Everything went perfectly smooth. From the moment we met with U.S. Home Restoration Authority, there was total confidence instilled in our minds. From start to finish I would say they were extremely friendly, knowledgeable & professional. Also they were competitive, prompt & offered better warranties than others. This gave us peace of mind. Plus the fact that they used a better class of shingle & underlayment than the competitors sealed the deal for us. The final product looks amazing!!! I will happily recommend them to everyone I know for siding, roofing, gutter & windows.

From the very beginning they were very professional. From the first time they knocked on my door to job completion we were totally happy. Scott and Kevin handled everything from explaining calling to make the claim, to actually meeting with the insurance adjuster. We picked our siding and gutter colors and that was all we had to do. Everyone we dealt with from start to finish were very nice and professional. They delivered on time when they said they would and finished in one day. The quality of the siding materials and their insulation before installing the siding is top grade. The crews cleaned everything up before they left and took all the old siding with them. We were very fortunate to have such an outstanding company take care of our home. Four of our neighbors saw what a great job they did and used US Home Restoration Authority for their homes. I have to say our street looks very nice. I would highly recommend Scott and Kevin for all your construction needs, they are great!!

When i first met Kevin and Scott the were very professional in the nature of there business. We went over the swatches of colors for the siding and roof and was informed of free insulation for the siding would be added. After a few days of deciding on which colors we were going to use we called Kevin and and in a few hours we were signing a contract for the work to be completed. When the roofing crew came (we had a 33 square roof) there were 8 workers who started to remove my old roofing very quickly and neatly, leaving one person on the ground to pick up trash debris. In about 2 hours half my roof was removed then they split onto both sides with one crew removing and one crew applying my new shingles. When other side was removed they started installing shingles on that side and in one day our roof was complete with no problems. The next day the siding crew arrived and asked us to remove furnishings from the inside walls as to not have any damage from the pounding of the nails. My siding was installed in the very same day and much to my liking with no complaints. Gutters and fascia was next and was installed very professional as all the other work was done also. I have to say i am completely happy with the job Kevin and Scott had there crews do for me and i would recommend using them again in the future or to anyone else looking to have home remodeling done in the future.

When i first met Kevin, he was very professional in the nature of his business. We went over color swatches for my roof and siding then i was informed i would get free insulation added to my work order. After a few days of deciding on which colors we wanted to use for the finish product on our house we called Kevin and with in a few hours Kevin and Scott were at our house and we were signing a contract for the work to be completed. Upon arrival of the siding crew we were informed to remove all of our wall hangings in case of them being knocked off the wall from the hammering of the siding crew. The siding crew installed our siding in a professional and timely manner and it looked beautiful and we could not be happier. When the roofing crew came (we had a 33 square roof), about 8 workers showed up and started to remove my old roofing very quickly and neatly leaving one crewman on the ground to pick up trash and debris that fell to the ground. In about 2 hours one side of the roof was removed and half of the crew went on to remove the rest of the roof while the others started to install our new roof. When the other side was removed they split into two crews one on each side and quickly installed our new roof within hours of starting. We were amazed at how professionally done our roof was in one day. The next day the gutter installers arrived and within a few hours we had new gutters installed along with fascia. I have to say i was completely impressed and happy that this remodeling to our house was done very quickly and professionally done with no complaints what so ever on our part of the work performed or from the crews that did the work. I am 100% sure that if i ever have any other work that needs to be done to our home in we will call Kevin and Scott to complete our projects.

The work started within 48 hours of the inspection. We were told it would be a 2-3 day job. Surprisingly they were finished after the first day. The crew was professional, hard working and polite. They were also very tolerant of my large dog. Following the job, you couldn't tell I had had any work done. They left my yard free of debris. Scott had given me his number and told me to call if I had any issues and I had no complaints. We are considering roofing our home next year and based on the service US Home Restoration provided on this job, we won't hesitate to use them again.
Description of Work: We had some gutters replaced following the recent storms and heavy rain. US Home Restoration. I placed a call for an appointment and they were out to inspect the property within 48 hours. They identified a couple of problematic area in addition to the gutters we had called regarding.

It appears that US Home Restoration Authority (USHRA) hire sub-contractors and in our case they hired an outfit with a bunch of inexperienced individuals who admitted that this was their first roofing job. The roofing job took 3 whole days instead of day as promised by USHRA,, (due to the incompetency of the workers who took numerous cigarette breaks, several per day), and I have no confidence whether the rest of the roof has been installed properly; only time will tell what these novices have done. I hope and pray that my family's safety is not compromised due to the incompetent and lax work performed in installing the roof. I was admonished by the USHRA representatives on several occasions for observing the work because they claimed 'it made those workers feel conscious'. I suppose I had a right, obligation to make sure they were doing a good job on my home. These representative, supposedly professionals, were very eager to get the job and eager for us to sign the contract but became very hostile when I started pointing out the obvious, bad quality or substandard work that was being performed while watching them from a distance. I wish I would have known all this before and would seriously CAUTION anyone considering hiring these people.without making sure independent references are checked (not the ones provided by USHRA). They talk sweet before getting the business and are all over you but once they get paid they do not even answer their phones or return calls for days. ************************************************************************************************************************************************* Responded on Sept. 28, 2014: First off I DO NOT owe any money to this contractor; in fact I have a signed receipt from them indicating that I have paid them in full. I do not understand why they are still claiming I owe them money. I can provide a copy of the cancelled check as well. These contractors called me 3 weeks ago and left a voice mail asking me to change my rating to an ?A?. In exchange they offered to pay me $350 to get the fan repositioned. How can I give them an ?A? rating when they have done a lousy job and caused me so much headache? I did not want to change my rating so I did not respond to their calls. So they decided to respond here with accusations and fabrications. Are these contractors expecting a brand new house to work on? They are in business because of home owners like us. If everyone has new homes there would be no work, especially for such people who do not have their own crew and solely depend on sub-contractors. This contractor?s stock response for things/issues I pointed to him was ?the house is old? or ?it has been done right? without bothering to check whether the work performed was right or wrong. That is the mindset of these people ... it seems like either they do not want to make their sub-contractors do the re-work. As far as the fan goes, the hole (not 'whole' as these people have written) cannot be 4 ft wide ... no flashing can cover that big a hole; it is at best a foot and half to two feet and the fan I have did not get placed correctly over the opening in the roof when the new roof was installed. I DID NOT ask the fan to be moved 6 FEET away, simply asked them to have it repositioned properly . That meant moving it up and to the left by a mere 9 to 10 inches. So I leave it to the readers to figure out who is not telling the truth. I just asked them to get it corrected and they refused. They never offered to get an electrician to get it corrected as they indicate in their response. As far as the insulation and coil go, I PAID for ALL the work done on the house in FULL ..... none of it was done FREE as they are claiming. Most of the REPUTED siding contractors throw in FREE insulation. So their sales pitch and claim regarding their offer of FREE insulation is at best an EXAGGERATED one. We had 2 other houses down the street from us where their contractor gave them FREE insulation without charging them for it. As far as the screens go 9 out of a total of 11 screens on the house were damaged during the roofing job by his crew (from falling debris from the old roof being taken off) which they needed to fix. The roofing crew?s decision to use the deck to get to the roof (without my permission) resulted in damage to the deck though overuse. Naturally they had to fix what was damaged. The TRIM on the house was also paid for in full by me. It was rolled into the total cost of job which was settled when the FINAL payment was made to the contractor. The money they are claiming I owe them was a deduction from the total cost mutually agreed upon. They had built into the cost some work on the front of the house which they did not perform hence the deduction. (I showed them independent estimates I had received for work on the front of the house which far exceeded the amount they offered as a deduction.) Obviously they could not charge for the work they did not do hence they accepted the final check without any reservations and signed a receipt saying I had paid them in full. They did not do anything for FREE, perform any services for free. Contrary to their claim, they were never referred to me by anyone. I was just calling around and it was just my misfortune that I spoke to these people and gave them the job after all the hyped up glowing claims they made about their work. I had never embarked on work of this magnitude on my house and I made the mistake of not doing all my homework (on questions to ask ahead of time on the roof and siding, especially on the sub-contractors they were going to hire) before selecting a contractor. I should have known better .... I have a small house (1600 feet) and it took 3 full days to do the roof. I will let the readers be the judge. The GUTTER guy chosen by this contractor had the audacity to ask me why I did not let him work on my house when nobody was present in the house? Really?? I was watching work being done on MY house, work for which I was paying for and I was expected to just stay indoors and not watch or say anything ?? Really ?? I thought I was getting work done per my specifications but this contractor expects you to accept what has been done and not complain about it .... as if they were doing me a favor.
Description of Work: These people replaced the roof and siding on my house. The siding job was done well but then these people do not do the jobs themselves nor do they have their own people doing the jobs. They hire sub-contractors to do the jobs for them and the siding guy was pretty good. The roofing job was not done right and in a couple of instances I had to point out errors and get them rectified. The existing attic fan on the roof was not centered on the pre-existing opening made in the roof after they replaced my roof and they claimed that it was set the way it was earlier. They claim there is not enough lead on the fan wire to center the fan on the roof opening. I told them that I had sought the opinion of independent attic fan installers who came over to my house and told me that the fan wire was adequate and that the fan should have been centered during the re-installation. They still refused to set it right. The house now vibrates every time the fan comes on because the fan motor is resting against the roof. I would NEVER hire these people again for any job. The job was done by a bunch of apparently inexperienced workers for whom this was the first roof they had worked on. Today USHRA told me that they will not send anyone to fix the problem with the incorrect attic fan installation. The roof is under warranty for 5 years but they refused to do anything about it. Today I was told they did not care who I approached for recourse as the next step.

Response from US Home Restoration Authority Inc
Because we have been in the business for over 8 years, most of our clients were referred to us. [member name removed] was a referral as well. Yes we are general contractors using the same siding and roofing crews we have used for years. No issues and no problems at all! In fact, our professional crews have helped generate our referral based company. Regarding the fan issue. The fan was placed back exactly in its original spot prior to the new roof. Mr. [member name removed] called after roof was done complaining of a vibration. We then met with him to look at the fan placement form inside the attick. We had never been in the attick at this time. During the observation we found that the whole for the fan was a 4' oval. The fan that was installed only required a 1' circular cut. When the fan was placed in position it only had 1" of play in the wiring. This made any repositioning of the fan impossible without moving electrical box. Mr. [member name removed] wanted the fan repositioned 6' from its original spot. He kept insisting that we pay to have the fan moved properly. We explained any different positioning of the fan would require an electrician and moving the electrical box. We offered to get an electrician involved and he would only be obligated to pay whatever our cost was for the electrician. Mr. [member name removed] refused and demanded we pay for the cost. First of all, Mr. [member name removed] has attempted to extort money from us at every opportunity. Today he still owes us the balance of his deductible of $557.00. We put 1/2" insulation on the entire outside of his house at no cost to him. We fixed all of his screens when only a few were covered on his insurance claim. We added coil to make his trim maintenance free on all 3 sides of his house at no cost to him and not covered on the claim. We bent over backwards for this customer and all he would do every day is badger our crews. All three teams we had to beg to finish the job. Not one would return to do work for him. I have been in professional sales since 1985 and I have never encountered such a customer. This man's house was a mess when we took on this project. 3 different colors of siding and a deck that today is unsafe. Its truly sad when you try to help people out and you and your crews get treated like this.

Great company to work with. I had hail damage and Kevin & Scott took care of everything I needed, all I had to do was call my insurance company and start a claim. They met with the insurance adjuster and handled everything. I am very happy with all the work and was glad they did the insulation for free. My house looks brand new. They were very professional and the workmanship is very high quality. I would highly recommend US Home Restoration Authority for any siding, gutters and roofing needs.
