Bought a new home and had some work to be done so immediately contacted Nordines as we'd had good experiences in the past. Made sure to be clear at the time that we needed people to be masked in our home, due to having multiple immunocompromised family members. Person that came out to look it over and provide a quote was nice, but incredibly flaky. How flaky? Well we bought the home at the end of last year, and we only just got the final info on the quote in mid-june. But contractor's, right? But it gets worse. They absolutely refused to have their workers wear masks in our home while the work was being done. On what would be a week long set of projects, while we work from home. Either one of these alone would be bad enough, but combined it means we were asked to wait around for six months to just be told to put our lives in danger for the comfort of their workers. Completely unreasonable and disrespectful, and I cannot stress how much this has cost us in time and energy. Maybe you don't care about masking, but if they refuse to even make as small a concession as that for incredibly patient customers, ask yourself what kind of respect they'll have for your simple requests. I must, in the most stringent terms, recommend you not waste your time here.

Back in 2018 i had this company come and do a siding repair around my back patio and lay down flashing at the foot of my patio door on the upper deck of my house. Rain was pouring in through the patio door on the bottom from the top because whoever built the house had failed to lay the flashing down on the upper floor deck. The water pouring down from the top had destroyed the mold sealing the bottom patio door. Flashing had to be put down and siding needed to be replaced. George said there would be a problem matching the siding on the house since it was no longer made. He indicated if he couldn't find a similar match that he would take the siding from the chimney and swap it with the siding that needed to be replaced on the back of the house since typically the chimney draws less attention from viewers then the rest of the house. They came out did the work...no complaint there....never thought anything else of it. I didn't even bother to look at the chimney. Fast forward almost two years to the date and my neighbor on the north side of the house is trying to filter the gutter spout through a fence we share over to the side of my house. I rarely look over at this side of the house...almost never. I go to see all what he's doing and i notice extreme discoloration when looking at my siding. I literally thought my neighbor had stripped the siding off my house. I was ready to call the police. I check with George and asked if he and his crew took siding off the side of the house without notifying me and furthermore replaced it with siding that looks nowhere close to what the color of my siding looks like. He acted like he didn't have a clue...which if i have to be a judge of character, I'm pretty sure he did. I was almost about to start a war with my neighbor because i couldn't imagine anyone else committing such a heinous act. Finally i continued to press George about it and he finally admitted that his crew took siding from the house and 1) didn't tell me 2) replaced it with siding that almost make it look like an incomplete siding job on that side. The worse thing is that if they had been straightforward and honest from the jump they likely would have made more money off the deal as i could have went to my insurance company notified them of the problem and they would have at the very least paid for that side of the house to have everything replaced or the whole house, but George and his crew robbed me of that option. Now the insurance company wont cover any of it. They acknowledged they would have addressed the initial repairs, but it was no longer their issue with the construction inadequacy. The only reason I don't sue them is any attempt to would be premature since i cant tell for certain what, if any, impact it would have on the sale of the house. Its more of a principle thing at this point and i plan to tell as many people as possible about it before it's all said and done. Its a despicable act..even more so since I explained to him that I was at odds with my neighbor over it and he still wasn't coming forward with the truth. Here i am embarrassing myself and creating conflict with my neighbor because he's too coward to admit his wrong and come forward with the truth. People need to know about this guy and his company even if i turn out to be the only one he has done this to.

I constantly had to call to ask for updates because they wouldn't come when they said they were going to or didn't finish; when there was a problem with the door it actually took nearly 6 months to get it fixed and required multiple phone calls from me; the people who came out were very pleasant, but I expect a company to respond and to keep me updated without me having to be the one to call repeatedly to find out. This company is significantly more expensive than others, but they tout their customer service, which is important to me, so I went with them. Didn't pan out.

We were very pleased. The insurance settlement was completed on a Monday and Nordine's was there the next day to begin work and worked for 4 days solid to complete it. They were very courteous and professional.

Mike, the general manager, wouldn't itemize the billing or work with our budget. He kept quoting different pricing and we are not going to be using their services.

Some of the materials they would have used were discontinued. We ended up going with a different company because of that. The technician who came out did fine job. I had no problem scheduling the estimate.

The service went very well. The crew completed the job in about 3-4 days. I was not home for the entire service. I mostly dealt with the owner. He was very cordial and helpful. I had no problem scheduling with the company.

The service went fine. We ended up not using them because they are extremely expensive. We have not yet followed through with the project. The same technician came out for both estimates. He seemed to be a little arrogant. He asked right away what we were looking to spend and he was not receptive at all to that. I am a negotiator and they were not willing to work with me to keep the cost down. I had no problem scheduling either estimate.

The service went great. Four technicians came out and completed the project in about a week and a half. I thought they were all very personable and knowledgeable. I had no complaints on the service. I had no problem scheduling the service.

We ended up going with another company because their pricing was outrageous. The technician who came out did a nice job with the estimate. We had no problem scheduling the estimate.

The service and installation went fine. The reason we replaced the door is because the door was off center and we are still having the same issue to this day. 1-2 technicians came out and completed the job in a half day. I had no problem scheduling their service.

first of all they're not contractors they subcontract all the work and mark up bill 20 to 30 percent. You can hire a contractor directly and save the 20 to 30 percent. The employees they have are substandard and they complain about materials that I purchased they only want to use the very best and sometimes that is unavailable considering what Nordine charges. They are by far the most expensive general contractor in the Bloomington Normal area. Would not use them again. would not recommend them to anyone!

We did call Nordine Remodeling LLCto get an estimate, it is very disappointing. They came out, actually Mike was the person, who came out. They actually took my home plans and said they would be back within in a week with some suggestions, never got back to us, my husband called them repeatedly, never returned our phone calls and did not, after repeatedly asking, return our home plans. This was over 8 months ago and just the other day, which is I am remembering it, we got a call from somebody in their office saying, we would like to return your home plans, no explanation of why they never called. They came down to my house, looked at my kitchen, remodeling and all that stuff, oh, yeah I am going to do this and then just totally throw this off, very disappointing. They were looking at remodeling our kitchen. He did show up on-time in the initial visit, but they never got back to us.

Everything went great. We had storm damage and the insurance company hadn't provided enough for the necessary repairs. I attained quotes from several contractors, none of which cared about the amount provided by the insurance claim. Nordine's worked with the insurance company and were able to attain payment to complete all the necessary repairs. They found the exact siding to match, which wasn't a common brand. Showed me a broad selection of roofing products and explained my options thoroughly. They showed up when they said they would. Everyone was polite, professional and attainable. Quality of the work is good. My property looks great. I would definitely use them again.

Just fine, what can I say about installing window, it is a bit messy, however when Nordine's finish and left we could not tell they were here as all the mess was cleaned up including dust removal.

Sales person (Mike) is a bit pushy and abrasive sometimes. But ultimately we felt the most comfortable with Nordines. Windows were installed by a subcontractor, his team (3 guys with 20+ years of experience each) were fantastic. I can't remember the team leader of the group, he made sure everything was put in perfectly and even performed some minor repairs on a couple other windows that were not in scope of the quote. We may of just lucked out with a good subcontractor, even so, very happy with the quality of work.

They showed up well before their scheduled appointment without notice. Once here, we could not get them to stay focused on the problem at hand, which was a structural leak we needed to have repaired. They only seemed to want to talk about replacing our siding and windows. Also, they would not provide an actual estimate. (I said $500 for the approximate cost of service, because the field is required.) They simply quoted a price per hour, with no upper limit to what the total charge could be. We turned to someone who was willing to focus on our needs.

The project was not started on promised date but weather had something to do with that. The job was completed and the workers cleaned up debris daily. A couple of weeks after the project was finished and it rained and there was a leak in a corner where our sunroom was attached to the main house. We had talked about that area before the project began. When I called, someone was sent out immediately to repair the problem. I haven't had a problem with that area again. Eleven months later another leak occurred at a flashing around a chimney. Again after I called, someone was sent out that day to assess the problem. A person actually came out on Sunday to fix the problem. The ceiling inside my house was damaged and Nordine sent another vendor to fix the ceiling which was 18 feet high. I was very happy with the service I received from tis company.

We purchased a house in July 2012 and there was a water damage spot on the roof of the sunroom. The prior owners had hired Nordine Remodeling to do the repair that came with a warranty. In September we had some big rains and found that the sunroom was leaking. Water was still getting in from the roof. Nordine Remodeling had sealed the prior area inside the room so it wasn't showing at the point any longer but water was coming in though the door jams. The entry point on the roof had not been repaired. George Nordine came out to take a look and said that the warranty would not cover it because Nordine Remodeling had done their job and "roofs can have many points from which they leak from so there was no way to prove whether or not this was the same leak." Being the "nice guy" that he is he said if I wanted to pay an additional $500 he would have someone come out to find and fix the entry point from the roof. He sent his guy to the house and this guy said he "caulked all around" but he couldn't find where it was coming in. The leak is still occurring. I wasn't interested in Mr. Nordine giving me the pitch again about how his guy fixed that problem and this leak must be from a new source and for an additional $500 he'd look for THAT leak so I am hiring someone else to take care of it.

George gave a very competitive quote and a detailed presentation. In addition, when measuring the roof for his quote, he noticed some siding damage and gave a very competitive quote to fix that as well. His crew was very quick, did a great job and cleaned up very well. George also followed up to ensure that we were happy with the work before asking for payment. George is a pleasure to work with . . . I highly recommend Nordine's.

Bill was super nice and helpful. He talked with us about roofing. Did not select him for this project (too high) but he spent ample time talking with us, telling us what he thought we should do, listed questions we should ask of the other contractor, etc. He went above and beyond! Called him later to have a ceiling fan installed and walls painted in bathroom. His employee put in a bathroom fan. He painted the walls around the tub. Didn't know he was to paint the ceiling, too. Came back and completed that job.

received about 7 bids..Nordines price was middle of the pack but service was excellent!

They measured the windows four times because the windows were oddly shaped, but the pre-existing trim proved to be a problem still. It took two months to get the appropriate trim as well.

I had ideas already of what I wanted done. I contacted Nordine, they were there the next day to look over what I was requesting and give me a quote. I got an email quote the next day. I took advantage of a holiday special they had going on so that saved me some money too! I wasn't picky on what and how things got done but I was amazed with the results. My new counter-top and bathroom sink were installed in less than a week. I was super happy with the results and work. And they cleaned up after!!! Bonus!

The original appointment took a week to schedule, I contacted 4 roofing contractors to bid my roof and insulation upgrade. They recommended I go with r-50 rating insulation (when r-38 is current code . I requested a bid that included closed cell spray foam, the provided me with a bid for bats and blown in fiberglass. I was un impressed with the quality of their showroom. The workmanship at our meeting on their site featured cracked tile grout, crown molding in the tray ceiling poorly finished. Price was 2nd highest of 4 contractors.
