets, or they just wanted to make more money by doing a full replacement.

Previous plumber told me my window well drains were collapsed and they needed to be replaced; about $2500.00. Reliance came in with a camera and looked, and they were just clogged. They went ahead and quickly rodded them, and did it so quickly that they were able to do both for the price of one. They also looked at my sump pump and showed me how to drain it manually.

It was so quick and convenient. They gave me a 2 hour window, then called me about a 1/2 hour of their arrival. Very nice people to deal with and I'll call them in the future if we have another problem.

My experience was excellent from the scheduling of my appointment to the completion of all the projects that I needed done.

Fantastic, really nice and the price ended up being cheaper and he even told me about a coupon that I could use. I got a same day appointment the worked with my schedule and came that night.

I called on a Friday and Mark was there the next morning to assess the work to be done. Since the thermostatic valve calibration was a specialized task, he recommended that the supervisor, Andre, do the work because he was more familiar with that type of valve. Andre came Tuesday morning and all of the work except the sump pump was done before noon that day. For the sump pump they provided quotes for several options and they will come back to do that work when we decide which we want.

I have finally found a plumber that has met every one of my criteria for excellence! These guys are great. I actually had them out three times in two weeks (Had gotten their name from the list; ask for the discount). The first time was for a leaky sink. Work was great; Phone call answered, call returned and work was scheduled for that day. They sent Andre who (after putting on the paper booties; Thanks!) diagnosed the problem and promptly fixed it. He only charged me the cost of a basic service call; $45! A few days later, the toilet acted up. Andre returned (Nice to see the same person) and we discussed it and agreed that putting in a new Toto toilet might be best. He did not even charge me for this call. Just said to call back when the new toilet was ready to be installed. Five days later, he picked up the new toilet, (Andre again) and had it in in a flash. Took the old one away, all for $233; less than I had paid a messy handyman to do the same work. I really like these guys!

It went very well. The inspection was uneventful and passed with flying colors.

He arrived on time and completed the job in around 20 minutes. They not only helped us with our problem, but they took the time to educate us as well. We will definitely use them again and will recommend them to all our friends.

Work performed well. Very nice plumber. Cleaned up & did a good job. A bit overpriced for the service performed.

He was prompt, courteous and clean. He wore booties over his boots, which was nice since it was pouring rain outside. He asked for a towel to mop up drips. A previous plumber had bent one of the copper pipes leading to the sink. Reliance plumber warned me that this might need to be replaced, but then was able to use the existing piece. He told me that they would need to be replaced the next time the plumbing is changed. I was quoted a flat rate of $125, but I had a coupon from the phone book for $30 off. I was told that I could not combine this with the Angie's List discount. I was not surprised or disappointed, but thought I'd asked--this is a reasonable policy.

We needed to replace a 15 year old water heater, which required the washer and dryer to be moved out of the way. Since our laundry tub was 50 years old, we had them remove it and put in a new one. It was a messy job dealing with 50 year old plumbing and removing the heavy sink in addition to taking out the washer and dryer and then putting them back after installing the water heater. It took most of a day to accomplish. One of the new copper pipes had a leak (which appeared after they left), so Reliance sent a repair person out the next day (Saturday) to re-solder it. The price was in line with other estimates we received.

Walter and Frank came within the scheduled time window, worked efficiently and professionally. Explained the work needed. Digging several feet down in front of the house to access the pipe was strenuous, hard work, as was lugging the heavy power rodding unit down a steep, narrow stairway. They warranty their service, but I hope we won't need to have this work done again. If a major plumbing problem should arise, we'd call them again. Also, we appreciated the company calling to let us know approximately how soon they would be coming.

Haven't had any backup problems since. They came the same day, despite it not being an emergency and they were right on time. He did pressure me to have them do the job that day instead of simply giving me an estimate. The backup problem didn't appear to be an emergency, but he said it would keep backing up whenever I used the water, which I had for a day without a problem. I let him do the job that day, but I'm still skeptical it was truly an emergency. Also on the negative side, I'm still waiting a week later for the estimate on the other work.

It went very well! The crew showed up on time. They went to extra effort to locate the clean out where I requested it. They finished early. They filled the hole and compacted the dirt so that I didn't have a huge mound. The work was done on a proposal basis so I knew what it would cost. They were not the cheapest but the most responsive and of all the bids I received, were the only ones to promise to tamp the dirt back down.

They came out the same day that I called, and it was right in the middle of the cold snap.

Late on a Saturday night we noticed that sewage was backing up into the basement. Sunday a.m. I called and got hold of the owner, Alex. He explained that there would be an extra charge of $125 for coming out on a Sunday, and said he could have someone there within 90 minutes. About an hour later, Walter arrived. He rodded out the sewer line, cleared the obstruction and the problem was solved. He was very friendly, professional, thorough, and informative. Definitely a good experience.

They arrived on time and got the work done quickly. They were very responsive, and kept everything clean (and dry). The shower works GREAT! They also checked a few other things and told me what to watch for and where not to waste my money.

The workmen they sent out were helpful, reliable, and most of all, honest. I know they spent more time working on our place than we were billed.
