The repairmen arrived on the specified date, did the work in a timely fashion, and cleaned up the area of all debris. They were very good overall and professional.

They had to come back, because there was something they didn't do right. They had to patch something which they didn't do right. They took 4 hours initially and then 1 hour. They are a good company.

They did a good job for a good price. I liked everything they did. Out of 4, they were the best price and they did a real good job.

Everything went really well. The price was great. The crew was neat, fast, capable and courteous. My only complaint would be that they told me I'd have to wait 4 weeks to be scheduled after my estimate. When 4 weeks went and they were getting ready to come do the work it turned out they did not have the permit ready. I had to wait another 2 and half weeks to get the work done. Over all though I am still happy and would use them again.

Great customer service. Brian Hoots came quickly with estimate. Met competition price. Brian very knowledgeable regarding material. Brought sample. Roofer came when expected. Great job. Cleaned up everything.

5 Man crew showed up as scheduled preformed work and cleaned up area in one day as promised foreman was polite and answered all my questions.

Apek came out, removed & installed new material in 3 days with no problems & installation was performed in a professional manner.

APEK Inc. installed a new roof on my mother's house. My experience was excellent from start to finish. To begin with, I live 250 miles from my mom's home. The estimator went out of his way to meet me at the house on a day when I could be there. There was no high pressure sales pitch, just a thorough explanation of the services and material to be provided. After I accepted APEK's bid, the very professional office staff kept me informed and made arrangements for an installation date. The crew showed up exactly when promised and completed the job in less than a day. The roof looked great and the clean up after was outstanding. This review probably reads like a commercial for APEK, but I am a real customer who appreciates dealing with a good company.

The buyers of our townhouse requested a roof vent for the bathroom fan. Apek is the preferred roofer of the association. Frank did the installation. He was prompt and courteous.

They were alright. They did a good job. The roof seems to be okay.

I got 3 quotes (4 if you count the guy that came by with a notepad and handed me the sheet of paper he was scribbling on) to repair damage done to my house from a hail storm. I needed the roof and gutters completely replaced and the North side of my house needed to have the siding replaced. I called APEK and they were able to come out right away to give me an estimate. Their estimate was by far the best and I already knew good things about them so they were a no-brainer to choose to do the repairs. They came out to do the repairs, and actually showed up when they said they would. The repairs were done in the time I was away at work for the day, with no sign that they were there, other than a new roof, gutters and siding. Many of my neighbors who used other companies had a terrible time getting the crews out there and had dead spots in their grass from the construction guys throwing shingles off the roof and letting them sit too long on the ground. I did find a couple of nails on the ground that had been missed but I called APEK up and they had a guy come right back out with a magnet or something and I never saw another nail. I left the color matching to APEK, for the most part and they did a terrific job with that as well. I honestly could not have been more please with the work they did and the price that they were able to do it for.

Jim Richards came out for the estimate. He was very prompt and courteous. Told us that it was not immediate that we needed a new roof. We decided to go with it so that we would not have any other damage from waiting another year. This was our third estimate. We felt very comfortable with Jim and he was also in the neighbofhood. Work was done on time and when it was done we received many compliments from nieghbors.I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a new roof or repairs. Very honest and fair.

The supervisor came out and gave me an estimate. He was extremely knowledgable and friendly. Since I had wind damage to my roof, he was able to fit me in right away to prevent any further damage to my house. When the actual roofers came, they were on time and were careful to not damage my landscaping. Once they were finished, you couldn't even tell they were there. They did a fantastic job cleaning up after the job and moving everything back into place. This is a fantastic company and a pleasure to do business with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof.

The new roof was don just as I wanted, his crew, said it took longer than they expected. They did an excellent job, answered all my questions, and cleaned up very well.

TIt well fantastic. they were at our home around 730am to start the job. They had 4 men working on our roof. They first started by removing the old shingles and then they cleaned the roof to check to see if any plywood needed to be replaced. They found we needed to replaced 8 pieces of plywood. Then they started to put the new roof down. Which they started at 1230pm. They finished putting the new roof on by 250pm. Then they started to clean up the yard and our deck and all around the house. All in All I would give this company a big WOO HOO for a great job and it was done in one day. We even had a neighbor 2 doors down now going to give them a call about his roof. Thanks APEK for a great job.

I had some shingles torn off our roof due to some recent wind damage. I found Apek Roofing at the Home Show in Tinley Park. There I spoke with Jim, the owner, who is a really nice guy and easy to deal with. He had Brian out to our house the very next day and he showed up at exactly the time he was scheduled to be there. Brian was VERY knowledgeable & VERY thorough. He inspected the entire roof, not just the damaged areas, and pointed out several other issues that I was unaware of, such as: lots of popped-up nail heads, caulking that need to be done, other loose shingles and a previous repair that was done improperly by another company. He even took pictures! After Brian explained everything that they would do, I was more than comfortable giving Apek the OK to do the work. Brian scheduled Frank to come out the next day. Frank arrived exactly when he was scheduled to. He was very proffessional and went over with me everything he was going to do. He even had full size pictures with him that Brian had taken the day before! Frank did a very thorough job and even matched the missing shingles perfectly. He was clean & neat and the roof looks better than ever! I called Jim a few days later to personally thank him. My call was answered quickly & friendly and after explaining the purpose of my call I was connected to Jim (how many companies can you call now-a-days and talk directly to the owner). My experience with Apek Roofing has been 100% positive, and they now have a customer for life! They have earned my trust and I am more than comfortable refering them to anyone we know!

Went very well all aspects from start to end

Work commenced on exact date promised at time of acceptance of order. All work was performed in a completely professional manner and premises left in perfect order with all debris picked up and properly disposed of. Completed project looks great. A high quality job done at a very competitive price.

Frank reviewed the scheduled work and completed the scheduled work. He also reviewed the work that was completed.

They came on time had a dumpster put the new roof on. I had to leave family emergency. They started around a little after 7 and were done by I think they called me about 2 telling the job was finished. My neighbor stated that they cleaned up nicely when they were done. Was a little worried some of tiles did not lay flat. One of the workers stated when they were done it would. It rained the next day no leak as far as I could tell and the tiles look flat as he stated. So far I am happy and would use them again.

The project went very well. The initial assessment and discussion with Brian Ronan helped clarify some of the variables in roofing materials and application. He was patient, a good listener and communicator. All work was done as bid. There were a few special needs that were addressed: extra vents were added to the house and an old TV antenna was removed. The opening was covered and sealed. Wires to the antenna were cut and removed. The cost of this project was perfect for my aunt, who is a senior. It was a quality job, well within her budget, especially in a home she might not inhabit for the entirety of the 15-year (?) warranty on materials. One factor in cost containment is using locally-manufactured shingles by IKO, which I assume reduces transportation and advertising costs. The crew worked very hard during one of the hottest days of the fall. Their workmanship was excellent, and the roof looks great. One bonus for my aunt is the color of the shingles. She was firmly interested in a red roof. IKO offered that color in a nice, textured mix of tones. It's red, as she wished, but it doesn't scream "poppy," as Brian the estimator said. We had a number of contacts with the office and with Brian, who personally delivered the shingle samples. The calls had to do with scheduling around weather and my aunt's commitments, along with one question on vapor barrier application. The women in the office and Brian were very responsive and clear, always happy to accommodate. One added note: the team handled its vehicles on a narrow, but busy, residential street very well. They successfully avoided tying up traffic. One small issue for my aunt was waiting several days to have the dumpster removed from the driveway. After a phone call, it was taken care of. Overall, it was a minor inconvenience in the scope of a big project for her. Her neighbors are impressed and have asked for the name of the company.

We had (3) estimates and we decided to go with another vendor. Worked with us on installing roof. Seemed like another option for us but we went with another roofing company.

Rep came out and went on roof, inside the house to look at roof from inside where it was leaking. All other companies did not even get on roof. The quote was given right away and scheduling occured the following day. worker came out timely very professional and was done in time frame indicated. given was very reasonable and I think some vendors did not want to do job as their quotes were way too high .

We were pleased with the entire procedure in dealing with APEC, from the first contact with Brian, the courtesy calls from the office, to the crew arriving on time and finishing the job in one day. After just about one week, we have had some rain, a little wind, all appears to be very well done, albeit, I am 100% sure that if there was a problem APEC would be here fast. That is the confidence that I have in dealing with them.
