Description of Work: Every aspect of our work with DeckDoc was wonderful. George performed the in person estimate, and was courteous and described the work which needed to be done in a specific and understandable way. He made sure to completely inspect the deck for possible issues. Then he offered a quote which was very fair (lower than the other major deck company who provided a quote). Once work began, all went perfectly. Ed, the carpenter, completed the power washing, and repairs first. He worked efficiently and always arrived on time. His repair work was very meticulous and he cleaned the work area after he was finished. Also, we have large gardens right around our deck, and he made sure to protect those very well. Then Ed sanded the deck. He sanded each board with a small sander to get every section completely removed of old stain and other residue.. he did this in 92 degree weather and still worked efficiently and carefully. For the stain, George offered us three choices which they applied to a small portion of the deck so we could see the color on our actual deck. To George’s credit, we changed our color choices twice, and he had no problem with that. Finally, the stain was applied flawlessly and the deck turned out great. Communication from George throughout was quick and courteous. We would recommend DeckDoc as a wonderful company for any patio deck work!
