+ -1 moreEverything went great. Dennis recommended a color of finish that went great with the new paint scheme, the living room looks great. Everything was done just as he said it would be, in the time frame he promised. I would recommend his company to anyone looking for a great job. In fact another contractor doing other work saw the floor and asked for the name of the refinishing company. I was happy to pass it on.
Description of Work: repaired damaged sections of hardwood floor, removed section of floor for installation of different material, filled existing nail holes to blend carpet installers quick fix for squeaky floors. Refinished floor.

+ -1 moreShowed up on time each day of 3 day process. Kept us informed. First floor finisher that told us the truth about wood floors. For instance, sanding removes only the stain and finish. Basically floor can be sanded multiple times while others told us only twice. Only had to be out of house the day the stain was applied but had to stay off floor 3 days of refinishing and 5 days afterwards so sealer could fully harden. Advised to put felt pads on all furniture. Dennis was recommended by nephew and commercial business in hospitality service. Both had floor refinishing/repair with great results. We had water/sun and quot;damageand quot; by back door that other people told us would have to be replaced. Dennis sanded and it looked new. Dennis has 40 years of experience. He knows what he's talking about. As far as I know he gets jobs by word of mouth. Dust from refinishing was kept to a minimum. There was very little found on furniture. They cleaned up each day and at end of job. I would definitely recommend!
Description of Work: Sand and refinish oak floors that have not been refinished for 11 years. We have 2 large dogs. Flooring was about 800 sq ft. He also refinished the bottom step of our stairs that had wear from the dogs. Matched the color without removing carpet in center of stairs. Looks new.

+ -1 moreThe filler that they used fill in the cracks between the wood floor was coming up and I have gaps between my floors. He told me not to use a vacuum and that he will come out to to get the floors fixed. He never came out and I have called him several times and left him messages and never heard form him. The contracted states that he would apply 4 coats of poly-urethane and only applied 3 coats. He doesn't follow up with you if you have and problem and will not return your calls. He never called me back and came out to repair his mistakes. He totally ignores you if you have any problems.
Description of Work: We hired them to refinish my wood floors in my dining room and living.
