The work went well. The crew was polite and I was very comfortable with them working around my home. Jim, the owner was very communicative through the entire process, and helped with a lot of the finishing decisions. There were some delays in the project due to weather, some permit issues and the design changed during the project. Bluestone Solutions was accommodating and workable through the whole process. The bottom line is that I am thrilled with the patio. After considering pavers and other options, this natural stone, the masonry and the lighting that were part of the product created a terrific result. I would recommend Bluestone Solutions because of their fairness, and the craftsmanship they put into the project. With any outdoor project, weather can cause delays, and we experienced a few. The permitting process, at least in Arlington Heights can also add time to the project, but the beauty and livability of the natural stone makes it well worth it.

We had difficulties from the beginning. We couldn't get him to commit to what he was going to do and kept deviating from his plan. We had problems with getting workers to show up. The process took longer than it should've. The process should've taken about one month but ended up taking two and a half months. I had to hire a lawyer because the owner did not pay a supplier. He was supposed to come back and clean up the area but he either didn't show up or would show up late.
