TRI-STAR CABINET & TOP CO

If we could give Tri-Star 10 stars, we would! We were in contact with them and 3 other cabinet companies for quotes. The service we received from the team at Tri-star was truly amazing. Not only did they come in cheaper than the other companies (by thousands) BUT even if they didn’t, we had already decided were going to use them because of their unmatched customer service. They treated us like family and went ABOVE & BEYOND to help of find the exact look we were going for! They even ordered in a special slab for us to view and test stain. They truly care about the customer! We could not be happier with the result. I would like to give special recognition to Dale for cabinet design- he’s an expert and his drawings are impressive to say the least! A true artist. I would also like to thank Shawn & Andy for their expertise - you guys NAILED IT! We will only use Tri-Star for future projects and definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality products and service! Sneak peak pictures of our stunning cabinets in comments. We were very happy with our TriStar cabinets. Good quality shout out to Barry he came out and helped design the kitchen and laundry room The thing that I like the most was the customer service from the front girl that always have a smile on her face to Barry that came and designed our kitchen , laundry room, and also Dave that came to install our cabinets both did excellent jobs

It went pretty well. One of the cabinets didn't fit quite right but they made it right and it is not installed yet so I don't know about that. It was pretty expensive because we put in a lot of cabinets and I thought they were a little bit on the high side as far as pricing went but they were cheaper than the others were though. They were very responsive and professional.

Tri-Star was absolutely the best company to work with as far as service and quality. I had Tri-Star in a previous home and was always impressed with the quality of the cabinets. So, when we discovered they were right in New Lenox, IL where we llive, that is where we went. The showroom was very impressive...they had an example of almost everything so you could see your choices without having to imagine. We worked with Dale to create our dream kitchen. He was nothing short of straight forward, with excellent advise and expertise. We even changed a few minor things a week or so after the initial order, which was no problem at all. In addition, after the cabinets were delivered, we had a few questions prior to installing and Dale never failed to answer his cell phone. They said the cabinets would be delivered the week of Jan 28th, and on Jan 30th, they were sitting in our living room. As far as pricing, they were 1/3 LESS than Home Depot or Lowe's and the quality was FAR superior. Plus, the cabinets were customer instead of standard allowing us to center our sink and to add a casing of cabinets to our refrigerator which we could not do with standard. Due to Dale's guidance and the drawing he provided us, the installation was seamless. Everything fit like a glove and our kitchen is absolutely beautiful! I would recommend Tri-Star to everyone...such a joy to work with.

The displays are great at the shop. Staff are all very friendly. There's a lot to choose from and the staff are very helpful in aiding your decision. We were able to take home samples of finishes to ensure as close of a match to existing cabinetry as possible. In terms of scheduling an estimate, the associate we worked with mentioned her cell phone was the best way to get a hold of her. I should have listened. The 3 voicemails left over the course of 1 week at her business number went unreturned. The cell phone voice mail I left was returned in less than 24 hours. The associate was very flexible with scheduling measurement and estimate (I work long hours and evening means after 7:30pm for me). She was very accomodating with scheduling and very friendly/easy to talk with. The delivery of the final cost quote took a few days longer than what was committed to by the associate. The acceptance process was easy, the work was scheduled, and 6 weeks later (as promised) our vanity was ready. We opted for pick up versus delivery. However, Tri-State had a delivery going near our location and tried to help us out by putting our vanity on the truck. Unfortunately, we weren't at home to get the call or the delivery. We did appreciate the effort though. We picked up our vanity a few days later and are very very pleased. I assume that installation is reserved for larger jobs or not part of Tri-Star's normal business, because when I asked about installation, they very kindly offered to refer me to one of the craftsmen as a side job. I declined, due to already knowing someone that could accomodate our install as a side job. When we picked up the vanity, I asked to see it before I paid the balance(this was due to a bad experience with another cabinet maker years prior). The front office and craftsmen were very accomodating with this request. Its now installed, it looks great, its exactly what I wanted and had pictured in my head.

I am pleased with the cabinets -- they cost about the same as stock cabinets did at the time, and having custom cabinets let me design around some of the "features" of my kitchen.

They are great. They made a mistake in one of the cabinets, they picked it up and fixed it and brought it back a few days later. They are just easy to work with.

The work was done extremely well, it was done on time, and it was done to budget. We liked the cabinets. We were very pleased with the quality and workmanship of the cabinets. We were happy with the quote and went with the company. Their responsiveness wasn't an issue. We would use them in the future if we needed to.

My salesman was Wayne Haser. I was a walk-in customer and totally lucked out with a great salesman. He is very detail oriented, listened to my likes and dislikes as far as cabinets go and guided me in the right direction. He came to my home to measure, again, very detailed in his measurements and information. He made suggestions which afforded more storage. Once I ordered my cabinets they were ready in the time he specified. I did not feel pressured in any way.

Fantastic. Rick had a lot of great ideas; the kitchen design is great, he had great wood advice and also helped us keep in budget with some nice ideas. We have a very large kitchen and the cost was very very good-well worth the trips to Glen Ellyn and New Lennox to view cabinets. We have also needed a couple of items since the cabinets came. Again, Rick has been a great help.

They did a good job and I am probably going to call them again to do a little more work in my kitchen.

We feel cheated! Although we asked several times, we were not allowed to inspect our custom cabinets prior to delivery. Nothing was delivered as promised. What we selected and paid for was not what we received. We trusted Tri-Star and that was a BIG mistake!
