Salesmen were knowledgable and even honored an expired promotion since I was a returning customer. Installers were very prompt and professional.

I had to pay in full before any work was done. I told the salesman no illegals and 2 of the 5 couldn't speak English, all Hispanics.

The work crew was excellent and did a great job. They went over and above to complete the job. They stayed late to try and finish in one day as promised, but I had no problem with them returning the next morning to finish. Very please with the effort and attention they brought to the project.

Empire did great. Reasonable after negotiating a better deal and doing my own research!

Empire installed carpet in my basement. The installer from Empire (Marcos) was outstanding. When he arrived at my house and saw the job, he shared with me that transition strips were not included in the project. He called his boss and shared with him. Marcos then told me that either he or his boss would be back the next day to install the transition strips. The person who gave me the bid for the project did not discuss transition strips with me. All she did was measure the floor, quote me a price, and ask me to sign 7 documents on her iPad. When Empire called me after the job to see how things went, I shared with customer service that the installer told me that transition strips were not included, that the installer called his boss and told him and that the installer assured me that transition strips would be installed the next day. Customer service explained that transition strips were not included in the quote and referred me to page 2 of the contract. I never heard from them again. If I knew what I needed for the project, I would have done it myself. Very disappointed - would not recommend Empire

They quoted a price that was inflated- they inflated the square footage, overcharged for the product and when I cancelled after finding this out- magically they reduced the price by $2000!! They would have charged me an inflated price if I had not gotten other estimates. That is not how I want to be treated!

They arrived on time and did a beautiful job. They cleaned up after themselves sand left the room clean after the job. Further the two installers were. Very pleasant and polite.

The overall experience was very positive. All of the Empire Today reps were professional and pleasant. There were a one or two things that the sales rep either failed to tell me or I forgot. I expected more than a brief walk through just as the installers began. The installers were excellent. They went above and beyond the expected.

The process went smooth, including the scheduling and the arrival time for installation. I am very pleased with this company.

Their quoted $19K for a vinyl wood floor and told me that was their 50% price!! Really, $38K? Got me to contract by saying a $25.00 deposit would save $2K in taxes, so foolishly I did. Turns out they overstated measurements by 400 feet! They then delayed installation for a month. Thankfully, I was able to cancel the order, but not before their "cancellation dept" offered to lower their price by $5K on a phone call! So unethical. I went with a small company, J&R Hardwood Floors, which did a great job for $7K less with the same product! Empire is a scam.

Our sales associate showed up on time and was very professional. He was very patient with us as we chose our carpet and flooring. They had good choices and fair pricing. The installer was great!
