Great, they are gone despite multiple efforts by myself and another company. Charzjon was a great technician and worked hard to get them out and went out of his way to make time for our issue. He was here several times after 6pm. He's fearless! We installed a fence after the skunks were removed and so far so good. The skunks are attracted to the prior dens already dug under our porch and so it has been difficult to keep them away

Bobby A was an awesome guy! Professional, courteous, punctual. Knew a lot about the wasp in question, and clearly loves his job. Very happy with the service.

The billing was not a pleasant experience. They said that they would send me a bill rather than pay on spot. After three months I called them twice for the bill and they said I will get it. After that I got the bill and it said I was past due. I had a cheque written because now you can debit it on an IPhone and the cheque was not mailed because the price was not confirmed. I called and they told me I must not worry because I am in the pile.

Bob was the guy who did the work. Very professional and on time and kept me in contact by phone when he would make it to job site. I thought the price was a little high but they will be doing a follow up.

We used Smithereen to perform two separate services and we were very satisfied with the results. Both technicians (Dave & Jeff) were punctual and explained the process thoroughly. Jeff who handled the bird situation provided a detailed emailed estimate and explained the numbers and what we'd be getting. He also called to follow up after service was complete to ensure we were satisfied and also provide some pointers on how to avoid running into the same situation again with birds nesting in the interior roof area of our rental apartment. I would recommend then to the condo association board for any pest/wildlife work done. Thank you.

The ant problem was fixed. J'mero came out twice (to follow up) and I didn't have to call back a bunch of times. We had a small ant problem, so he even tried to lower the cost for me since it wasn't that large of an area. Great experience!

Tech never showed up b/w 1-3. Called customer service, they said they would call him to get a time, but he was not answering his phone. She will keep trying. Called back at 4:30. They still had not heard from him and put me on hold to talk to Service Manager. While on hold for over 10 minutes I made an appointment with another company. No attempt to rectify the situation or call me back was ever made.

What a pleasant experience for such an unpleasant issue! I contacted Smithereen in the morning and before noon Jim Brucker was at my home. He was able to identify the insects, the issues they create and gave me service options that would take care of these problems. The costs quoted to me were very reasonable. Jim was extremely polite, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. I would definitely use Smithereen again for any future pest problems.

They were really good and really polite. They wore all the appropriate equipment and were very cautious as to where they were spraying. They were trustworthy and very prompt. I would recommend them.

We'd had this years ago, so we knew the signs. The guy put out a trap near where he thought they were entering and exiting, but never caught anything. After several weeks, many more sounds of squirrels could be heard in the walls all over the house, and in between the first floor's ceiling and the second floor's floor. Multiple calls had to be made to get a response. The stress involved with this pest control problem (not with the personnel - with the problem itself) can simply not be underestimated. Finally I called an expert (affiliated with a different firm) who has written extensively about a variety of unwanted animal pests. This expert took the time to ask many questions, and advised me that I probably had at least two squirrel families with newborns. He suggested that I make sure that the contractor refrain from closing any access points for several weeks, until the babies were large enough to leave the house. He warned me that if this was done, we'd have dead squirrels in our house. I was so impressed with this expert's knowledge that I called Smithereen and terminated our business relationship. I decided to hire the expert who had been so generous with his time and advice. I did not ask for any of my money back from Smithereen. Instead of terminating the relationship, I received a message on my phone from the Smithereen guy that said, essentially, he'd checked the cage frequently, looked around, and he didn't think we had squirrels at all. He further said that we probably just heard birds, and that he had closed up all access points so that the "birds" couldn't get in the house. A few weeks later, it became clear that the mess about which we'd been warned had come about. It became obvious that we had dead squirrels in our walls. We were able to find a couple of the corpses. In addition to being very sad, it was disgusting. We didn't find all of the corpses, obviously, because we had a terrible problem with giant black flies all summer long last year. They were doing what they always do in nature, recycling organic material, and turning death into life. But it was very difficult, to say the least, to have this in our house. I was overextended last summer and didn't take the time to write this review until now. I was reminded to do so because I just warned an acquaintance about them who has discovered that she has a squirrel problem. Although my experience with Smithereen left me with much more of a problem than I started with, I want to make it clear that they were not malicious in any way. The fellow assigned to my 'case' seemed like a very nice guy. I believed him when he said that he had not been told that I had dismissed their company; he seemed to feel genuinely sorry about the miscommunication that resulted in his closing egress points when I had told them to stop working. But I truly believe that he knew very little about squirrels, and further that he didn't take my description of what we were experiencing seriously. This was a terrible experience for us.

We haven’t had any major problems. They are very good and reliable. We live in the city so they look for mice, roaches, bees, ants, those kinds of things. They come out and spray and set mouse traps and leave us pest free.

I was very happy with the professionalism and competency displayed by this company. The process of removing the bed bugs was very simple and I have not had any issues since then.

See above for our story. Smitheen's sent out a tech who set traps, made several checks during the ensuing weeks, answered questions and reassured us. Cleaned up after himself each time he visited our home. Was very punctual and professional. Very friendly.

We wanted service for ants. A representative came out. We made a tentative appointment for several days later. They never came back. I even phoned the company again. They seemed confused.

They did get rid of the ants, but I thought they were expensive. It was just a one-time application and they were only warranting it for a month. The guy who came out was almost too friendly. The way he was projecting was that we were old time friends and he loved my mother and I just found it off putting.

It was good service. They helped us to diagnose our problem and then to hopefully keep them from coming back. We did have to call them back for a follow up service because there were termites that we found during some construction after we had had the service done. That was normal, they take a long time to get out of the system of the house so that's why they include a 30 and 90 day inspection after they do the treatment. The pricing seemed about the same as others, it seemed average.

They come out every year. I pay them annually. We have a relationship with them. They do work for most of the people here because they offer a special price. They cleaned outside the house. They satisfied everything what I needed.

Dave was very courteous and professional in his work. He was very thorough -- even took pictures up on the roof so I could see what the attic fan guard would look like once installed. As it turns out, Dave ended up providing services to all units in my townhome complex, and he coordinated the work very well. My only complaint is about the price. $175 is a lot for an inspection for this type of problem -- if I didn't have the Angie's List coupon it would have been $200. That cost isn't applied toward any other work you have done.
