Steve had come out and gave us an estimate to have a heater for our new above ground pool put in. Steve showed up on the date and time he said he would for the estimate and his estimate was very reasonable. A few weeks later we decided to have Steve install the pool heater and a date and time was decided upon. Steve and his crew showed up on time and completed the job in an hour. Steve explained every step of the process and answered any questions that we had. He also provided us with useful tips for maintaining our swimming pool. We are very pleased with Steve's work and will use him again. We have also recommended him to a neighbor for the same type of work.

Steve Ellison came to our house to provide an estimate on the installation of a pool heater. He was pleasant, helpful and provided good tips on other aspects of our pool care. He also indicated that he was available pretty much any time to do the actual installation work. However, when we talked to him later that evening to set up the actual time for service, he was then only available on Saturdays and was dismissive and rude, saying things like "do you think you are the only people who want a pool heater installed?" when I indicated I was confused about my understanding that he was available any time. It was such a profound personality change that I actually questioned in my mind if I was even speaking to the same person who had been at our house earlier that day. I even asked him if something had happened while he was at our house as I had started the conversation in the yard and then had to take a phone call and my husband had finished off the discussion with him. I asked my husband if anything had happened after I left and he said, no, that Steve had left on a good note and that they had agreed my husband would call him back to set up a time.We were out of town the first Saturday he had available and then when I asked when his next availability was, he said it would be the following Saturday. When I said that I guessed we would have to find another installer as this two week delay was not going to work for us, he hung up on me. The only word for this interaction is "bizarre" but I am certainly glad that he is not doing the installation now.
