Simply Clean

We purchased a home and needed a deep clean of the house before we moved in. Overall it was a very good experience. Paul was very prompt in communicating by email (which I prefer). The workers showed up on time and did a nice job of cleaning the entire house. We will be using them on a bi-weekly bases moving forward.

After the deep cleaning, I liked the company and results so I signed up for a monthly mid-level cleaning. We have the same cleaning lady each time, which is nice because she knows our house and what I like having done each time. I also like that they use eco-friendly products because this is what I also use when I clean on my own (method brand, etc.). I am willing to pay a little more each month knowing that the products used are safe for the environment.

I use Simply Clean, I used them twice, they are great and I highly recommend them. The last time I used them was Tuesday. It's about $100 depending upon the size of the house. They give a very detailed quote, they e-mail back promptly and they voluntarily told me what areas of the house will be cleaned, it was very detailed as to what specifically they would do each time rather than me asking. That was really nice. They are good to work with. They are professional.

The lovely woman, from Simply Clean, showed up right on time. She brought all of her cleaning supplies with her. I showed her the house, and told her what I wanted done. She began cleaning right away,and proceeded to work her butt off for the next 8 hours. She did a fantastic job!! My husband and I are both very pleased with the deep clean we got from Simply Clean. We would definitely use them in the future.

I was skeptical at first to allow a one person cleaning team clean our 2000 sq ft house because I knew how dirty it has gotten over the months of not being able to tend to it. Aiste, however, did an amazing job! She worked on every last nook and made sure every point on the check list from the Spring Cleaning list was taken care of. The Owner, Paul, also asked if there was anything else outside of the list we wanted included and he communicated that to her before her arrival. It was an A ++ cleaning job. We are very satisfied with the final product and so impressed at the number of hours she spent here and her attention to detail.

Its hard to grade this cause I've had positive and negative experiences. I graded only on my deep cleaning. Paul is the person I spoke to, he asked me what I wanted done and how I wanted it done, good communication. The people that were sent out for the deep clean did everything I wanted them too. They couldn't have been nicer and such hard workers. Laura was sent out to do every other week. Her work was ok for the first two visits, the day that I wasn't home she left early and did a VERY poor job, I couldn't believe it. I didn't call Paul right away because I was so mad. Im sure if I would have given Paul the chance to send someone else out I'm sure he would have. I had a feeling these rates are a little high, made one call and found someone $45 cheaper and till today this service has not let me down.

Overall I was very impressed. The cleaning lady was a few minutes early (which was fine). We discussed what I wanted done and she asked questions. I was impressed that she asked if I had allergies? I did not. She was very thorough and took her time. I will definitely use the company again.

The first time they cleaned the house it was 2 cleaners and they did a good job, listened to feedback. After that first cleaning, over the next 6 or so, we saw progressively worse cleanings from an individual cleaner who didn't improve based on our feedback we provided to her. The scheduler is very responsive and easy to reach via email or phone, but their involvement created some confusion with the cleaner as to who we should report our cleaning feedback to. We chose to tell the person who actually cleaned what needed to get better. She did an OK job but didn't respond to the feedback we provided. So we cancelled the service. Price is great, quality is hit or miss, depending on who they assign to clean the house.

My sister was home during the cleaning. She states the cleaning lady spent a lot of time cleaning the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. However, upon inspection, not all the furniture was dusted. Some of the floors did not look like they were mopped very well. Windows were not really cleaned. This was all advertised as part of the price. Also they stated that they use enviromentally friendly products but according to my sister it was the commercial cleaning products found in every grocery store.

The team Diana and Al are so fantastic! They have been helping us every couple of weeks now for almost a year. With a new baby, two dogs and a new home we have had our hands full. But they thoroughly clean our home in a relatively short period of time. I even came home one afternoon and they couldn't get in the house so they were busy washing the outside windows!! They place little dolls in my sons room in just the right funny places, and have even changed my light bulbs without asking. FANTASTIC! THANK YOU!

Within a half hour of sending an initial email inquiry, I was contacted by Odeta who walked me though their philosophy and approach to cleaning as well as the process to determine my initial cleaning and ongoing maintenance needs. Their short list of questions provided the information upon which they made the recommendations. Their price is very fair. The initial cleaning is a true deep cleaning, yet the price was reflective of many other companies' standard rate. 2 people worked for six hours and my house was spotless. They charge by the square footage of the house and take into account the needs/lifestyle of the owners. The initial questionnaire is thorough and a great backgrounder for what a customer wants. It's just one example of how this company lives their philosophy of consumer satisfaction. They take pride in their work. Simply Clean qpproaches cleaning in a unique and individual manner. I highly recommend them.

I emailed Simply Clean on Tuesday night to see if they serviced our area. Odets responded promptly Wednesday morning saying they did and would answer any questions. Having seen such positive reviews on Angie's List, scheduling was my priority. After completing an email questionnaire as to house specifications, I was given quotes for initial cleaning and for ongoing service. The costs seemed fair. I requested the earliest appointment available, since I had to go out of town on Saturday. Odeta replied with an opening the next morning (Thursday)!! Virginia (?) arrived promptly at 8:00am. I showed her around the house, and she went to work. The process took about 5 1/2 hours and left everything spotless. I was extremely pleased and plan to continue to use their services.

The two housecleaners, Diana and Al, are very nice and can communicate with us fine. They are hardworking and try their best to do a thorough job. We have been very happy with the work. I did ask her to do the insides of the ovens and fridge once a month, but that seemed to be fine with her. The owner, Paul, seems reasonable and flexible. He was able to work with our requested times for the work. Overall, we are very pleased and hope to have a good working relationship with them.

I called to get an estimate for housecleaning and got voicemail. I left a message, including my location, and more than a week later I have yet to hear from anyone. If I'd gotten a call saying I don't live in their service area or they aren't taking new clients at this time, it would have been fine. When a company can't bother to return a phone call, I question their reliability and would definitely not make a second attempt to reach them.

My first contact was Odeta, the Scheduling Manager, who is very professional, detailed and responsive. She scheduled me the day and time I needed and sent a great team the first time. They've been here a dozen times and I am very pleased.

I asked Simply Clean to clean my home in Winnetka after my tenant moved out. This is a large 6Bdr house that is over 100 years old and I plan to put on the market for sale.So, I needed to have a very good deep clean before showing the house. Odeta and Gina showed up on time with all the equipment and supplies necessary. After a quick walk around to clarify my expectations they went to work. They were very thorough, well organized and worked exceptionally hard. It is a big house and they worked until they were finished even though I'm sure it was longer than expected. They were always very personable and the final cost was as originally agreed. I highly recommend Simply Clean and I would use them again.

Previous cleanings had gone well. On their last visit, however, a cleaning spray was used on our bathroom faucets and our "dream" shower system that severely tarnished the finish. All in a bathroom that had been remodeled less than 6-8 months ago. The company promised to fix the damage, no matter what, and we all explored options to restore the finish. A company representative came out with a polishing agent to see if a simple solution would restore the finish. After extensive physical effort, we both concluded that it wouldn't work. The company's representative suggested taking 3 sink fixtures, the tub filler, and the complete shower system out and sending it out for re-polishing to see if someone else could get results. No time estimate was provided and we were not willing to dismantle our bathroom, go without shower, bath, or sink for some indefinite period of time all with no guarantee of results. Our original contractor suggested replacement--and this advice came with no potential profit or gain to him. He lost time and $$ helping us. The company had repeated promised to make it right, but then began balking informing us that their insurance company did not cover "accidental damage," but only "damage done on purpose!" Huh? What kind of insurance would that be? We recognize this was an accident, but one would hope that after damaging the first fixture, turning the chrome finish into BLACK streaks and stains and etched water marks that the product use would have been discontinued. We received repeated assurances of making this right, only to ultimately be ignored. We are now in the process of working through our own insurance company to repair the damage at the cost of thousands, with the intent of having our insurance company file against Simply Clean to recoup our deductible and costs. Mistakes are mistakes, repeated mistakes are another, and failing to step up to make things right is "simply wrong." BTW, we were charged for the last cleaning visit as well.

The service was excellent. Gina was running a bit late due to a flat tire, but Simply Clean provided transportation for her and also made sure that her car was ready when it was time to leave. This was for a deep cleaning, and I asked that she pay special attention to the floors and the kitchen cabinets, as we are going to be listing our house soon. The cabinets are like new, and I was afraid we would have to have them refinished. The floors are beautiful. All of the rooms were swept and dusted, all the mirrors and windows sparkle. The baseboards and doors, lights and cabinet tops are cleaned and dust free. I really think the house looks better than it did when we moved in 15 years ago. Gina is returning on Monday, and we are really looking forward to her visit. Odeta, our contact person, was very professional and responsive, answering all our questions in a very timely manner. She did almost all of the communication by email, so there was never a question of what had been stated, I could simply go back and confirm all our conversations. Both the service and the price were excellent, We highly recommend Simply Clean.

They were able to schedule at the last minute. Two person team came in and did a fantastic job. We had just moved into the house in December and had had a professional clean upon move-in. There were stains in the master shower that I assumed would never come off the tile, as neither the professional cleaners nor I had been able to remove w/ much elbow grease. The team from Simply Clean got it up. The house smelled great. They didn't skimp anywhere that I saw. Really pleased with results.

Cleaning person arrived on time, said she would need 4-5 hours. She did an amazing job. The house is cleaner than it has even been. She was very professional. This is a good company. They are responsive and do what they say they will do. A great experience.

They were very good, they were excellent! I would give them an A+. They were only out once. They did everything. They were there 7 hours. They cleaned the floors, the bathrooms, the kitchen, and the they ran the vacuum and gave the house a thorough cleaning. I would say use them, but they are not cheap. That was the first time, so I would assume that they would get cheaper as the time goes on. They were cheaper than another person that I called up. I found them on Angie's List. I thought they were excellent, I thought they did a good job. They were on time and did what they said they were going to do. I thought they were very professional. It was a husband and wife team and I would want to use them again. Our house was a mess and I have been on crutches for a while and haven't been able to do much and our house really needed it.

I was very please with the experience from start to finish! I found this company on Angie's list and they responded to an online request for a quote within 30 minutes. The gentleman on the phone asked very detailed questions to generate an estimate and honored the coupon on Angie's list in the quote. I received an e-mail from the company within 24 hours confirming my appointment, my address, and telling me who would be coming. The 2 person team arrived early, worked very hard, and did an excellent job. I would definitely use this company again in the future.
