The work he did do was fine. It was like he just died out of the project. They just stopped showing up. We tried for a year to get him back to finish the job. Finally, we just wrote it off because he wasn't coming. He would make promises and not follow through. He put in two doors in the first floor and didn't do our front door, which all the doors total cost us about $8000. We ended up having to buy the front door again. There was about $7900 worth of work that he never finished. The work he did was great. It looks good and has lasted. I believe Matt was dealing with personal issues. I learned to never pay for all of the work up front. They would tell me that they were going to show up on Tuesday at 7 o'clock sharp and would get around to it Wednesday at noon, which wasn't very courteous.
Description of Work: We dealt with Matt Russo from Remodeling Specialists. We had both bathrooms, kitchen, kitchen floor, master bedroom closet floor, and lighting fixtures that were all done fine; however, we contracted for painting and it was during that, that things fell apart.
