The exterior of our house in NW Evanston was damaged to the tune of nearly $25k following a significant hail storm. When it came time to replace our aluminum siding with Hardie we called Joe on the recommendation of a neighbor. Joe earned our trust early with great communication and helpful guidance throughout the claim process and was onsite to maximize the claim with our adjuster. We eventually received 4-6 competitive quotes on the project before signing a contract. Joe took the time to review these quotes and match another well-reviewed local contractor. The eventual teardown and installation took nearly 2 weeks, but Joe stopped by every 2 or so days to provide updates and finalize last minute color and design choices. We could not be happier with our experience and the finished project. I will be using Joe for all our future construction needs and referring him to our friends and family.

I couldn't have asked for better service and responsiveness in dealing with my very difficult insurance company than what Capital provided. I want to give a special mention to Gloria Rodriguez and Phil Cho who were absolutely relentless in their efforts on my behalf in getting my claim approved (after 3 different inspections mind you) for full roof and gutter replacement as well as scrape and paint of my cedar siding. I actually think that Gloria cared more than me about my own home which blew me away! And Phil's personal touch and people skills are off the charts! It's an absolute must to have Capital working alongside you when dealing with your insurance company on a claim. I can honestly say that without their services I wouldn't have gotten anywhere near what I ended up getting on my claim.

My insurance company rejected my roof replacement claim for hail damage stating there is minimal damage and wrote me a check for 98.00 after my 1000.00 deduction. Gloria the office manager from Capital Construction said this is not right the way this insurance company is treating us. Gloria became my advocate and fought my insurance company and got them to paid for a new roof. Gloria pursued the claim adjuster and did not let them bully us. Gloria is very aggressive in negotiating with the insurance company. This went on for over 3 months until the insurance company agree to paid for a new roof. Unbelievable to this day what Gloria did for us. So, I highly recommend you talk to Gloria from Capital Construction if your insurance company rejected or low-ball your claim for damages to your home. Note I said Gloria is the office manager not a Public Adjuster. Gloria would make an awesome Public Adjusters negotiating insurance clients claims with insurance company.

Capital Construction and Restoration was a dream come true. They dealt with my insurance company and replaced my roof which had been damaged by hail. My initial interaction was with their office manager, Gloria Rodriguez. She is a SUPERSTAR! Gloria guided me every step of the way and was diligent and assertive in dealing with the insurance company. She knows her stuff and is extremely competent. Phil Cho, one of the owners, came out to the house a few times to gather evidence to support the insurance claim and was also very diligent in dealing with the insurance company. Capital did what I could never have done on my own. The roof replacement was done with expert craftsmanship and I could not be more pleased. Thank you Capital Construction and Restoration!

I have to hire another contractor to come in and fix the work Capital Construction did at my home. I spent $15,000 on a new roof that they guaranteed, and they said their work would fix my leaks. Not only did not their work not fix the leaks but now they are worse. I have called, texted, and sent emails but they have stopped responding to my requests to remediate. Buyer beware.

They are very professional and timely. There was a storm coming and they came out and put a tarp on it. At that time they provided me my options. It was nice to have someone walk me through the process and I trusted them fully. I highly recommend them for roofing projects.

In my garage, they cut a hole in the roof to provide a exhaust vent for a gas heater. I was impressed with the two guys who did it. Their expertise in their trade was quite evident. They were able to complete the whole job within two hours, which I was impressed by. Initially, scheduling was easy and seamless, and the job was done within a week of me calling.

They were very prompt, and always willing to work with our schedule. Overall it was a great experience and we are very happy with their work.
