Got the showers running in less than an hour. Good job, polite, and wore paper shoe booties to avoid dragging dirt into the house. Overall, a very good experience and would highly recommend!

Do not recommend , find a better deal or do it yourself.

Was really pleased with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends of neighbors.

Setting the appointment was very professional and easy. The plumber was on time, pleasant, professional, and as far as I know gave me good advice. My complaint is with their fee structure. After purchasing the coupon for $49 I was to receive a$100 credit toward service. What it didn't say was that a five minute job of a small fix for a toilet would cost $149 because they charge by the job rather than by the hour. Very misleading!

It did not go well at all. He was late and did not want to work with me. He did not honor any of the pricing I was entitled too.

My shower drain would not let water go down. I tried myself to clear the problem and failed. Eric of Reliance Plumbing came out, told me the expected cost and cleared my problem. He was so good and efficient I had him clean out the bathtub drain in my 2nd bath while he was at my home. I wish I had just called Reliance from the start!

I called Reliance on Saturday morning around 10:00 AM. They offered to show up at my house in Glenview at noon. Keith looked at my problem for about 15 minutes. The problem was with the ejector pump in the basement. He said the full fledged solution could be thousands, but recommended a quick solution, implemented and left. No charge. We'll see if it works, but I could not beat the price or the cordial service.

Eric and Andre were professional, informative, and answered all my questions. Cindy in Customer Service was professional, responsive, and their follow-up and attention to detail was excellent!

The crew that was sent was professional, thorough, and cleaned up after they were done with the job. The crew made sure that the tub was solidly placed and level, hooked up a new brass drain and overflow, and raised the showerhead by soldering on an extension and new stub. I did need to ask to test the lines, so they provided caps on the stubs and confirmed that there were no leaks. Once all of the work was complete, they did a great job cleaning up and made sure I was satisfied with the work.

They came out and fixed the problem, they came when they said they would, and charged me the price they quoted. I call them when ever I have a plumbing problem and work is always done to my satisfaction.

We had Eric from Reliance come in and install a kitchen faucet kit that I had purchased at a local Big Box store and then found I did not have the tools or expertise to do it myself. Right off the bat, Eric found that the shut off valves beneath the sink were not operative. This was a problem because (as we soon learned..), we did not have a main water shutoff valve for the entire house anywhere inside. This valve is located beneath the manhole cover for our water meter, which is located in our front lawn at least 50 feet away from the house and at some distance down into the hole at that. I have no idea who designed this system like this and I don't think I want to know, I'm just glad they aren't a currently practicing paramedic, surgeon or airline pilot.. Anyway, with some Herculean effort, Eric was finally able to reach the main shutoff under the manhole cover. We shut the water off and bled the other faucets in the house so the work could proceed. Within an hour, Eric had the new faucet installed. This really bowled me over given I had spent 10 hours over the weekend under that sink and never even got a single lock nut loosened. At this point, given the non-functional condition of the shut-off valves under the sink and the complete lack of common sense, consideration of safety and damage control in the design of the water shut off system for the house, I had Erie go ahead and replace all three of the shut off valves beneath the sink. This roughly doubled the cost of the entire job (from $250 for the faucet replacement alone to approximately $500 including the replacement of the three shut-off valves) and was not money I really wanted to spend, but somebody has to demonstrate some clarity of thought. This someone was obviously not going to be either the previous owner of the house or the public works department of the city where we live, since one of them designed or mandated that the system be designed in the unsafe and inconvenient way that it was. So, I guess it has to be me. In any event, Eric arrived punctually at the house around 1:15PM and was done with all the work, including the unanticipated replacement of the shut off valves by about 3:45PM. He was friendly, cordial, knowledgeable, professional and is obviously very good at what he does. We are pleased with the quality of the work we had Reliance do for us and we were pleased with the professionalism and expertise of Eric, the Reliance plumber who did the work. We would unreservedly recommend Reliance to others in need of similar services and plan to use them again if and when we have additional plumbing work to be done.

showed minor buildup of gunk and some roots proposed a solution i could do myself. The operator was friendly and informative and maybe the price tag was a bit high but he did not try to sell me expensive extra services.

We are looking for replacement of our sewer line. Alex came in to give an estimate, and was very prompt, professional, and explained about perma-liner in great detail. We haven't made our decision yet to go with perma-liner, but Priority is one of our top choices.

He came out quickly. We did not use him because we had a better quote, but he was very prompt and cordial. I was able to get it done faster with someone else. It was not so much of the pricing, but it was the fact that someone was able to do it for a shorter amount of time like they were able to come out and do it where he has to wait. His price was fine.

Excellent. Initially we hired a plumber recommended to us by a neighbor. The guy was awful. My husband told me to call reliance. They responded to call set up appt. and came out immediately. Fixed everything the previous plumber did not. We will never use anyone else. They are just honest and efficient. That's what we want.

The work was fine and they did an okay job. They also dug up my lawn and told me that they would put it back the way it should be, but that didn’t really happen. It wasn’t that tragic either; so I didn’t call them back. They could have done a much better job with that; otherwise they were fine and they were very responsive. The workers didn’t do a good job, but I know that the plumber I dealt with would have redone it if I had called him back. However, I would use them again.

Keith arrived within the time scheduled and got right to work. Because our house is so old, we thought the valves might not be serviceable and would need to be replaced. Keith was able to disassemble the valves and install new rubber washers. We were quite pleased with the service and will use Reliance again.

The water line to my refrigerator freezer broke and water started pouring out. We tried to repair it ourselves, but were unsuccessful. I had little hope that we would find someone to come on a Saturday, and if they did I expected a big overcharge, but we could not leave the line leaking so we called around. Reliance said someone would come within 2 hours. They called within an hour to confirm that Keith (the plumber) was on his way, and he arrived promptly. He evaluated the problem and explained exactly what it would take to fix it. He quoted a standard trip fee with no additional amount for it being a weekend. He was professional, knowledgeable and fast. This was the first time I used this company. I was very pleased with the service that Reliance provided, the speed with which they came, the cost, and the quality of the person they sent. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

After the initial visit, Reliance emailed us a proposal to rebuild the toilet for $475 or replace it for $720. I wrote back and asked if they had applied the Angie discount and asked other questions. A day later I called and was told that Andre was out in the field, so I sent another email with additional questions about their proposal. I had no response from them so I called a different plumber who was able to fix the toilet in under an hour for less than $200. We have used Reliance many times in the past so we are disappointed with this episode and will not be calling them again for other work in the future.

The work was completed in one day. There have been no problems since installation. Overall satisfied with the work. I would use Reliance again in the future.

They called on the day in question and offered an even earlier appointment, which I gladly accepted. Their plumber Andre was here within 10 minutes of accepting the earlier appointment. The entire intsallation was done and completed super professionally within 40 minutes. Cost was $297, but with Angies on-line coupon, price was reduced to $252.90. We are very satisifed, but like most people, think this price is very high for 40 minutes of work, when I supplied amost all my own parts. Would I use them again though? Absolutely. Reliance is the first place I would call. We have high regard for John Holden and Andre who have been to our house on more than one occasion. They do know their stuff, are very professional and neat and clean and extremely intelligent.

I can't say that I have an issue with the plumbing work done for the building. My concerns are with other aspects of their service. I am on the condo board, actively involved in getting quotes for work at our condo building and I am female. I also do 99% of all the work for the association. I am very experienced getting quotes due to my professional experience and haven't ever had the idea that I was being treated differently because I am a woman vs. a man. For some reason, despite the fact that I am facilitating the plumbling quotes, the owner of Reliance (Alex) directs all of the contracts to a man on the board. I let this issue slide with the first two jobs as I thought it might just be an oversight. But, two weeks ago, I requested another quote for additional plumbing work. I reiterated to the estimator that came out that the quote needed to come to me. I called Reliance one week later to inquire about the quote and was told that the owner had been out sick and that he was behind on getting the quotes out. I reminded the person I spoke with that the quote should be sent to my attention and provided my email. After still another week had gone by and I hadn't received the quote I called Reliance again. This time, I spoke with Charles, the manager. Charles wouldn't answer my question when I asked what the status of the quote was. He said that it should have been sent out that day. I told him that I hadn't received anything and had to ask him to actually check if the quote was sent. My impression was that this request was an imposition to him. Charles confirmed that that quote had been sent, but to the male on the board. I asked Charles why this had been done as I was handling this matter. Charles wouldn't answer my question. I asked to speak to the owner and Charles stated that the owners were in and out. I asked when they would be available to talk with me and Charles told me that Reliance did not want to do business with me. I asked to be transferred to the owner's voicemail and Charles hung up on me!. I called back and spoke with someone else and left a message for Alex, the owner who does the quotes,requesting a return call. I haven't heard back from him. Regardless of the adequacy of the plumbing work, I would never do business with Reliance again. I just cannot imagine a manager hanging up on a customer. And why they will not send quotes to a female board member, I do not know, but the management there clearly has someone to learn about customer service.

They arrived as promised and are reliable. The service technicians have been very nice and did the job quickly and satisfactorily. They always respond promptly when I call them.

I called for an appointment on 2/21 and was told they would be out between 1:00pm and 3:00pm and would call when they were on the way. No call was received and the plumber did not arrive, I waited from 12:30 to 5:00pm. This was my first experience with an Angie's List contractor - not very impressive!

I liked their services and would use them again.
