Go Scrubber - Maid Cleaning Services

TLDR: They are not cheap or thorough. Not worth the money. These folks were nice and friendly, but really did not do the job that was asked. It's as if we never hired them at all. We hired Go Scrubber to clean our new home so it'd be ready to move in. We contracted them for a deep cleaning and wall/ceiling washing. Our primary need and biggest concern was having the walls and ceilings washed and cleaned because the prior tenant was a smoker. This need was communicated ahead of time, but they did not understand that when there is smoke/nicotine residue, you have to wash the walls and ceilings multiple times - essentially until the water runs clear. They did wipe down the walls, but only once as far as I could tell. You could see dirt on the walls from where they attempted to wipe. There were other areas of the walls that were clearly untouched as you could still see dust and cobwebs on the walls. We wiped it down afterwards and the water was still very very brown. When we confronted them about it, their reply was more or less "it's as good as it gets." While our contact was very responsive and did offer a $75 discount off our $750 bill, it is still upsetting since we basically have to redo the job as if no one ever came to clean the house. We now have to hire another crew from a different company to come in and do the job - which is costing us additional money. This is all not cheap. Apart from the wall/ceiling washing, they did not do a very thorough job of deep cleaning the house. In our contract it stated that the inside of the fridge, cabinets and drawers would be cleaned. The fridge still smelled bad and there were still crumbs/debris in the drawers. The bookcases were still dusty too. Some of our personal cleaning supplies were also taken - perhaps mistakenly - but gone nonetheless. It's unfortunate to be writing this review as they did do something and were friendly folks, but they did not thoroughly do the job that was asked.
