He had some problems with glue and had to redo the work.

This man is a crook. He told me he had been refinishing furniture for 29 years. I trusted he could do the job of refinishing the tops of two end tables, a coffee table and the top of a game table, all of which were cherry stain. When I went to pick them up, all he had done was sand the top and put a WALNUT stain on them, which did not even match the rest of the tables. I was about in tears and my husband told him he needed to fix them back to the same color. We unwilling took the other table top becasue we needed it but it's 3 different colors now. He demanded the remaining 50% owed before he would fix the other three and we regretfully paid him. Which he demanded CASH. Over the next 3 weeks I phoned him 7 times, all without a response. On the 4th week he left me a message that he left the tables on my porch (Very unprofessional) and that in his opinion, they were perfect. When I got home not only had he not changed the color, but put the tops back on crooked. I called him and of course he didn't answer and told him he ruined the tables and I couldn't even sell them like this. I told him he had no idean what he was doing and he should be ashamed for taking peoples hard earned money when he has no clue what he's doing. BEWARE...HE IS HORRIBLE!!! He also claims to have a business at 503 Pine Street in Normal, IL...it's his house and he does the work in garage that does not even have a door!!!!
