Very well! Cameron came and gave me an initial quote. When I remarked that it was more than I was willing to pay, he suggested another model (without sound insulation). I accepted his new, lower offer, and signed a contract. I had forgotten to show the 5% coupon from Angie's List. I sent a message (through Angie's List) asking whether I could still get the discount. After some hesitation, the answer was positive. When Cameron arrived to do the work, he explained that he had brought a lower-capacity furnace, because for my small home the higher-capacity version was unnecessary and would have difficulty fitting into my small utility room. I later read on the internet that for a small home, a high-capacity furnace might actually be less efficient and not last as long. Cameron installed the furnace well, and gave me the full 5% price discount. My brother later wondered whether the lower-capacity furnace might also cost a little less, and whether that was the actual "source" of the 5% discount. That may or may not be true; but as long as the furnace is able to heat my small 1-occupant home, I have no reason to complain.

Excellent job. Cameron provided excellent communications before the visit. He was professional, courteous and provided details of the work needed. The quote was very reasonable and he did a fine job. They had to replace some old piping but were able to do it the same day and did it promptly.

They did not end up doing any work for me. However, I really appreciated their quick responsiveness and explaining that they do not service my area. They have been trying to get Angie's list to stop recommending people outside their service area send them quote requests. Considering how poor the responsiveness has been for me here from many companies that *do* service my area, this showed better professionalism than much of their competition.

Very responsive, appointment easy to schedule. Our problem was a chronic (16 months) egg/sulfur smell in our hot water (also in our cold water but NOTHING compared to the hot water). The house has been in the family since 1973 and there has never been any well water issues - always great testing water with no smell at all. We came home from vacation back in September 2017 and immediately noticed the smell. We dealt with it for 16 months trying different things such as changing the anode rod in the water heater (smell returned within 1 week), later replaced the water heater, that didn't help at all, when we finally realized we couldn’t use our whole house humidifier because it was blowing the sulfur smell around we finally decided to call a professional. Brett tested the water, thankfully no concerns (other than hardness). He thought perhaps a particular bacteria was in our well causing the sudden onset of smelly water. Brett sanitized the well and suggested we do that yearly, drained and sanitized the water heater, replaced our old water softener, flushed the lines and everything is running great. It's been 1 week and there is no sulfur smell, water softener running correctly and water tests amazing. I love the new water softener, it has a countdown meter letting me know when the next recharge will occur. Very happy with the job. I will definitely use again and also recommend Hobson’s Plumbing to others.

The plumber was there exactly on time as promised. He worked quickly and efficiently, but was friendly and answered all of my questions. The quality of the job was clearly better than the less than stellar looking job that I had done. Couldn't be more pleased.

At first I wasn't happy that they wouldn't give a quote over the phone, but they came out the day of our inquiry, gave us a very reasonable quote, and did the work then and there. The work was done neatly and efficiently, and Brett was gracious enough to take a little extra time to look at some issues with our bathroom sink faucet and low pressure in our tub faucet. He gave us a quote for those projects and we will definitely be calling them to schedule both projects within the next month. I am very happy to give them a five-star rating, they earned it. Great experience all the way around.

Brett did a great job and was very careful not to get things dirty. The sink now drains with no problem. They will be called for all my plumbing needs.

Estimate was a bit more than I thought it would be, but since I only got the one, I have no basis to compare. I wanted the job done quickly and they could meet my timeline. I cut the opening in the sub floor as per the plumbers instructions during the estimate. When he arrived to do the job, it was done quickly and professionally. I had already cut the replacement sub floor piece so once the piping was in place, he drilled his hole and it fit perfect The floor piece was screwed back down and now it's ready for me to finish the floor. The new flange is level. It's the right height, and done right. I definitely would hire them again.

He had to test a bunch of different pipes but found the leak and repaired it. He did a great job, he and his wife are very responsive. I've had to use their service several times in the last few years and they have high integrity and get high marks from me.

Brett listened carefully to what I needed and asked questions to clarify. He gave an estimate on the phone along with the explanation that they sometimes run into unexpected problems. He was able to send someone the next day. The technician looked to verify the actual cost would be the same as the estimate. Not only did he do the job quickly and well, he also suggested how to prevent future problems and also answered another plumbing question.

The work was done efficiently and with excellent quality. Brett quoted a better rate by far, and even included work that wasn't in a competing estimate that he discovered should have been included (still came in below the other estimate). He went above and beyond to make sure everything got fixed, something a competitor was not willing to do. I have since used them again for some toilet work, and that was excellently done as well!
