Simply Clean

Getting information and choosing which service to use was easy using their website. Phone scheduling of the appointment went well...mostly. The date got mixed up, and the cleaning person didn't show up when expected. Turns out they scheduled me for the next day. That worked out fine in the end, as I was able to take the following day off work as well. The woman who cleaned the apartment was punctual the next day. She was friendly, professional and did and exceptional job cleaning my apartment. I say exceptional, because it was quite dirty (think of a bachelor's apartment belonging to someone who hates to clean regularly) and it looked fantastic when she was done. Aside from what was to me a minor scheduling glitch, I am very pleased overall. Admittedly, that scheduling glitch could have caused a major problem in different circumstances.

The provider advertises both on Angie's list and it's website that pricing is based on square footage and the service plan selected: "Since all of our clients care most about quality of work, we formulated a pricing plan to charge not by the hour (project based), but by the size (in square feet) of your home." However, this advertisement is false. I gave the provider my square footage and number of bathrooms and bedrooms of my home but the provider refused to give me a quote for any of their service plans. The provider demanded my address and detailed information about my living arrangements before even providing a quote. No other company asks for such details before providing an estimate, especially no company that prides itself on the fact that they price based solely on square footage and service plan selected. I would have been happy if they even could just provide a estimated cost range, but they did not. I have already called two other providers and received quotes. Will use one of them instead.

I wanted to kiss the cleaning lady when she was done. A great job! We needed a deeper clean and the Plan B did it. Our teenage boy's room was transformed into something remarkably clean. The kitchen was sparkling when she was done.

I can't say enough good things about Simply Clean! Ovis really went out of her way to get me squezzed in. Just in time for a birthday party. The cleaning crew was prompt...1 person was actually 20 mins early! they were here about 2.5-3hrs cleaning a scrubbing. Our whole house was so dirty from all the dust our contractors left behind. but when Simply Clean was finished, it was all gone! Thanks Ovis for really going the extra mile!

Wow! I must say I was thoroughly impressed! Our house looked like a million bucks! The communication was fast and very friendly! Ovis, the Scheduling Manager, addressed all of my questions and concerns. He provided excellent advice as to what I should expect the day of service. Victoria arrived on time and worked diligently, until the job was complete. I will definitely use the service again! Thanks!

This was my first time hiring someone to clean my house and, overall, I am satisfied with the service. The scheduling process was fast and I really appreciated the confirmation email sent shortly afterward. Dovela (sp?) arrived right on time and was very pleasant to work with. She cleaned my 1600 square foot house in a little over 4 hours. She did an excellent job of removing cat hair from my microfiber couches (not an easy task) and was very thorough in the kitchen. I'm rating quality a B due to a few things I noticed after she left. There was a thick layer of dust on the tile below my cast iron stove/fireplace (easily fixed with a Swiffer), the tile shower in my master was still pretty dirty (it's a real pain to keep clean but I assumed the deep clean service would include a more thorough job), and the ceiling fan in the master was untouched. I was able to fix these things in about 45 minutes so it wasn't worth calling to have her come back out. Outside of those few things, the rest of the house looks great. I will definitely hire them again if/when the need arises.

This was the worst cleaning job I'd ever seen. This was what we came home to (just off the top of my head): Ceiling fans--not touched Floors--streaks all over, dirt in corners Baseboards--dusty China cabinet in dining room--not dusted at all Shelves in family room--dusted, but only around the items on the shelves. Nothing moved. Stovetop and oven doors--cleaner all over them Top of refrigerator, upper cabinets in kitchen--not touched Shower tiles--clean until about halfway up, then not touched Corners of rooms--cobwebs Nightstands in bedroom: one dusted, one not touched She didn't clean anything that was higher than 5 feet up and the things she did clean, I had to redo. They offered to send someone back out to finish (start?) the job, but we were having the carpets cleaned the next day and then we were on the market. We had to do it all ourselves anyway. The owner was apologetic on the phone and agreed to refund me the money by returning my check. However, I still haven't received it (2 weeks after work was done).

Needed a house cleaner to do a deep house cleaning job to get my house ready for a showing. Simply Clean answered my call almost immediately and was able to schedule a cleaner to arrive within the week. They even offered to send someone earlier if I needed it. Oksana was the lady assigned to clean our 3 bedroom house and she arrived at 8 am and did not leave until 4 p.m. She couldn't have been better. I had some boxes stacked in the hallway and although I said that I'd move them so that she could do the floor mopping, she moved them herself and even took them out to the garage and stacked them neatly out of the way. She also cleaned the windows inside and out (once I showed her how they could be detached), dusted all the woodwork and light fixtures and even scrubbed out our recycling bins. I was so pleased that by the end of the cleaning, I actually called up Simply Clean to add a tip to the total.

She was awesome and we could not be happier. We needed to prep the house for a renter but were still living there at the time and she did just a wonderful job

The person who answered the phone was friendly and accommodating when I called to schedule my appointment. Diana was the cleaner assigned, and she arrived right on time. I showed her what needed doing and she got down to it. She worked diligently for nearly five hours, scrubbing two filthy bathrooms, washing floors, blinds and two sliding glass doors. She even wiped down the dust-covered furnace and water heater in a small utility room. The stove/oven had evidently never been cleaned. Diana did a great job at removing the brown crud that had built up. I would use their service again.

Sigita's work was exceptional. She worked very hard for 8.5 hours and my home truly shined when she was done. I also signed up for bi-weekly cleaning, which will begin Monday 6/23, and I am very much looking forward to it!

Great job. House had not been thoroughly cleaned in more than a year. Even cleaned the sliding glass doors.

I paid for a deal stated as "deep clean" for $350. I did not feel that the service was up to what was advertised. The ad stated it is their most detailed cleaning which realtors use for all the "nooks and crannies." I felt it was the next lower cleaning service being offered. To begin, two girls showed up 15 minutes late. They were very nice and tried to understand what my needs were. I expected to show them around the house, but being a "deep clean" I did not expect to have to say what I wanted cleaned. Being busy (which is why I hired them) I did not inspect the home in detail when they finished. This is my fault since I should have known when they said they where finished a 4000 sq. ft. home in 4 hours. I did not expect to find my areas not cleaned such as fans, kitchen counters, etc. especially for a "deep clean." But what really bothered me was they did not tell me they damaged a shelf in an upstairs bathroom and scoured the color off of all the knobs on my stovetop. Accidents happen, but I should at least be informed. I contacted their manager who sent out a new girl to finish cleaning the home to better standards. The second girl was much better and even commented how poor a job the other two did. The shelf I let go, but requested the stove knobs be replaced. After sending in pictures to the managers boss, I received a check (I had to look up the price of replacing the knobs) when the second girl arrived with an apology. I appreciated that. My overall perception of this company is they are growing and haven't found an excellent cleaning staff yet. If the second girl was part of the first crew to arrive at my house my review would probably be much different. They did come back to fix what was wrong and did a much better job the second time. They honored our agreement. For that, I may use them again, but am going to wait until hopefully they are done with their growing pains and train some of their staff better. Otherwise I feel it is a good company.

We had a wonderful experience. Ovis in the main office was very friendly and helpful on the phone when I called to set up my service. Oksana did the cleaning and was absolutely wonderful-- very nice and very conscientious, making sure I was happy with all the work she did. She spent a lot of time getting everything as clean as possible. I can't remember the last time my house looked this good, especially the tile in the showers. We are hoping to have her back to clean every other week if she has a spot in her schedule.

They did and excellent job. I have since set up appoints monthly with this company until we moved.

Odeta, the girl that worked nonstop for just over 5 hours, did an awesome job: blinds, fans, windows, under beds, places that other services I've used in the past neglected. I've made arrangements for Odeta, to come back on a monthly basis.

Very professional and everything in the house was very clean.

The two woman who have been cleaning the house for the last year are consistently punctual, thorough, and detail-oriented. We very much appreciate their hard work and friendly demeanor. We also find the office to be accommodating to occasional special requests and changes in scheduling. Great experience all around.

Everything went very well. The initial contacts, exchange of information, and scheduling was done promptly. The home had just been given a major upgrade: refinished hardwood floors, new kitchen and appliances, whole house painting, and new blinds. A crew of two worked hard for several hours, cleaning everything from ceiling fans to hardwood floors. The post-upgrade dust was particularly stubborn to remove, lodged as it was in cabinets and registers, for example. When the hours ran out on the first day, the company arranged for the crew to return on another day to complete the job. Since they work on a project basis--and not on the basis of a maximum number of hours per project--there was no extra charge for the return trip. The workers who came out were cordial, friendly, and diligent. Equally if not more impressive was their coordinator Ovis (in the front office, lol). He was perfectly tuned in to what the job entailed and strove to make the entire experience pleasant and smooth. Kudos to him, and to his company Simply Clean for a job very well done. I already recommended them highly to a friend, who was also very pleased with their work. We both intend to hire Simply Clean again: they are fantastic!

They were very flexible in scheduling and reasonably priced. Their employee showed up on time and did a great job. The new client questionnaire is a bit long but it was worth it. Thank you!

I couldn't have been happier with the service. First off I check every little crevice when I'm cleaning and so I did after this service. I don't know that I could have done any better. I was elated by how good Daiva cleaned this house. We purchased this for my sister because she was 7 months pregnant just bought the home and her husband was away on business. I was ESPECIALLY happy with the service since it was VERY VERY hot out that day and the air conditioner wasn't turned to on properly. It was steaming in this house but she still did an outstanding job. I will definately recommend and use this service again.

My home has not been cleaned like this in years. They found dirt not seen with the naked eye, and I was quite impressed with the products they use. Two days later, I still feel that my home is clean.

Included all expected cleaning thoroughly in areas that have not been cleaned as well in 7 years.

I called to schedule cleaning service for a friend who is going through cancer treatment. I explained what I wanted to do and they gave me a huge discount per cleaning. They called me back promptly once they got the discount approved. They care about people and there community.

Cleaning lady was prompt, quiet, and thorough.
