Excellently. Dan replaced 12 lighting fixtures and my range hood. He worked carefully and dealt with the unexpected challenges of a 36 year old house ver well.

Dan was professional, pleasant and highly competent. He arrived on time and got right to work. He did not need anything from us other than what and where the lights were that we wanted hung. He worked for about 2.5 hours and neatly stacked the old lights in the garage and put all the packaging of the new lights back into their original boxes. Lights work great and I definitely recommend Dan and will hire him again.

Dan came out the same day we called him and finished the job in under 30 minutes. He was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and experienced. We would use him again and recommend his services.

Dan texted me within a few minutes of me texting him for his availability. Showed up that afternoon 5 min early for his appointment. He's so good at what he does he worked with live wires without turning of the electricity. He found a wrong switch type installed and replaced it appropriately with the correct one. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I would definitely hire him again.

Mr. Mitchell arrived on time, and he was professional. He quickly replaced a failing circuit breaker, and he corrected a small problem he found in the breaker box. Excellent service on a holiday weekend.

Dan was fantastic. I sent a message through Angies List. Dan was responsive and asked to come see the work that would be done. He was here a day later, checked the job and had a quote to me a few days later. He had the worked scheduled two days after that. Dan told us he would be at our home around 2P.M. and he was true to his word, We could not have been happier with the quality of work and the professionalism Dan showed. He was working from the moment he walked in the door, and did not stop for 5 hours. We have already asked him to expand on the job, and any future electrical work will go to Select Electrical. I will be glad to give his company name to my friends and neighbors.

I received a response, only it had nothing to do with my problem, when I explained further he did not respond.

He is outstanding. He gets A+ in every possible category. He was very professional. He returned calls and gave estimates very quickly, very little wait time. He knew his stuff. He didn't waste time and he fixed it. I needed somebody right away because I was putting my house on the market. I had realtors coming to look at the house and the light went out one or two days before. He came out very quickly, took care of it, and did an excellent job. It has worked well ever since. At the time I though the price was a little high.

This is the second time I've used him and he is outstanding. He fixed 5 electrical things. Oh my gosh! he was just so good, so fast. The last one was really complicated and he figured it out. A very nice guy. The price was extremely reasonable There were 5 different items and it took him 2 hours to complete them. He was just very focused, did not waste time. Once the inspector came out I called three electricians. He was the only one that returned my call and he came out within 2 days because he knew I was in a hurry. He was just outstanding. He just knocked the ball out of the park this time. He was very professional, very courteous. He was punctual, he kept following up and letting me know what day he thought he could come out and a window of time. He called again to let me know exactly what time. He called when he was on his way. He just kept following up to make sure I knew exactly when he would arrive. He was very responsible. He was that outstanding. I would definitely use him again.

Had Dave out to my house and he seemed to not want the job. It was adding 2 new outlets and changing out my old ones. Sound like a job for an electrician right? Never got an estimate.

He started at the first outlet for that breaker and worked though each one until he found the problem. Took a while since it turned out the be the last box on that circuit.

On Monday afternoon the kitchen lights sparked and buzzed and smelled hot. Select Electrical had the most positive reviews on Angie's List so I called them and left a message. Dan Mitchell called me right back and we were able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Dan was running a little late and called to let me know -- much appreciated. He got right to work and got everything done very efficiently. He recommended waiting until the overhead bedroom light/fan fixture no longer works and then replacing the fan and switch -- it is an old remote controlled unit original to house. Dan was very nice and easy to work with. I'll definitely hire him again.

Good, he immediately knew what was required and completed repairs in about twenty minutes....

Wonderful! He was friendly and punctual and took care of the issues in a very timely manner. We will use him for all our future electrical needs & projects.

Dan stayed late on a Friday night to get 'er done. I appreciated that. Great work, reasonable rate and materials.

Dan was attentive to my request for installation. Kept great contact, was on time and performed the work without incident at a fair price.

Early on Monday morning I requested services for a repair to an electrical wire going into my garage. I heard from no one until Don called me about 3:45. He asked if he could come over and check things out, I told him I would be home at 4:20, he said, perfect I'll text you. When he hadn't arrived by 4:30, I assumed he would wait until morning when there would be light to work. I received a text about 4:40 saying he'd be there in an hour. He arrived at 5:20. It was dark outside. I explained to him that there was no power going into the garbage, that hubby had already troubleshooted that, and that we thought it was probably a repair my husband did about 10 years ago to the wire going into the garage (I had hit it with a shovel and hubby did a patch). About 10 minutes later he came into the house to tell me "the bad news," the negative wire was dead and we'd need to run a new line. He told me I owed him $95 and that he's text me with an estimate for a repair. He then looked at my basement to see how to run a new line. 4 days later he texts me, telling me he'd charge $875 to fix it. Hubby and I were already upset about him charging me $95 to tell me what we already knew. I wanted someone to fix my problem, and he didn't. So hubby decided to just fix it himself today. In less than an hour he had it repaired. And this guy wanted to charge me $875 on top of the $95 I paid him for just showing up? Sorry, but it was a $95 job. He could have and should have fixed it on his first visit. I even showed him where to dig to fix the wire. Either he doesn't listen, or he likes to make quick money on 15 minute visits to diagnose problems customers already know about. We weren't happy with this exchange at all.

Great job, Dan fit us into his schedule. Will definitely look to use Select again for electrical needs.

I called him out then he told me he didn't have the fixture I needed on his truck but he would screw a light bulb in the kitchen. to which I said, "I called you out, and am going to have one light bulb in my ceiling?, I called you here, I thought you would take care of it. I thought you were competent?" He then said he would go to the store to get some. He got the new long brass light bulb fixture. It took several hours, he had to go to the store to get them. I shouted at him and he told me I was scaring him. I just couldn't believe he wanted to just put a light bulb. I'm not sure I could ask him again. He didn't seem to think that it was urgent that I have my fixture fixed that day. He told me he would put a light bulb then he would see what he could do about founding the brass fixture. May be because it was the end of the day and he was tired and he didn't feel like running to the store to get it. I told him, I wanted it fixed, I could put up a light bulb by my self. I dont need to pay to have it put up

The electrician was flexible in scheduling, arrived on time, and did a great job.
