Matt and his crew did a great job! They sanded the deck and removed water and mold stains on the deck and railings. We have a heavily wooded lot and the deck is in the shade most of the day. We are very happy with the deck and the house trim! We used this company last year to paint most of our interior and we highly recommend Provision Painting for interior and exterior work. Matt and his crew pay careful attention to detail, do a thorough, professional job, and are on time. We were very comfortable having them come to our home, and we will use their services in the future!

Matt Nedbal is a dependable painter with many talents. His crew is hard working and accuret in thier painting skills. Matt manages the job with reasonable cost and attention to details. He also has an artistic flare which he demonstated by painting a plain chimmny in faux red and black brick. This was an added flair to the total job. He offerd assistance in color choice and contrasting accents. The job completed quickly and cleanup was complete.

This is about the third time Matt has painted rooms in my home, and I'm more pleased each time. He's an artist; not only does he paint with exceptional care, he makes color recommendations that accent the design of the room and home. I remodeled two bathrooms, and the painting was the final step. Matt's recommendations were spot on--the rooms are beautiful. Just about all of my family members use Matt because of his quality, skill and attention to detail.

i have to admit i'm not even sure i have the dates right, but this happened sometime a couple of summers ago. we used these guys on the interior and they were great. but they came out and stained our deck and front porch. within weeks we were already seeing the stain flake - which meant the wood was not properly treated and the stain didn't set. we mentioned this to them and they said they'd come and and patch it up. they did in a few places, but the flaking continued. we asked them to come out and take care of it and they said they would. they never did. i stopped trying to get them out here. in the meantime we've been forced to redo the stain job entirely - it's a complete mess. very disappointed.

I obtained 3 estimates from painters and all estimate costs were within the same ballpark. One important requirement was that I needed help choosing an appropriate color scheme, as I am partially color blind. During the estimate process, Matt from Provision was the only one who went out of his way to explain how he would work with me to get us to a set of colors that I could be comfortable with - that's what convinced me to hire Matt. As it turned out, Matt also helped me choose a carpeting color and advised me on framing a couple of photos, as well! Matt's team was courteous, professional, and cleaned up after each work day. The previous owners had hooks, screws, and anchors on every wall and Matt's crew patched them all perfectly...the walls look like new now. But best of all, they transformed a tired looking 40 year-old condo into something new and exciting. This was all done in about a week. I recommend Provision Painting without reservation.

Excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Matt and his team. Matt is clearly an expert in his field - excellent knowledge of color, provides wise guidance on interior design, has incredible attention to detail and treats your home with utmost care and respect. With Matt's guidance, I was able to be much more adventurous in color choice than I would have been on my own, and yet still stayed in the realms of my original ideas. Matt is honest but tactful with it and has great imagination. I love new the look of my home.

I had water damage to the ceiling in one bedroom that was caused by snow that blew into my attic. Angie's offered a Big Deal from Provision Painting for up to four hours of drywall/plaster repairs. I thought four hours was about what I needed for my ceiling, and I wanted the work done before family visited in the summer. When I called I was happy to discover I could have it scheduled in just a couple of weeks. Matt arrived as scheduled and patched up the water damaged area beautifully/smoothly. He offered to paint the area too! My old leftover paint had pieces of dried paint floating in it, but Matt strained enough of the paint to cover the area. The area is completely blended into the rest of the ceiling and wall. He cleaned up everything, vacuumed the carpet and was gone in four hours. I am very pleased with the great work by Provision Painting and when I'm ready to repaint my place, I'll definitely call them.

Everything went great and turned out beautifully. The colors he picked out were perfect. We didn't have anything in the rooms he was painting to go off of we just gave him some ideas and he ran with it!

Matt was able to come and give an estimate in the evening, which was convenient for me. We scheduled the work within 2 weeks. I had explained to Matt that the other trim in my home required 3 coats - 2 primer and 1 finish coat, and had both kinds of paint available. Matt felt his Benjamin Moore Paint would cover well in 2 coats, and we compromised. I allowed him to use the Benjamin Moore paint as the primer. Matt arrived with the workers for the job on both mornings (2 day job). They carefully tapped off everything, and were exceedingly careful with the treads that had just been refinished. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and I ask a lot of questions, and review the work as it is going on. The team, including Matt were very tolerant of that and explained everything as they went along......I know this can be annoying......but it is just how I am...... After the first prime coat, and a test on one rise with the finish coat, it was clear we would need the 2nd coat of primer. The original quote was for $400, and I could have made Matt stick to that regardless, but I wanted the job to be right, and I also want to be fair, so I paid an additional $150 for the extra coat of paint, and my need for meticulous results.......and I was happy with that. The end result is absolutely stunning. They painted some base trim at the top of the stairs so that there would not be any color variation that was noticable......The treads were clean and the lines everywhere were perfect. I wish I had found Matt and his crew earlier in my renovation project.....I would use his crew for any painting job in the future.

I really liked Matthew and told him that he would be my choice, however the job was my son's house and he would make the final decision. The Provision Painting price was 3 times the price of the only other estimate we had at the time. He asked to see the estimate so I forwarded to him. He responded with frustration over his very good job and design expertise being compared to someone else who obviously had to be using shoddy products and shoddy workmanship since the entire price of the cheaper estimate just equaled his paint costs. I responded by saying to give us his best price in a written estimate and say why he was worth the additional money and that I hoped he won the bid. He said he would get right on it but I never heard anything back from him. We were uneasy with the other estimate since it seemed very, very low, although they were also an Angie's List provider with high ratings. So we got one other bid which came in right in between Matthew's bid and the low bid so we decided on that provider. I looked at samples of the work of the chosen contractor and took the recommendations of the people who had used and recommended them. I will be entering them on Angie's List after the job is complete. Bottom line is that Matthew probably could have sealed the deal if he had responded and lowered his price a bit, however, he chose not to so we went on to get another estimate and ended up taking that one. I believe that Matthew would have done a good job.

Matt, the owner responded quickly to my request for an estimate, and when he came to the house he suggested paint colors and faux treatments that we never would have considered, but absolutely love! The colors transformed our home from boring and pale to vibrant, but not overwhelming shades, The suede-like look of our stairwell softened the former stark white and made it much more inviting, the deep green of the family room accented the view of the pine forest, the metallic copper with green patina and rich reddish background turned our bland office into one Sherlock Holmes would have envied! Our kitchen, living room, hallway and foyer changed from tired pale green to rich mocha tones. Our master suite with a mulberry wine look is absolutely gorgeous, and the rich colors make our artwork come to life! All of our rooms look flawless, the ceilings are perfectly smooth and the paint lines are crisp. The painters were here at 8 AM sharp, all were courteous and professional, and they finished this project in 4 days. Matt used his artistic expertise to change the look and feel of our home into a much more inviting living space! We highly recommend his company!

Matt, the owner, was the most polite, respectful, knowledgeable painter I have ever spoken to in my whole life. He helped me choose the colors for my apartment. He oversaw the entire job with his workers. My entire apartment was completed in a short amount of time. They sometimes stayed for 12 hours to just make sure the work was done correctly. I live in an older Victorian style building. He is a very involved painter. He made my apartment look so beautiful. I have never had such a positive experience with a painter. I could tell he has a passion for his work. He is so involved in the work, which is amazing. He is particularly knowledgeable about lead exposure from the paint. He kept me and the workers safe. He is a safety first guy and really cares about safety. He taught me a lot what is safe and hot safe when it comes to painting. He uses a tool that shows you where there are amounts of lead to you are aware that it is there.

They did a great job with patching several spots on the ceiling left from some electrical work that left huge holes that we tried to patch ourselves but did turn out so well. The ceiling looks perfect now! Matt made paint suggestions for us and we did pick one his colors that looks much better than what we had before. Matt worked along with his crew on the job. They took care of moving all of our big furniture into the center of the room and covering it with plastic, which was a huge relief for us because we thought we would have to move the furniture ourselves. They arrived at our agreed upon time both days, cleaned up behind themselves, moved our furniture back into place, and we loved the results. We got another quote from another Angie's List painter and Matt's estimate was about $125 less so we felt he charged a fair price for all the work completed. We will definitely be using Matt the next time we have painting that needs to be done.

It was a good experience. He really worked with us in terms of helping us pick out a color. We had a lot of questions and he answered them all. He was very patient and he was very easy to work and deal with. He was very thorough, punctual and responsive.

We were very pleased with the work and wish to thank Matt, his crew, and his carpenter subcontractor, for the excellent job of painting the exterior of our home. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional painter. Matt cares and went above and beyond what had to be done and exceeded our expectations. They made the exterior of our 30 year old house look new ! We would definitely hire them again.

Matt was very prompt in coming out and giving an estimate. They were also prompt in arriving every morning, took great care in prepping all areas and keeping everything covered and protected. Worked diligently and did not take many breaks. I would highly recommend them.

THEY WERE FAST AND ACCURATE, DID NOT SLOP ANY PAINT. SO TALENTED THAT THEY DIDN'T NEED TO MASK ANYTHING.THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES . MOVED ALL THE LAWN FURNITURE, AND OTHER LAWN AND PATIO ITEMS BACK IN PLACE. FANTASTIC JOB ! .

Matt was always easy to reach and answered all of my questions. Job was started and completed according to schedule. I am happy with the quality of the work.

They did a wonderful job. There were 3 guys that came. They are very clean. Prices are extremely reasonable. Matt the owner came out to review the final outcome, and he pointed out some other things that I needed to do. He sees things that I wouldn’t see. He is extremely knowledgable and a true expert in what he does. They are coming out to fix some other things as well because of schedule conflicts.

We recently moved into a new home and needed a fresh coat of paint for our great room. Matt arrived soon after I called and gave a very reasonable estimate. He and his employee showed up on time, were professional and courteous, and did a fantastic job. We had several nail holes, large holes from previous shelving, and minor cracking, all of which was repaired so well you would never know there was once a problem. Honestly, when they were finished painting, my walls were in PERFECT condition. Matt also had to use the brush to handpaint a lot of space behind my kitchen cabinets, he did an excellent job. I've hired many painters in the past and I have to say I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality work I received from Provision Painters. After they were finished, Matt noticed a spot where he thought needed more attention (I barely noticed anything), so he reworked that area and repainted even though it was getting late and I'm sure they were exhausted. He really seems to be passionate about the quality of his work.

Fabulous. Matt is wonderful. His work is top-notch. He provides varying levels of service (i.e., different price points depending on whether he moves furniture, fixes imperfections in the walls, etc.), and his estimate is extremely accurate. His crew is on time and professional. Highly recommend him. I won't use anyone else now!

Matt was very punctual, professional and competitively priced. As someone with art training, Matt arrived well equipped to provide several alternative color palates for our consideration, and willingly shared his personal recommendations. Matt employs a core group of skilled painters that have been with him several years. They are not day laborers and they take great pride in doing a good job for people. Our interior project was the first completed. We were very pleased with the quality, as well as a cost that came in slightly below our original estimate! We felt very comfortable selecting Provision Painting to complete our exterior color change and have already confidently referred Provision Painting to others in the neighborhood.

Great experience. We had just closed on our new house and wanted to paint it before we moved in. I called the next day and Mathew, the owner, was able to come over and give me a quote that evening after work. He was very knowledgeable about coordinating paint colors and interior design. We got two other quotes. His was the best and he was the only one to be able to guarantee getting the work done on time. He also seemed very knowledgeable about fixing imperfections in the walls. His crew came over first thing the next morning and got straight to work. They were very professional. They even finished up a half a day early. The finished product looked great and the repairs were excellent. We highly recommend them.
