I called Jim in the AM and explained that we needed quick a turn around to secure our building and assets. By early afternoon the work had been totally completed. Thanks Jim and Jim, will be sure to recommend you to anyone needing lock service.

We had already purchased the locks online, so we paid Jim to install the front lock and back lock. He saw my door knocker laying on the kitchen counter and asked if I wanted it installed as well. We can be finicky, and Jim was very patient with us and did a great job. Originally we were going to install the locks ourselves, but when the locks arrived, it seemed too complicated to do on our own. Glad we hired an expert.

Jim was fantastic. Great communication, highly responsive, extremely skilled and patient with requests and with the tasks. Although I used the coupon to start with the re-keying, Jim was willing to fix other lock issues and charge a very reasonable rate for those services. I had him come back again to fix the back door handles and rekey that lock. Definitely will call Reliable Lock & Safe for any and all locksmith needs in the future!

Reliable Lock & Safe was very punctual, showing up exactly when they told me they would. They quickly and professionally performed the service I had requested and ensured that all the keys they provided as part of the service worked in all the locks.

I called 11:30am; spoke to Jim and was able to have him come out that day. Jim told me he would be out about 3pm and said he would call 1/2 hour before coming. He called at 3:20pm and came out at 4pm that day; knew what I needed and since I had to go to work, my daughter finished with his visit. Before I left he asked all the questions necessary and was finished quickly! Would definitely use him again. Very polite!

Jim was a real pleasure to work with. I called him this morning and he was able to be at my house by 2:30 this afternoon. He was able to re-key five locks and then tightened some doors and adjusted some knobs to get the doors to close tighter. I highly recommend Jim and will use him for any future lock issues we have.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the work. Very reasonable pricing. Polite and professional workers. I received a call this morning, and Jim told me they had an opening in their schedule for today. They were at my house within the hour. The doors were drilled/cut/mitered, and then the locks were installed. Quick, professional work. The only thing that didn't go as planned was that he almost left with my key - an honest mistake, I'm sure. When I got my key, Jim made sure that the locks worked as expected before leaving. He even swept, vacuumed, and put all the floor mats back before leaving. As mentioned, I'm very satisfied with the work. They were both very polite and professional. I will definitely use them again if needed in the future.

They replaced the latches on the fixed panel of my front door. They did a great job and the door is no longer loose. They also did a couple of misc. projects. Overall, very friendly and great work. I think their pricing is very much inline with other locksmiths or maybe a bit better.

Contacted Reliable to replace all of the locks on our recently purchased foreclosure. Jim took a look at each door and made recommendations. We also had deck doors that "didn't close or lock" that we thought we were going to have to replace. Jim took a look at them and found out that the locks were actually very expensive and taught us how to properly close and lock the doors. That saved us a ton of money by not having to replace the doors that the bank told us were broken!

This was a great experience from the beginning. I had contacted them about 2 weeks prior to my needing to complete this. I originally called to get a quote and ask my questions but got voicemail and while leaving my message Jim had returned my call, so from there he gave me a quote and answered my questions and set up my appointment. On the morning of my appointment I received a call to let me know what time the technician would be here. The Tech, little Jim, showed upon time and I showed him what I needed done and proceed. He first rekeyed the 9 locks and then installed the deadbolt. After installing the deadbolt he cleaned up and vacuumed behind himself. The Little Jim did an excellent job, he asked me to check to make sure that all keys worked. I highly recommend this company as I will call them again if I need any locksmith services.

As mentioned above, the French door locking system was fixed and the door works like new. Jim also cleaned up the drill bits and took all waste.

Jim answered the phone and was able to set up an appointment time range with just a few days notice. Gave me a quote over the phone per service and it was exactly what we ended up paying! Day of service, he called my husband to let him know when he would arrive in the time range he gave us, and Jim was able to accommodate us when he got here as we realized we had one more deadbolt we needed drilled and installed. Very polite, quick, clean work. We appreciate the help getting us settled in our new home! Thanks! Would definitely recommend for any lock project, big or small.

I had Jim out a couple of weeks ago and I was so impressed by his work and professionalism I called him again. Jim installed a deadbolt lock in my front door. JIm had to drill the hole in the door, add the lock, and then rekey the the door knob lock so I could enter with just one key. Twice now Jim from Reliable Lock has done what he said for the price agreed over the phone. I have already referred Jim to neighbors. Thanks Jim!

I attempted to install a door lock and handle set I purchased at Lowe's only to realize I had no idea what I was doing. I decided to call a professional and I found Reliable Lock and Safe Co. here on Angie's List. I chose this company because it was located close to my home and had good reviews. Jim came out and installed my lock and handle set. I purchased the wrong type for my door but Jim was able to make it fit by drilling some new holes in the door. The lock and handle set looked great when he was done. It took him just under two hours to get the job done. I plan on having Jim come again in the future.

Jim & Jim were great. Evidently our new house has European locks, but they were able to rekey them all and show me how to work them very quickly. Clean , quick & professional.

I could not release the dead bolt on an exterior French door. Jim came out on Sat. and had to install a new dead bolt--the other was broken. This dead bolt has been a problem since we installed the door. I have had this company do work for me before and they were excellent.

They were amazing. I have never met more polite people that runs a business as theirs. I felt comfortable for them being in my home. Just being a pregnant women and home alone just reassured the safety of them being inside of my house. I believe they are a family owned business . I also want to note that I had called other providers that was more expensive and wouldn't be able to come for at least a week. When I found Reliable Lock and Safe they were able to come out the same day of me calling. They actually came out with in a hour of the call. We called the morning we needed them and set an appointment for later that afternoon. The other locksmith we called wouldn't agree to a specific appointment time, only a range, so this was great. The job was bigger than we initially identified and, because of my schedule, Jim only had to come out twice. He didn't charge me for the 2nd service charge and actually followed up with me to make sure that I scheduled a time to finish the job. I was highly satisfied with the work. I highly recommend!
