Great service and responsiveness. Tyler did a great job of showing and explaining the problem part and how it relates to the efficiency of the furnace. Very reasonable price for part and service. Will definitely use B&K in the future. Highly recommended.

Tyler was very courteous and professional and showed me what he found while cleaning the furnace and also clearly explained what some of my options were from a remediation perspective.

I messaged B-K through Angie's List at 6:15 a.m. By 7:30 a.m., B-K called me back to set up an appointment for 9 a.m. Great! The B-K technician arrived at 9 a.m. After 2 hours of investigation, he isolated the problem to the furnace control board ("motherboard"), which therefore required replacement. He did not have such a specific part in stock, and hence left to buy it. He estimated 1 hour to buy it, and 1/2 hour to install it. He declined to estimate a cost. He returned almost 2 hours later. The installation (along with subsequent inspection and cleaning) took almost 3 hours--thus, almost 7 hours total for the entire job. His bill was $635. Because of the frigid outside temperature, he could not test the air conditioning capability of the unit. An internet search suggests that his bill was at the high end of the range. Perhaps more disturbing is that his 3-hour installation, as well as his initial 2-hour investigation, required almost continual by-wire advice from his more experienced father. I remain worried that: - His repeated failed installation attempts may have subtly damaged, or at least reduced the effective life of, the new control board - The air conditioning capability of the control board is still untested. His warranty is for only 30 days. I am giving B-K a "B" rating primarily because they came quickly and fixed the problem the same day--otherwise, price and quality might suggest a "C".

Great came the same day got the heat going and did not take advantage of us only did what was needed!!

Bill was very professional and courteous. He explained the workings of the furnance and humidifier. Also, he explained indicators for the humidifier to determine if it is set too high. He solved the problem of a whistling furnance. After he finished the inspection of the furnance, he purged the sediment fro the hot water heater.

Bill and his partner did the annual inspection on the furnace and not only were they professional but they were courteous. Bill explain to me the workings of a humidifier. Explain where I should typically set my humidifier and also the indicators to determine if I have it set to high. Explain when and how often I should change my filters in PM that should be done to the furnace. Also, he drain my hot water of sediment which I was not expecting. It is so hard to find a reputable HVAC person. We were very fortunate we found Bill and his company

I had B-K Installations service an air conditioner that was not working properly and they identified the issue quickly and had it repaired and recharged that afternoon. They provided great service and we now use them for annual maintenance on the furnace and AC.

Bill is a friendly and experienced HVAC professional. I’ve already referred him to two of my friends and look forward to seeing him in the spring to clean and inspect my air conditioner for next summer.

Excellent service. Bill and his assistant arrive right on time. Looked at the AC and furnace. Checked pressures. Cleaned everything up nice. Gave me a report. Quick and easy. I’m on their monthly billing program for two check-ups per year, so it’s real easy. Maintenance is the most important thing you can do for your AC/furnace.

Saturday morning, water heater went out. Same day, Dick arrived at noon with a new heater and installed same day. Also same situation with a new furnace, same day delivery and install along with a humidifier. The space was limited (we live in a town-home) so the humidifier was a problem. However, this was accomplished with the expertise of his people. Very satisfied with his work and knowledge.

It was good. They were very communicative. They told me what was going on. They were there on time. The work was done professionally.

Warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They got it done and talked to you all the time. They were congenial.

Thorough check of the system, asked questions about prior performance, maintenance, & service. Extremely knowledgeable & experienced, as well as very friendly, genuine, honest & straightforward--no BS. Even though it's an older AC unit, it really only needed refrigerant recharging and a thorough cleaning of the outdoor unit. Very good work at a great price! No extra parts or surprise extra charges--only what was needed. Very happy & relieved to have found these guys! I'll definitely use them again & refer others to them as well.

They did top notch work. Very honest and reputable. The work took a day and he cleaned up very well. He definitely went above and beyond to get the repairs needed and only what was needed.

I have used BK Installations for about 8 years for both AC checks in the spring and finance checks in the fall. They always do a great job and have kept my systems in top shape for several years. I find them to be punctual and professional as well as reasonably priced.
