Tom was Excellent! We had been looking for a landscaping company for awhile and was having trouble getting companies to get back to us after they had come over to see what we needed done. Tom came out and got back to us very promptly with some design ideas. He took the time to listen to what we wanted and was very accommodating when we requested changes. I would highly recommend him. When we have more things to be done next year we are definitely going to be giving him a call to come back. After the work was completed and I arrived home from work, I was only home for about 5 minutes before I had a neighbor come on over and compliment us on the work that he had done.

This is the first lawn and landscaping company we've used and we'll definitely stay with them. During the initial two visits, the owner, Tom, provided us with a detailed plan what we could do with the wild yard. He made very good suggestions without being pushy in any way - one noticed he knows the stuff and is ready to do the best. Later we received the estimate per his online portal. Pricing is competitive. They performed two days of work so far and proved to be very impressive. The crew was punctual, skilled, hard-working and very detail-oriented. They were willing to go the extra length to make things best they could turn out to be such as tackling the sprawling and disarrayed tree roots. Tom was very patient throughout the process, especially with our late and on-site changes. He sourced really nice plant materials. Also to note, the clean-up on both days was wonderful. We didn't have to go out for anything after they left, which is always a pleasure. We still have another project with them to come and are very glad that we went with Willow Glen in the first place: highly surely recommend for their great work quality, professionalism and customer focus.

Excellent work. Chose Tom's company due to Angie's List feedback. Will definitely recommend and use again. Tom came out the very day I contacted him for my estimate. He was very straightforward and told me the approximate price, but told me he would verify using Google Earth maps to sketch out the linear feet of bedding to be fair to us both. Price came in right on target. He's not the cheapest, but he does the work himself with his crew. WELL worth the (very small) incremental price due to quality and the fact he loves his work - and it shows. He also told me he was 7-10 days out before he could start, which I appreciated. Either due to a miscommunication on my end or an misunderstanding in general, there was about 10 ft2 of area not mulched - arguably because it looks like it's my neighbor's yard. I requested that he return and square that up - and I have no doubt that he will. If you need yard maintenance of any kind - I strongly encourage that you check with Tom. I am already formulating my list of projects! Great service, great company.

I had 3 estimates for the yard work . Tom from Willow Glen Lawn and Landscape was the quickest to come out and give me an estimate. He also gave me the best price for the work to be done. Tom gave several days notice ahead of time when he would be out to do the work. Tom and his crew did an excellent job on all the work that was done on my yard. I would definitely have Tom do any landscaping work I needed in the future.

I had reached out to 3 providers on Angie's list, requesting an estimate and that the work be completed within 2 weeks. 2 providers replied promptly, but were unavailable to do the work within the requested time period. Another provider I had used previously had provided me with a quote that seemed really high. Willow Glen came out the next day to look at the property and promptly provided me with an estimate which I found very reasonable. I gave approval to move forward and they had people out within the week to do the work. They were prompt, thorough, and left the yard looking really great! I plan to contact them again for regular service after I move to my new home.

Willow Glen is a great company! They return calls quickly and do a fantastic job. My lawn never looked better!

I am a VERY discerning customer and have high expectations and Tom and his team of employees exceeded all of my expectations. First, Tom was quick to get back to me, was quick to come out for an estimate and even though he was busy worked in a large part of the work before the install date for the play set. They did amazing work, showed great professionalism, came in at a great price and they now have me as a customer for life! And, he is a super nice guy! I will recommend them to everyone I know and plan on having them do more work and bigger job next spring. So glad for AngieList in helping me find Tom and Willow Glen!

This was done last year and I don't have the best memory. However, I do know they did a good job that made my yard look much better after some years of minimum attention. And I called them back this spring for a quote to do somemore work.

My service will start in 2014. I am completely satisfied with my relationship at this point. All my questions and concerns were answered and addressed. All this information was provided by site visit with the firms owner. I look forward to a long term relationship.

We asked for bidding for landscaping work, too. It was very good. They did a great job. When I called, he promptly came out here for an estimate. He sent over a drawing and an estimate for the landscaping work the following day. He was really flexible when we just wanted to do part of the work that he had bid on. He was very accommodating on our schedule and got it done really quickly so it was great.

They go above and beyond the call of duty and are always willing to help out in anyway possible. I recently moved to the Plainfield, IL area and I was in need of a quality Lawn Service Provider. I'm so happy that I came across Willow Glen when I did a search on Angie's List and I have to say that they didn't disappoint. I'll continue to use Willow Glen as long as I live in the area. They were fantastic....any special requests were handled with one phone call or an email....the owner Tom was always professional and responsive. This was our first season with them but will use them again next season for sure!!!

His system allows me to communicate with him after work hours and get the business agreement refined and aligned in the evening. We planned a specific day to do the work, and they were able to deliver a day earlier. Great professionalism and high quality work on all of the elements we contracted. I have had several different landscapers, however now that I have found Willow Glen, I have no reason to look elsewhere. He not only can do the service but understands what is needed and why. Knowledgable says it all.

Tom did a great job in meeting with us and suggesting a landscape redesign of our existing landscape and repairs as needed. He came to our home and noted what landscaping existed and asked us many questions about what we liked. Tom then presented us with his plan and explained why he suggested what plants he did and changes. I was very pleased with his suggestions. Tom told us when he would start the work and when it would be completed and he was at my home when he was supposed to be and completed the work before the proposed completion date. I then asked Tom about the condition of our lawn which we had not been happy with for a couple of years. Within two months Tom had brought our lawn to being green and full again even though last summer was so dry. We then had Tom come back in the fall to complete a fall clean up of the landscape and plant some fall plants. Tom then called again in November to make sure we were happy with everything and ask if we needed anything further before winter. Great follow up. I look forward to having Willow Glen back again this year to give full service to our lawn and landscape needs.

We had Willow Glen handle our lawn care this year for the first time. We are very happy with the service. Prior to starting their services I spoke directly with Tom at Willow Glen about our lawn and the services they would provide. Tom has been very responsive to any question that we've had along the way and the team working on our lawn has done a great job for us. We are very pleased with the service overall and would highly recommend Willow Glen.

Tom came out (exactly when agreed to) and spent plenty of time with us walking around the house discussing what we wanted. He offered many suggestions when asked, but was not at all pushy about getting us to do stuff. Most if not all of his suggestions were great and ones we incorporated. Once done he promptly provided us an email quote recaping item by item all we spoke of and pricing by line item. We were able to accept the quote online, and lawn service started promptly that week. The lanscaping he had told us would be a few weeks to work into schedule. But he put us in the schedule even before we accepted quote, and confirmed to us that they would do the lanscape work starting on a specific day about three weeks away. Prior to that day, we had some additional ideas and Tom was very patient about coming back out to visit with us one more time and review everything in detail once again. During this visit he marked the desired edges for the beds and we confirmed what we wanted where. I think we added more flowers and a small tree at this point as well. Again, an updated quaote was confrimed within hours, and the work was done the following wee as promised. We could not be more satiosfied with the results! It all looks great, better than we had hoped. We look forward to working with Tom and Willow Glen to do more with the landscaping this fall and next spring. I should mention that the lawn care and maintenance has been exactly on schedule everyweek and the results of that look great as well. Lawn needed the weed kill and it was very effective. The mowing trimming has been done very well also. Happy clients!

They had a lot of good reviews on Angie's List, that was the main thing and plus they were nearby.

They were very good, we never had any complaints and would use this company again if I needed their services. They were very good getting back to my phone calls and were very friendly and took good care of our property.

They are okay, we had some trouble getting what we needed done completed. We had asked them to postpone something, and they went ahead and did it. That cost us more money, but they let us pay in two installments.
