Description of Work: Had to have a garage door & opener replaced ASAP. He gave me a quote and all the product info over the phone, and he was able to come out and do it on a Saturday, even after a delay caused by my Association. He was very professional and did a fantastic job, and also stayed to help us program the opener to our car. Would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!!

Description of Work: The wire on our garage door had snapped. We called Mike and he was there within 1/2 hour. Mike was very professional and knowledgeable. He fixed the door so it could function. We had decided to purchase a new door. We picked a door with obscure windows in it. When the door arrived, one of the windows was cracked. Mike had the company send a replacement. It took about 2 weeks from the time we first called Mike. The door is extremely quiet. we are very happy with it.

Description of Work: My garage door spring broke entombing my van at a time that I had to use it to pick up my wife at work. I called the guy I've used in the past. He was amazed that I would bother him at closing time. He said he'd come out sometime the next morning and gave me an estimate of $400.00 to replace the springs. I then called Rumi who said he'd be out in less than 30 minutes, and he was. He replaced both springs in less than a half hour at a cost of less than half the price from the first guy's estimate. Great work at a very good price.

Description of Work: Rumi was great. My car was stuck in the garage as the spring had broken. I called Rumi at 6:30 pm on a Friday night and he gave me a time between 7pm-8pm that same night. He arrived at 7:30pm and took 10-15 minutes to repair. He oiled the tracks on both of my garage doors. The process could not have been better. Very nice to deal with!

Description of Work: Broken torsion spring. My wife said he identified a broken hinge which he said needed to be fixed. I was not there; so I cannot attest to whether the hinge was broken or not. But I have no reason to doubt legitimacy of his recommendation given the good grade he has received on Angie's List.

Description of Work: My overhead garage door wouldn't open on Memorial Day. I researched places to call and decided to call Rumi Garage Door Company. I left a message saying it would be fine to get a call back on the day after Memorial Day. On that morning, I heard from Mike. We scheduled a time for him to come. He arrived on time, maybe a few minutes early. He looked at my problem. One of the dual springs on my door was broken. Mike suggested replacing both, due to the age of the door, and I agreed. Mike went to work and completed the repair in about a half hour. I was thrilled with the speed of the work as well as the quality of the work. I was very satisfied with the price as well. While I hope my garage door needs no more work, I will definitely call Rumi Garage Door should the need arise.

He said my spring on my garage door was the original one but we didn't have to worry about that until it breaks. Great Service! I will definitely be calling him again and telling my neighbors about him.

 + -1 moreIt was nice Sunday morning until I decided to open the garage door. It didn't work. So we called Rumi company (our friends suggested it) and scheduled a repair time. The owner was willing to come the same day but we had some plans and wanted to have it done the next day. He showed up exactly on time and was very helpful. He took time to explain to me what's wrong, changed the door opener, and did preventive maintenance. I knew we had an older garage opener so it wasn't worth trying to repair it. Mike saved us money in the long run. The price was very reasonable.The service was very professional, Mike is honest, polite, and you can see his respects customers. I definately want to call him next time I have a problem with my garage door ( I had a sticker with Rumi Co number near my garage door). I would highly recommend this company.

I spoke with Mike, the proprietor of Rumi and scheduled the appointment in the afternoon. He was right on time and got to work right away. He was efficient and was done in little over an hour. After he was done with the install, he balanced the springs and lubricated the hinges. He also had a portable credit card reader, so I could pay with my credit card after the job was done. I was very pleased with his service.
Description of Work: The home I recently purchased came with an old garage door opener. So I purchased a new one and had Rumi co. install it for me.
