They did a good a job. They were very clean, but they were too pricey.

He repaired the the tub. He installed a basic Gerber toilet in the master bath. All work was completed the same day.

Our old faucet was about 15-20 years old and rather difficult to remove, so this was about a 1 1/2 to 2 hour job. Other plumbers charge by the hour; Reliance had a flat fee of $275 plus parts, which was reduced with the Angie discount.

The worker did a great job! He was in and out in about an hour. The location of our water heater can make working on it a bit of a challenge, but he was able to come in and get the part replace quickly.

We bought a new house that had been in foreclosure and had previous water damage/flooding issues in the basement. Prior to moving in, we wanted to ensure that issues would not continue by properly waterproofing the basement. We found Reliance on Angie's List. We were skeptical to use them because we did not know anything about them and they were not one of the companies that we received a recommendation for basement waterproofing. The companies that were recommended to us were booked for two months and we did not want to wait that long. We contacted Reliance and they were able to send someone out to give us a quote that same day. Andre was the supervisor who was sent. He was on time and very professional. I explained to him that we were having water seapage issues and asked him to tell us what we need to do. He told me what he thought was needed and the general cost. He also waited around for my husband to arrive to re-explain everything, which was appreciated. He sent us a quote the next day. It was very competitive to what we had received from other companies. The big difference is that Reliance was able to start within a week versus us waiting months. We scheduled the job and work started as planned. Their crew was on time, efficient, and always cleaned up the workspace each day. We were very happy with their work. Andre kept us apprised on their progress over the course of the work. Given that we knew the basement had flooded at some point in the past, Andre looked at our hot water tank (which was not turned on) and saw rust in the base of it. He said it was recommended to replace them if they had gotten water damage. We were skeptical that this was necessary, but I looked at the manufacturer's website and confirmed this to be the case. So, we had Reliance give us an estimate and perform this work as well. We also had Reliance perform various general plumbing tasks thoughout our house - all of which were done only as what was necessary. Overall, we felt that we could trust their opinion of what work needed to be done without trying to sell us something we didn't need. We highly recommend them and will use them for any plumbing services we need in the future.

I have been very pleased with Reliance. This is the 3rd job they have done for me over the last year. They previously replaced all of my galvanized water lines with copper and replaced a malfunctioning flood control valve on the sewer line. They are always easy to work with, punctual and professional. I called Alex for a quote on Wednesday morning and he was able to schedule the work within 24 hrs. The plumbers arrived on time and did a very neat and professional job. They even rodded the drain for me at no extra charge. They always come in right on estimate with no "extra" hidden charges unlike some other plumbers I have used. I will not hesitate to use them in the future.

I called Reliance on a Friday afternoon. They offered to send someone out within the hour, but I wasn't home at the time so we scheduled them to come at 10:00 am the next day (Saturday). The owner, Alex, showed up right on time and quickly diagnosed the problems I had and presented several options for a back-up sump pump. Two people showed up Monday morning and did the agreed-upon work. They were very careful to put on protective booties over their shoes everytime they came in the house so as not to track in dirt, and they cleaned up when they were done. The crew was very friendly and professional, and the work was done well.

Everything went very smooth from start to finish. The salesman arrived on time and gave us an estimate. Their estimate was less than the other ones we obtained and included more work. When I called to schedule the job, they were ready to start right away. The workmen arrived on time and were very nice and courteous. The job was completed in one day. They cleaned up everything in the front yard, we can hardly tell they had to dig a 6ft hole.

I called to see what could be done about a repeating sewer backup problem. They initially installed a stand pipe which has worked to date and was inexpensive. I also paid $700 for them to power wash the sewer line and video the line. They gave me an $8000.00 estimate to fix a "pipe break" at the main sewer line which they said was causing the problem. I got another company to come give me a second opinion. They said the problem was else where and would charge $3500. When I called Reliance to explain the inconsistency, they agreed that their original diagnosis was incorrect. However, they shrugged off that error by saying that "we would have caught it before we started digging." Then they said that there as a 3rd issue causing my backup. A big mess in more ways than one!!

It was okay. He was doing his job and I appreciate that, but at the end of the day it was unnecessary work. I got somebody else to fix the problem.

Reliance was the second company I called, in a panic-sewage had spurted up into our basement, the day before we were throwing a big holiday party. I was expecting to pay big bucks for an emergency weekend repair and to wait a long time for someone to come out. The first company I called said it would be a 5 hour wait and cost $900. Reliance gave me a time frame between 11 and 1(Steve arrived just before 12:30-about 2 hours after I called)and said the plumber would do a free estimate, then perform the repair if I wanted him to. Steve immediately diagnosed the problem, gave an estimate of $350(before the Angie's List coupon discount)fixed it in less than an hour, and charged what he said he would. I was so relieved when he was finished-no more sewage in the basement, no big hassle, and especially, no big price tag. Steve was friendly, professional, and really patient-he answered all of our questions, even those not related to the repair. In fact, he contradicted plumbing advice given to us by our housing inspector, which wouldn't have been in his interest if he were just trying to get us to spend money.

Someone came out on 9-19-2008 and tried to rod out the drain. I was told that he went in 25 feet, as far as he could, and everything was clear. I then scheduled someone to come out on 9-26-2008 to camera inspect the drain for possible tree roots or breakage further down the line. At the time of the estimate, I was told the drain opening was too narrow to put the camera in the drain or to put in the equipment necessary to blow out any debris further in the drain system. I agreed to allow them to break up the drain, inspect and clean it out and replace the drain. On Saturday 9-27-2008, a worker came and busted out the drain. We soon noticed that he was replacing the old drain with a new one of the same size. The only difference was that he added a p-trap which I have subsequently been told by other plumbers is not needed on an outside drain. When we questioned the worker, he first tried to tell us that he did not speak English but later did manage to answer some questions when we asked where the crew was to blow out the drain. He said they were on another job and would be by soon. He, however, continued to put in the new drain over our objections. We could not call in as it was our Sabbath. As he finished installing the new drain, he told us, in fine English, that neither the camera nor the clean out equipment could come because the cement was wet! I received a voice mail that the camera would come on Monday. My husband and I called at 4:00pm because no one had shown up at the house. We were told someone would meet us at the house which they did. We were then told that they had to replace the drain because it had a trap in it. We checked that drain many times during the heavy rains and our arms fit down the drain, no trap existed. We also saw the drain when it was removed on 09-27, again no trap. The worker destroyed the old drain when we tried to question him. We were also able to rod it out with no issues as well as the person you sent out on 9-19, who made no mention of a trap. This was quite a different story than the one I got on 9-26 which was the drain opening was too small to make the turn with the equipment. He then tried to tell us that we had broken drain tile, but when we looked at the picture it revealed nothing but dirt and that the drain was saddled into an existing drain. It was quite amazing that the camera that could not fit down my old drain could fit down one of the same size and angle that you put in. After all this, we were told the drain could not be cleaned out because of the way it connected to the old drain tile system and how far down the line the dirt was. I was consistently lied to and taken advantage of. The work performed was unnecessary and did not fix the problem, yet I was charged almost the full fee. I was very disappointed with their services. After the rain this week, I can tell you they did not fix the problem.

They came when they were supposed to and did a fine job. They get the problem fixed and I haven't had any problems since then. Their response time was good from when I first called them. I was happy with their work.

Plumber came out, diagnosed situation, ordered part, came and installed immediately after it arrived.

The service person, Brad, was punctual. He explained what he would have to do and how much it would cost. It was a fixed amount per task, not an hourly charge. He did the work and gave us a 90 day warranty. Five hundred dollars is a lot of money, but I didn't shop around for this job because their price to install the clean out, for which I did receive three bids, was competitive and I needed the work done quickly. Plumbers are expensive!

I had called on a Wednesday and was given an appointment for a few days later, with a service person expected to arrive within a two hour window. I was told that Reliance typically sends someone to assess the situation (tools that would be needed, time and price estimates, etc.), and then returns to complete the job. A service person came 1 and 1/2 hrs into the promised time frame. He was polite (introduced himself, put on booties over his shoes), and looked over our current sink hardware, both the faucet on top and the pipes beneath. He then told me the company's price for an installation, and offered to perform the service right then and there. I agreed and watched him begin the work. It was a slightly messy job, so I provided rags, Windex, and waterproof garbage bag (all of which I was happy that I had around). It took about 90 minutes to install the new brass faucets and dispose of the old one. Bouba suggested that this was not an easy installation, due to the (high) quality of the new faucets. I didn't really understand why, but I am, admittedly, not well-versed in plumbing. I was allowed to test the faucet before Bouba cleaned up. Bouba was friendly, conversant, interesting (born in Africa), etc. However, I had a very slight concern about his integrity--just an odd feeling. That said, I cannot argue with his performance or the job he did.

Andre came out promptly to provide a quote. They were much cheaper than the other quote we received. They were able to start work within a few days. Estimated the job would take 2 days. Ended up taking 3+ a 4th day for the inspection. They were very neat and careful to cut small square holes in the walls and ceiling where necessary which made it easy to repair walls later. Cleaned up after the job and turned on water each night before leaving. Passed all inspections. Water pressure is great now!

They did a good job and were able to get the work done in a timely manner. They were reasonably priced. It was a very big job and of course you are going to run into some obstacles, but we got through it and I was pleased with their services.

Late on a Friday evening I called Reliance. They responded in about an hour and were able to diagnose the possible problems. I originally called to have them make an emergency call, but Yaser told me what to do so that I could wait until Saturday morning. This saved me the $125 after hours charge. Yasar came Saturday morning and was both professional and efficient. I would definitely call them again.

I called on a Thursday and they were able to send someone out that Saturday. They do not charge by the hour, they charge for parts and labor based on the job no matter how long it takes. Not sure if that was a better deal or not, but at least I wasn't looking at the clock the whole time and trying to make the guy work faster. I called another company and they gave me an estimate on parts and the cost for the time they thought it would take them to complete the job - it turned out to be about the same price. I didn't rate the quality of their work b/c I really don't know unless something goes wrong or it doesn't. The labor was a little more than initially quoted b/c he had to cut a PVC pipe.

It went well. The young man, Doug, who did the job seemed knowledgeable and thorough.

They were punctual and clean. However, I feel I was grossly overcharged for an inferior product. The date of service was on 11/06/2007, a Tuesday, so it was not a holiday or weekend emergency call. I would definitely not use again.

I bought a new filter and discovered that I couldn't find anyone willing to cut through the Corian counter. A representative from Reliance showed me that it called be installed in the existing sink if the faucet could be replaced freeing up a hole in the sink. The sink (our second sink in the kitchen is in a very tight location requiring a lot of extra work. Reliance gave me the best quite and did the work very thoroughly. We discovered the water filter was defective and the service man returned two days later (after I exchanged the filter) to finish the installation at no extra charge. Reliance has done work for me twice before. I was very satisfied all three times. They schedule quickly, have very good personnel and do their work carefully and thoroughly.

They were very good, prompt, and pleasant. We felt pretty good about the work they did. We would highly recommend them to anyone. We would definitely hire them again.

Extremely well. I was promised and received "same day" service. A plumber named Bradley arrived at the start of the time window I was given and, shortly before he arrived, the dispatcher called me to tell me he was on his way. Bradley was wonderful. He was very professional, efficient, neat and careful. I had leaks in both bathrooms, but from different causes. Bradley had to cut holes in the ceiling of the ground floor to find the leaks, but was careful to cause as little damage as possible. He diagnosed both problems quickly and advised solutions. As one bathroom is about to be remodeled, he talked to my contractor so the contractor now knows exactly what to do to fix the leak during the remodel. Bradley also fixed a small leak in a bathroom faucet and gave me advice on some issues I will have in the remodel. Great job!
