Estimate mater professional. Office staff (Lee) very helpful. Called do came week early finished house in one day. Cleaned thoroughly. Pleasant staff. Did have to wait month, but they sure very busy. Had done mother in now house years before.

They did a great job. They were professional. It was a lot of older people, they did their job, and they weren't sitting on my lawn smoking like I've seen with the people my neighbors have hired. They cleaned up and left. They just did a really good job. There were couple of thing that they had to come back to fix with the trim that was a little bit off but I think they completed it in one day which is kind nice instead of driving in and out. They did come back and fix it so really I don't have anything.

They were good. I didn't have any problems with them. Everything went as scheduled. I would use them again in the future

The roof was leaking this past month and they came out to fix the problem. They have great customer service and they always follow up. They are on time for the appointments and always call back if you leave a voicemail.

APEK promptly met and provided an final estimate for damaged (wind) roof. I was impressed with how quickly they provided a written quote. However, once discussion with Insurance on whether part or whole section of roof or part to be replaced, communications stalled and it took a few weeks to come to the conclusion, that I would need to work with insurance offline after the work was completed so I didn't have to risk any further damage with delays in case of the tarp leaking. During that time, APEK was slow to respond, but most of the blame I put on insurance company, even though APEK could have provided better detail in their quotes (such as separating material and labor charges.) , so overall responsiveness I give them a B+. I give the workers who arrived to do the work an A, as they were punctual, professional, and the roof looks great. It took a little longer than the projected 3 hours (actually 6+) but it was extremely HOT that day. The price seemed competitive and fair. So all in all I am happy and would recommend their services and have provided an overall grade as A.

I received several quotes from different companies & decided to go with APEK Inc. because of price, Angie's List reviews & neighbor recommendation. Plus they accepted the 10% discount coupon that was available on the Angie's List website. When Jim & Chris came out to give me a quote they were very professional. I felt very comfortable with them and trusting of them. They explained everything that would be done & provided me with copies of company documentation like license, liability insurance, and lien waiver. My communications with the office staff was also very professional. The shingle color samples are small & I was undecided about what color to choose. The office provided me with addresses of homes in my area that had roofs the colors I was considering so that I could drive by & see the actual finished product. That was very helpful & I am very happy with my choice. I was given a date when the work would be performed, but surprise - they were able to install the roof a week & a half earlier than promised! I was not at home on the day of installation but when I returned home, the roof was complete and the area around my home was cleaned up as per their contract. At that time, I noticed that the outbuilding had not been done. I called the office to see what happened. I didn't know if they had run out of time or if there was a problem. Lee in the office was very courteous and checked on the matter right away. Turned out it was just a miscommunication. APEK apologized and admitted their error. The outbuilding was reroofed within four days of my call. Again, everything was completed before I returned home and again to my satisfaction. I am very happy with my dealing with APEK Inc. and would recommend them highly.

Repair man was on time. Repair took 2 hours. New shingles match old ones exactly.

It was great. I am a single mom on a tight budget, so I interviewed at least 4-5 different roofing contractors before picking APEK, Inc. based on the quality of work they promised, and the price range I was given. The owner, Jim Richards, came out and reviewed with me what I needed done to my house and how they would do it. They came when they said they would, did all the work in one day and cleaned everything up. You wouldn't even know they were there, except that now my house looks brand new!! Their quote was within my budget and there were no additional charges. They were such nice people to work with.

Worked with Jim Richards, I believe he is the owner. He was very professional and knew everything about the product and services he was providing. He answered all my questions and gave me some information on things that I did not know were also applicable to the job we were having done. He did not try to sell us anything that was not needed to do an excellent job. His crew cleaned up the area around our house, removing roofing nails and old shingle pieces, etc. This was a concern for us since we have a small dog that plays in the backyard. There was not a nail or piece of litter to be found on our property after the job was completed. Job was done in one day and on the date scheduled. We had gotten quotes from $7,600 (APEK) up to and including $9,800 for the same job, same materials to be used. Having never replaced a roof before, we reviewed what to ask for in "CHECKBOOK" magazine before getting quotes for the roofing job. Not only did Jim Richards - APEK provide satisfactory answers to all those questions but, he actually provided the notarized "Final Waiver Of Lien and Contractors' Affidavit" that CHECKBOOK Magazine recommended you get from the contractor. We didn't even have to ask for the Affidavit, Mr. Richards informed us that it was a part of the paperwork we would receive upon completion of the job. We have had work done on our home before and never once was an Affidavit provided. APEK provided a professional estimate for the job and there were no "Surprise" additional charges once the job was complete. He quoted $7,600, we paid $7,600. VERY SATISFIED. I have since recommended APEK to my sister-in-law for a siding replacement job on her home and just saw that work today. Again, he did a beautiful job. I would definitely recommend his company/services to anyone.

The job went extremely well! Perfect! - Representative gave complete actual estimate - held to sales figure reported - NO UNSUSPECTED ADD-ONs or surprises at time of payment. Team who performed work were very knowledgeable, courteous and punctual (true "masters" of the work they performed ). I was extremely happy with every aspect of the entire situation/installation. The very next day, both of my neighbors (adjoining my property) stopped me to say how " awesome" my house looked (without my asking). Almost couldn't make it out of my driveway, sooooo many people stopped me! Neighbors to the west promptly asked me for the name and address of the company I used. They started mentally choosing colors for their own home. Actually, while my home was still in progress, when they saw what professional work was being done, they couldn't even wait / asked the installers who to call! I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Apek, Inc. to family members, friends (already have) neighbors, etc. - The job was supurbly performed to my expectations, quality of siding was perfect, staff was friendly - ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WENT BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS. Apek does install roofs, so you know who I will be contacting when I need a new roof - APEK, Inc - NO QUESTIONS ABOUT THAT!!!

Work crew started early and worked all day for two days. Work was completed on time and all concerns were addressed.

After a couple of weeks of weather related delays the project started in very hot weather. The extremely hot weather probably slowed the project completion by 1 day. The old gutters and downspouts were removed, and new ones installed. The workers were very competent and did the job in a professional manner. The shed was prepped and then covered with vinyl siding. The shed looks 100% better with the new siding. The shed doors were covered also, but there were nails protruding thru the inside of the doors. Two new vents were added to the house roof were the original builder did not vent the space. This has improved the air circulation and made the room cooler. The cleanup of the property was clean although I did find a few nails and other debris in the various work areas. None of the shrubs or other objects on the property were damaged. Overall Apek was one of the better experiences I have had with a company providing services to my 25 year old home..

The weather was very hot so the workers began at 7 A.M. They torn off the existing roofs and placed the shingles in their dump truck. They cleaned and then placed a granulated ice and water shield at the gutter;s edge. A 15 pound water vapor barrier was applied on the exposed wood decking of the building and then the new roofs were installed. They did a very good job.

Returned call to setup appointment within a few hours. John the estimator showed up when promised. He was pleasant and easy to deal with. I decided to go with their estimate. They required half of the estimate to be paid at that time. Estimate was on 6/18. At that time John said the job would be performed in about 2 weeks. Received a call on 7/2 stating that work is scheduled for Tuesday 7/9 depending on weather. Received another call on Monday 7/8 stating that that due to weather they would be there Wednesday 7/10. On Wednesday 7/10 after 3PM no showed up and no one called. I called Apex and asked if they were showing up today. They put me on hold then came back and said the job they were on that day took longer then they expected and would be out the next morning. I said it would have been nice if they called me earlier instead wasting my entire day waiting for someone to show up. The next day one guy came out about 8:45 am. He estimated the job would take 2-3 hours. At 12:30 pm I had leave for an appointment previously scheduled for that day. He had at least another hour of work to do. I didn't feel comfortable leaving the one worker there by himself but I had no choice. What if he had an accident working on a two story house with no one around to help. Most of the work was performed on a ladder. During the estimate John stated that the job would be performed by a crew of two. The finished job was done well and to my satisfaction.

They did great. They were wonderful. They actually sent a guy out in like hours. I had called and he had the guy out in like two hours, showed up. I was really impressed because it was from a different city. It was really great. The young man was really, really nice. He went and checked all my gutters, he fixed, he found out what was clogging it up, it turns out the guys who installed the gutters left a glove up there and it clogged up the drain. A couple of them were not slanted right so he re-drilled them. He did a great job, great job. They are quick, they are fast. They did a great job.

The estimator, Brian, was very impressive. He took time to inspect the damage on the roof. He also attempted to assess the damage from the attic. Brian was the only contractor that inquired about the damage as it relates to the attic. As a result, I believed Apek would provide the most complete repair. I returned the contract and $600 as required on May xx, . Apek immediately deposited my check (the check cleared the banks /xx/. I contacted Apek to inquire about the date of service. I was told they were very busy with all the rain ( my repair was needed because of rain), and I would be called soon with a date. The next contact was to schedule the repair for June 21. This was more than 3 weeks after receipt of my contract and deposit. On June 20, I received a call stating they were not able to secure the required permit from the village timely, so the repair date was postponed until July 1 (I was in travel status during the last week of June). While in Florida, I received another call stating due to more rain, they ware behind schedule and need to come out on July 2 instead. Again, due to rain, my work was postponed until July 3. The work was completed on July 3. I did not climb on the roof to inspect the job. On July 8, upon lowering the garage door, I noticed sunlight in the garage. THIS WAS NEW! Now I climbed on the ladder to look at the roof. I now have an opening in the roof large enough for a small raccoon to enter. I took pictures of the opening, I called Apek, left a voice message, and I sent an email with the picture attached. I called again on July 9 and was told they would schedule a return visit to complete the job. Today is July 11. The repair hasn't been scheduled yet.

Their service was excellent. It was on a warranty service. They checked out everything and were very cordial and honest. They were on time and if we had any questions they answered them. They're a good company.

I have used Angie's list now for the last few years and we have another winner here with Apex. I called Apex and had wonderful responses from Justin Miller and Irene. I needed siding repaired from a recent storm and they came out and repair it quickly; we don't even notice that it was repaired, perfect color match. I also had them repair our roof as a previous roofer repaired our roof and did not match the shingle color. Justin Miller scheduled the replacement of our shingles quickly as we are selling our home, he managed this during their busiest time, spring. Justin came out in person on the date we were scheduled for install. He explained that it would not be good to do the install based on the weather forecast. He was spot on as we had high winds and rain later that day. I've never had a contractor come out to follow up like that. Normally they just don't show up and just show up on a different day. They rescheduled me for the next day and the roof looks perfect. I also asked Justin for a report to use for the sale of our home since they also inspected the roof. They took pictures and sent a report that we used. If we weren't moving we would use them again in a second so feel confident in using. Thanks Justin and Irene!

Apek did a great job, Our home looks beautiful! we did a combination of Lap and shake siding with a belly band around to split it up. Juan was in charge of it all on site and he and his men are all very nice and polite, and hard workers. Juan has a great eye and makes sure the outcome looks fantastic. He is great at what he does. He was the one who decided where the Belly band should go and he picked it just right! and helped with some other design details on the home. He was very concerned the the job get done correctly. we have a 130 year old home and it has it's faults, but Juan made sure the siding was put on correctly and looks great. I can't say enough about how great it looks. All the neighbors walking by comment on how big of a change it is and how nice the home looks now. Jim is the owner and was great too... He really cares about the final product and stopped by several times just to check in. The estimate was very good, and lower then other quotes we received. The contract was clear about any possible additional charges that could come up and the final price was right in line with what we agreed to. Lee at the office is really nice as well and always pleasant and very informative and kept us int he loop with scheduling. Thanks Apek!!

I got three estimates and I felt their estimate was reasonably priced. I was actually referred by somebody who had their roofing done through them, and so I had a good experience and that could probably be because of personal reference.

Apek Inc was good, he arrived on time at the time he said he would be there, he gave me the estimate on site, he told me what needed to be done immediately. They are reputable and I would have used them if I hadn't gotten someone else.

They went above and beyond the estimate, the roof looks great, and I would recommend them highly. we didn't have to worry about anything, they took care of everything. We are very highly satisfied with Apek. Our village inspector came out and it passed inspection easily. They came when they said that they would be there, and called to let us know what time they would be here. This is a fine company to do business with and we are very happy with the work. Everything went smoothly.
