 + -1 moreMostly things went well. Midstate made some good suggestions, and showed up as promised. One gutter ended up sloping a bit the wrong way, so that it does not drain completely. Price seemed a little high for the size of the job.

Description of Work: I was referred by a local business owner who had just used Midstate. I called, got an estimate to gutter a free standing garage. I received a prompt quote and asked for them to do the job. They came within the month and did a fine job installing the gutters at what I thought was a reasonable price.

Description of Work: Midstate had the perfect product for us, a gutter protector that was designed for pine needles as we have lots of pine trees hovering over our roof. The gutters and downspouts they recommended look great on our house and withstood the latest rain deluge w/o us having water in our basement. The men were very good to work with, kept in touch via phone, cleaned up and came back to cut some downspouts that my husband wanted shortened. If you had an A+ rating I would have chosen to award it to Midstate Gutters. |

 + -1 moreBoth times they were pleasant, and on time. As part of the re-roofing, I had some ideas on how to do the gutters a little differently. We discussed my ideas, came to an agreement, and they made a few modifications.
Description of Work: They have done work for me twice. Many years ago they removed the old gutters and installed new. Most recently they were a sub-contractor to a roofer, removing the gutters before the new roof, and replacing them after. The "cost of service" just reflects the sub-contracting for the roofer.

 + -1 moreThe company has qualified workers. But they were slow to respond. Also, I had a leak in a corner area and it needed caulking. The company promised to fix that area as part of the job, but failed to do so. At first, they blamed it on rainy weather. They promised to return to do that area once it got sunny. But they never returned, even after I called several times (on sunny days) over a period of months. The area still leaks.
Description of Work: Midstate put up screen in gutters and new downspouts on my house. They also promised to caulk a leak in existing gutter.

 + -1 moreMidwest must be very busy. It took two calls and two weeks to get an estimate. It took an additional three weeks for the workmen to show up. Once they got on the job, the work was done in a flash, and it appears to me to be well done. Midwest is weak in the area of customer communications prior to doing the job, but strong on quality. The foreman I interfaced with both forthcoming with advice and open to questions.
Description of Work: I needed a new downspout and repair of gutters on the back side of my house. The company did a fine job, and the foreman (John) went beyond. He cleaned gutters all around the house and drew my attention to missing brackets, which he and his helper replaced without addition charge for labor.
