We used the Concierge service on Angie's list to find this provider, and although our move was cancelled, we were delighted with the companie's service in every respect leading up to the planned move.

The showed up on time, did the work as per contract (because it was local it was contracted for a set price not by the hour). They even made a side trip to deliver one piece of furniture to a different address because it would not fit into the new address, and didn't charge extra. They were pleasant, took great care to protect the walls and floors. No breakage or damage of any sort to either our goods or to either property.

I was going to purchase a safe in East Peoria, but settled upon one in Bloomington. The large sporting goods retailer in East Peoria did not offer delivery, but provided me a contact for a company in Utica, IL that moved safes. To get from Utica to East Peoria and then to my home in Normal the estimated cost was between $400 and $500 - way too much. I located a safe in Bloomington and contacted North American for assistance. Their price was much lower than it would have cost me had I purchased a safe in East Peoria. I made the purchase last Saturday and they delivered on Tuesday. Their service people were very prompt, very professional and very strong. They used a dolly that walked down the stairs to my basement, which relieved the men from having to haul the full weight. It took all of 10 minutes for the crew to unload from their truck, move the safe, unpack the safe and set it where I asked. The safe was protected by several moving blankets. The crew did not bump into any walls, which was tremendous. I would definitely use these folks again and recommend them highly.
