The other reviews listed here are no lie. I actually had a different company scheduled to come out, before reading the reviews on AngiesList. After seeing the glowing reviews on, I decided to to give Mike a call. Not only was he friendly, but extremely accommodating. I called him at ~3:00pm, and he was at my house by 4:30. You can't beat that for responsiveness. As soon as Mike got here, he got right to it. As everyone else said, he was done in about 20 minutes. After he finished, he started tuning things up, oiling the moving parts, and double checking all the safety features. He also noticed that the hacks who hung the garage did a really unprofessional job. Without skipping a beat he mentioned that he had some extra angle iron in his van, grabbed his tools, took down the opener and completely re-hung it. Even when I offered him a few extra bucks for the extra work, he politely declined. Mike is the sort of guy that does the job well, does it right the first time, and really goes the extra mile. A+

Mike came out to quote possibly installing just sensors to my old garage door opener. When this was not possible because of the age of the opener, he installed a new opener. His price was very competitive and he was responsive and prompt. He finished the installation in less than an hour and provided great customer service. Highly recommend and will use again in future.

From the time we placed the first call to Mike to inquire about a door until the time he installed it, you will not find a more responsive or accomodating business owner. Mike came out the same day we called to give us an estimate, we agreed that day and he had the door installed a week later. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Would use Rumi again in a heart beat!

I called on Friday and Mike offered to come out that afternoon, but a dentist appointment was in the way. He agreed to come out first thing Saterday. He was extremely professional, friendly and efficient. The whole job took about a half hour, and he even fine-tuned the tracks and lubricated all the moving parts. Not only is the door fixed for a very reasonable price, but it now works smoother and quitter than it ever has in the last 11 years. I highly recommend this company.

This is the guy to use! I have used garage repair services in the past, and they have all been sleazy upsellers. My garage would only open half way. This guy came out and fixed it for only $54 total! Came same day, right when he said he would. Nice honest man. Do not hesitate to use this guy! To be honest, I use angie's list to get reviews, but I am not always good about spending the time to leave them. This guy made me feel like I wanted to take the time to leave a review.

Excellent job, within an hour of call he was at my house and fixed the garage door opener that was not functioning. He then lubricated everything including my other garage door and checked springs on both doors. I can not say how impressed i was with responsiveness as well as work performed. I also was given a 90 day warranty. Outstanding job, thank you.

He was very professional and provides a 3 yr warranty on his work and his prices were very reasonable! I am referring him to all my neighbors who are having issues with their doors.

Mike told me on phone that he can make it at 5PM on the same day, and he was there at 5PM on the door. He took 15-20 minutes to complete the work. He also checked my other garage door and lubricated to make sure that it is working fine (it was so nice of him). He was very professional and courteous with his work.

Mike is very knowledgeable, quick and affordable. He came out within 2 hours of my phone call to fix our broken garage door which I thought was the spring. It turned out the spring was not broken and he got the door back in shape within 15 minutes. Another door I had was making a very loud noise as it opened and closed. He found it was a broken gear which he replaced. He also adjusted, tightened and lubricated all the springs, tracks, wheels etc. on all the garage doors. It was all done at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend using Mike!

I came home around 4:30 pm on a Friday and as the garage door closed, I heard a loud bang. I went back to look and noticed the spring had snapped. I found Rumi on Angie's List and called. I spoke with Mike and he said he could be out around 7:30 and quoted me the price and recommended replacing both springs. He arrived on time and had both springs replaced in about 20 minutes. He also lubricated everything and made sure the garage door opener was in good shape. he made a potentially problematic situation a non event. The door raises and lowers like new and it is significantly quieter now.

I contacted his company on Tuesday (11/26) and asked if he could come out the day after Thanksgiving and he was happy to do that. He arrived on time and completed the work within 20 minutes. He is a very nice and professional man. The replacement included a 3 year warranty. I am very happy with the service performed and would highly recommend this company.

I called Mike at 4:10 pm today and he was here and had the garage door spring fixed and working by 5:25. Excellent and fast service. I would definitely recommend him to friends and neighbors. Cost was exactly what I was quoted on phone and using Angie's List saved me $25.

Mike was great! I called him at 4 pm today (a Saturday) and he arrived by 5:30. He was quick and efficient, professional. Knew what was wrong within minutes and repaired it quickly. Highly recommend Mike and will use him in the future.

He came out and tried to open the garage door using the remote controls I had. He thought it might be a logic board issue, but went to his car to get a "master" remote control to check - and then determined that it looks like the issue was that the remotes were simply out of batteries. He programmed the remote controls for both of my cars to open both of my remote control doors and he programmed the outside entry remote control to open the remote door. All for only $54 - he was very quick and efficient and gladly programmed my cars remotes even though he didn't have to. I felt that I had to add a $10 tip. Although the issues I had weren't that difficult, it was clear that this was someone who knew what he was doing. I would definetly use him again for any issues that come up.

It was a very good experience. Mike came and installed and also replaced the old rollers. The job went on very well. We had some issue with the door and we called Mike and he came on sunday. We were having some personal issues and he had to wait for about an hour for us. But he was very polite and he fixed the problem. We were very happy to have hired him. I would highly recommend this company.

This was an emergency call. Everything completed within two hours

Called them at noon on a Saturday and they said they would get here at some point, they were very busy, but would fit me in. The came at 6:30 and were done in less than 30 minutes. They were very apologetic for coming so late but I was just glad to get someone out on a Saturday. Very nice and professional. Even lubed and cleaned the door. Replaced some bolts too that I didn't even know was loose. Didn't charge me for the extras. I tried to give them a $20 tip and they would not take it. I will use them if I ever need anything garage door again.

One of the overhead torsion springs failed on our 2 car garage Thursday night, so we needed to have it replaced. From research on replacement options, we knew that it is better to have both springs replaced if one failed so we called for multiple phone estimates on Friday morning. Rumi Co. provided the best estimate to replace both springs including parts and labor and we were informed the Angie's List coupon would also be applied and a 3 year warranty was included with service. Mike said he had availability all day so we scheduled a same day 12:30PM appointment. He arrived promptly at our scheduled service time, removed his shoes prior to walking through our home, checked the service area and then got to work. He said replacement would take less than 30 minutes and he was spot on with the time estimate. He removed the old springs, replacing with new ones that were rated for our door weight, lubricated the moving parts of the door and ran a few open/close tests in under 30 min. We were extremely satisfied with the work and would recommend Rumi Co. to anyone for garage door service in the future.

Mike came out the next day after our call. He replaced our remotes and put in a new keypad. He was prompt, efficient and very professional. We would recommend him to any of our friends.

I called Mike at 6pm on 2/4/13 as my garage motor was making noise but not opening the garage door. Mike came to my house by 9pm and informed me that I could replace a part in my Sears motor or just by a whole new unit. I decided to buy a new unit. Due to my work schedule, Mike came back on 2/6/13 and installed a new Lift Master with a new keypad. He said the price was $385, and I accidentally gave him $400 cash. Mike noticed the mistake and gave me back $15. When I had mentioned that I got his name off of Angie's List, he reminded me of the $15 Angie's List discount, and made it an even $370. Not only did Mike do quality work, but I was impressed with his honesty. The garage door was fixed within an hour. Highly recommend!!

At 4:30PM on a Friday, my garage door would not open because of a broken spring. I had to get my work vehicle out that night for my job. I found Rumi Co. here on Angie's and gave them a call thinking the earliest they would be able to service the door would be Saturday morning or on Monday. I was very surprised that he was able to come at 6:00PM on that day. The gentleman in the photo showed up on time and replaced the broken spring and the other spring for maintenance. He then performed function tests and was completed the work very quickly. I was delighted there was no "emergency service" price. A definite recommendation.

I was extremely satisfied. I contacted Mike on the same day and he came in as expected. He was very professional and completed the replacement of both springs at such a quick time. He checked the overall quality and also applied maintenance. Price was extremely reasonable. Excellent job!

I am not sure who exactly came to repair the door as i wasn't home, but my wife said the person was prompt and replaced the springs. He also took care of the noise (or the springs were the cause!). He gave me a $25 discount and I believe did an excellent job.
