Description of Work: Very thorough inspection of our home's electrical system and discovered our sump pump was not functioning.

Description of Work: Installed a 220 volt outlet in my laundry room.

Description of Work: The electrician replaced exhaust fan in bathroom, overhead light fixture in kitchen, added a separate outlet for garage door opener, replaced circuit breaker in electrical panel. He did an excellent and professional job. I would recommend his services.

Description of Work: Needed emergency electrical work done to restore power to our house in cold temperatures. Said he would come out in morning, never came, tried calling office no one answered or returned phone calls. Finally got call in afternoon saying he wasn't coming at all. Had to desperately find another electrician to come out asap and wasted a whole day without power waiting on him. If he just could have communicated he wasn't coming in the morning I would not have left a negative review.

Description of Work: He told me that he would have to leave various drywall damage (holes, etc) that would be our responsibility to repair or to hire another company to repair. Such repair would add considerably to the cost of the work needed and then we would have to repaint the repaired areas for even more expense. |The drywall damage issue is the main reason for not using this company.

Description of Work: After finding Dave here on Angie's list, he's become my go-to guy for any electrical issues I have around the house. He's fair in price, punctual, well mannered and professional. All the GFI Outlets in the house had no power. It took Dan 30 minutes to figure out the problem and another 40 minutes to fix it.

Description of Work: Dan was great! An outdoor outlet needed to be replaced, and he was done in no time. A few days later, the outdoor lights weren't working and Dan came over to see what was going on. To my embarrassment, it was the cord and not the outlet that wasn't working this time. Dan did not charge me and we haven't had any problems since. I will definitely use and recommend Select Electrical!

Description of Work: Dan was wonderful at calling me back. He came out right away to give me some ideas as to what type of lighting to buy and installed three lights. He worked through some difficult wiring and gave us some great advice. Very pleasant and professional. I would most definitely use him again.
