The Grout Medic - West Southwest Chicagoland

I was thrilled with the cleanup of the bath tub and regrouting. Prior to the cleaning the tub was full of slime and scum, and just utterly disgusting to be in. After the technician’s cleaning, it was like new and no longer slippery. The cleaning of the tile was also excellent, leaving our bathroom to look like new. I couldn’t recommend this company and the quality and professionalism more. It truly feels like a bathroom remodel the way that the results came out.

We had our first floor tile and guest bathroom tile cleaned and regrouted by Mike and Colin. Both were prompt, professional and respectful of my home. Tile looks brand new! An amazing difference. Mike also gave me some good ideas on how to maintain and clean tile which I did not know. Great communication by the office staff. Highly recommend!

The day of appointment, received a call that tech was not available and they would call back to reschedule at a later date. Within 30 minutes we got a call that they would be able to do the job that day. Tech was here within a short time and completed job in a timely manner. Looks great. Would definitely hire again.

Hired them to repair grout in our bathrooms. In the upstairs bath they grouted the shower white and the floor the custom grey I ordered. Will not re grout the shower unless I pay for it. Insists that I asked for white grout in the shower after an entire conversation about how the tile is crooked and matching grout would hide it. House is going on the market with mismatched grout

Technician arrived promptly for estimate and service. He answered questions and gave me options. The work looks great.

They came out for an estimate, the person who came out was very nice, and was in and out quickly. We scheduled a date for the service during his visit, and I offered deposit, but he said with such a small job it was not necessary. Come the day of the appointment no one showed up. Of course not many of us are off of work at 8 am on a Monday, so I took personal time for the service call. I called and spoke with Jenny, who was nice and apologized for what happened. My issue is there was no accommodation made on their side for the mistake. They gave me one day and time during the same week that they had open and that was it. I asked for another day possibly, and I was told it was the one time offered or it would have to be the following week. This wasn't my mistake, I have an estimate with a scheduled date and time on it. Yet, I have to fit there schedule. You would think with such a small job, probably 2 hours at most, someone would be able to come and get it done when it worked for the customer. Especially considering I mentioned I had to take time off work for this. I'm sure they do good work, they are highly rated, and mistakes happen. My only advice is to make sure you confirm your appointment and don't rely on the estimator to relay the scheduling commitment. Otherwise you will be out 2 days of work, because they won't make any offer to help.
