Original service performed 7/27/20. Went up in attic, threw 3 to 4 poison blocks around. Did not inspect where mice might be entering. Re: wasps at gable vent. He sprayed from ground level, but never put a ladder up to vent to inspect. Cost: $112.50. Expected much more to be done. We set another appointment with service guy for 8/31/20 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. It's written on receipt. Nobody showed. I called and got answering machine to complain. Never got a return call back. Terrible customer service.

Very well. Both guys that came out to the house were very friendly and professional.

While I wasn't around when the company performed their services, I am writing this review on behalf of my wife. We contacted Southwest Pest Control specifically for a problem with wasps and ants. The individual who came by was friendly, clean and professional. My wife was very happy with their work. One week later so far, so good. No sign of either ants or wasps. The cost was $125 which seemed to be significantly better than other companies we researched. Will use again.

Provider arrived as scheduled. He removed two wasps nests on the eaves of my house. Spayed the inside of the house for ants which is the original reason I called them. He was professional and courteous. This is the second year I've used them and plan on using them again.

It was our first time using the company and everything went perfectly. They gave us a time frame when they would come out and they came when they said they would. One technician came out and competed the job in about 30 minutes. He was very polite and had all of the right equipment handy. He was happy to explain that they could come back out for follow up work if we needed at a cheaper fee. I had no difficulty contacting the company or scheduling the service. They came out the day after I called.

I noticed a whispery, rustling sound coming from the attic, which I suspected was a bunch of wasps. I contacted Southwest Pest Control via email at 7:30 AM, and they called back at 9 AM to set up a time to come out (which was between 1 and 4 that afternoon). Bob arrived at 3 PM, inspected the attic, and said he couldn't see any wasps, but that he thought that was the source. He went up on the roof and found yellow jackets flying around the eaves. At that point he asked if I wanted him to spray pesticide in the attic for $125, and I agreed. He sprayed the attic from the outside and also sprayed the perimeter of the house as a precaution. (Incidentally, this killed a bunch of ants near my front porch, which I didn't know were living there.) He said if I still saw the insects flying around or heard the sound from the attic after 7 to 10 days, he would come back to spray again. I haven't seen the yellow jackets or heard the sound, so I think the problem is taken care of. The reason for the "B" rating for professionalism is that he used my ladder to access the attic. I'm not sure if he had his own ladder, but I was surprised that I had to provide one. Also, when he was done with it, he just leaned the ladder against my living room wall instead of asking me where I would like it placed. The "B" for price is because I felt it was a little more expensive that I'd expect, especially if someone is using my ladder.

One man arrived in a small compact car and his equipment consisted of a liquid and a powder spray, he had no other tools. All he did was spray the hive and I did all the rest of the work myself, cutting the branch down from about eight feet high and depositing it into a garbage bag myself. He put the garbage bag in his trunk and diposed of it somewhere.

Quick response after leaving a voice mail asking to schedule an appointment. Thorough job. Good results.Will defintely use again as needed.

So far, it has been going well with them. They are doing a good job.

I called today to schedule them to come out this week. I have used the same guy for years, he is very professional, covers his shoes when he comes in, he is concerned about the safety of me and my dog with the chemicals he uses, and explains everything to me. I had a hornets nest in the landscaping of my house, they literally surrounded my house, I'm allergic to bees, called them at 5 pm on a Friday evening, he came out 30 minutes later, sprayed the entire outside, didn't charge me, and said to have a nice weekend. I believe he didn't charge me because I had used him so many years.
