Matt and his team were fantastic. He put up with me changing my mind about things a couple of times without any complaint. The work they did was professional. Matt is an artist and has a great eye for color. Putting your trust in him to select colors for your home is highly recommended. Matt oversees and inspects everything they do and nothing is left undone or sloppy. My house looks like a brand new house.

Gabriel and Salvador are excellent painters. They were meticulous in their painting and were extremely careful to ensure our newly refinished wood floors were protected. They also painted the kitchen cabinets. The kitchen was the last room to be completed and I think the painters may have felt rushed to finish in order to move on to another job. All in all, Matt has wonderful painters working for him. Definitely would recommend.

It went very well. Matt suggested a color to help us sell our home. He also gave us staging advice. We listed our house in the middle of November, and thought it was going to take a few months. Instead, we had an offer on our house within 14 days.

Matt Nedbal continues to combine professionalism with artistry. His recommendations turn out beautiful, and he's encouraged when allowed to be creative. I've hired Matt for a few jobs over the years, and would hire him again with no doubt that I would be pleased.

They did a phenomenal job. Everything looked crisp and clean when they finished. The team (including Matt) were unfailingly polite and professional. They also offered suggestions and listened to us to provide the exact look we wanted. These services were for a house we are selling. We will now need hiring them to do our new house.

It was great, everyone involved took great care of their work, and my house. They repainted 5 ceilings, the master bedroom, and the stairway. Re-taped the kitchen and repaired 2 severe cracks in my walls...And voluntarily painted the exterior entrance way. One very important aspect was coming in about 10% Less than the estimate. With as much that was done, I expected at the very minimum, paying the estimate. I will always call upon Matt to do any other projects concerning my walls/ceiling or exterior work. Matt was great from start to finish. He's worth every penny (and his rates are comparable to others in the area as well.) He helped me and my wife choose updated colors for a 1950's ranch and made thoughtful coordinating suggestions. They were in and out in a reasonable amount of time and even did a great job dealing with our extensive coved ceilings. He'll be our go-to painter in the western suburbs from now on.

Estimation process was smooth and professional. Worked with us regarding scheduling. Easy to work with and flexible. Assisted in moving furniture and prep work. Repaired drywall where ceiling fixtures where removed and replaced. Fast and efficient. Matt is a creative person with a lot of ideas. Great color selection assistance. Was not pushy but offered suggestions - many we took some we didn't but I appreciated his professional advice. Did an interesting technique in the master bath with metallic paint that is fantastic. I plan on having him work on my daughter's house next.

Matt and his team did an excellent job. When I originally contacted him for an estimate, he followed up immediately. And that has been true of all subsequent contact. He is very good at communicating in a timely manner. The reason I hired him, was because of his attention to detail and his artistic skill. He is more than just someone who can paint a wall. He has a lot of artistic training and education, and he cares very much about the quality of the end result. The job that he did at my home is beautiful. In addition, he touched up a poor quality paint job that had been done previously by a different painter. This is something that he offered to do at no charge. What a difference Matt's attention to detail made in this room. I highly recommend Provision Painting.

They were professional and they were nice. The gentleman who came out was the owner of the company, and he was nice, but their price was too much. It was $1000 more than the person I used. He wanted to fix all the dents and make it look like glass. He did not charge to do the estimate.

Matt and his crew were terrific. He is a color expert and has tons of good suggestions. We repainted 80% of our condo which is rather open and we couldn't figure out where to start a color and where to end. He helped solve that problem and we are quite pleased with the way things turned out. Matt prepared samples for us and came by a couple times to put sample colors on the walls. That was extremely helpful to us as we can't very well visualize what a new color would look like before painting. He also did faux finishes on two walls -- one was great as he did it; the other was a real challenge and needed a couple revisions which he did with no problems and no extra fee. His crew was polite and professional. We're really glad we chose ProVision Painting and would definitely re-hire them. (And his price was competitive).

We got three quotes from companies off Angie's list. Provision was in the middle. What sold us on Provision was Matt's (the owner) presentation, personality and knowledge of color schemes and design. A review on Angie's listed noted that he was an artist. He certainly put that training into his work. He was not pushy. He explained what Benjamin Moore products he uses, bounced a few ideas off us for color and took as much time as needed to answer all our questions. He estimated the job price and gave us a time line for completion. Upon hiring Matt, he met with us again and went into an in-depth color consultation. We were very pleased with the way Matt helped us decide on the color schemes. His painters started on the date and at time promised and finished the job on time. Matt was around a part of each day to check on the progress and ensure we were happy with the work done so far. Matt actually picked up a brush and roller and assisted. The painters were very polite and professional. They cleaned up at the end of each day. I hired Provision to paint the front gutters and downspouts as well. They first cleaned the dirt and grime off the metal then painted them. We felt that Matt was very honest and sincere in dealing with us and it was very apparent that he takes great pride in providing a quality product and stress free experience. Although we were not in the market for any specialized interior painting project, I asked to see some of his personalized interior works, and the pictures he produced were phenomenal. So, if you are looking for something unique call Matt. We would most certainly hire Provision again.

AMAZING WORK ? Technically and Aesthetically! Matt and his crew did an OUTSTANDING job transforming the interior of our home. It had been a while since the interior of our home was painted. Our house looked outdated and did not have a consistent look. I am not good with color, so I was looking for someone who was good with color and design as well. We hit the ?jackpot? with Provision Painting. Matt is not only a technically skilled painter, but he is also a talented artist who has a wonderful eye for color and design. His color suggestions were stunning and our house now looks stylish, clean and modern ? and all at a reasonable cost. I also want to stress that the quality of the job is perfection! Matt has an uncanny eye for detail and made sure that the work was high quality. He is a wonderful person to work with -- It was a pleasure doing business with Provision Painting. We highly recommend them.

I had hired Matt in March 2013 to paint almost all the rooms in the house. He was able to do it all quickly in about three days; I was expecting it to take much longer and be much more expensive. Matt provided exceptional service. After we had some construction work done, I called Matt again for touch-up work. He responded quickly, and came out for an estimate. For all the walls, ceilings and trim, Matt was able to match the paint, make some minor wall repairs and provide consultation on the outside work. I really appreciate his eye for detail, and his ability to work with me for color consultation. His team is incredibly polite, punctual and they work very clean! I am so happy with their service.

The owner was an angel. They did an incredible job. They are super honest. He explained everything about the toxicity of the paint. He was wonderful. He made suggestions and helped select the colors. He got the job done in a very reasonable amount of time. I got an expensive quote from another painter. He even brought a lead detector with him because I live in an older apartment.

I had been very cautious in choosing a painter. I hadn't been happy with the descriptions and rating of area painters even on Angie's List. I am so glad I went with Provision though. I finally went with them because I was having a hard time choosing color and Matt was an artist that would help choose. I'm so glad I went with Matt. From beginning to end, it was a great experience. Matt helped me enormously in picking the correct color for the atmosphere I wanted. He listened to me and suggested based on my current color choices in the rooms. He also took me out of my comfort zone which I'm very grateful for because the room I took the biggest chance on is my favorite. The finished product was exactly what I wanted. Everyone that has seen the house has commented on how nice it looks, and I love every room. Throughout, Matt was friendly, professional and had a wonderful eye with great color combinations. I have open concept and worried about color flow but Matt took care of that with using a slightly lighter shade on some walls depending on how the light hit and using an accent color to bring out a particular painting I liked. Even though Matt was great with the color choices, I had worried about the execution and even considered if I didn't like how the actual painting went, I would pull the plug. The first day, Hector and crew were on-time and Matt was there to make sure things started smoothly. In talking with Hector he assured me that he enjoyed his job and that I would have perfection. Hector didn't disappoint. As he painted, he repaired wall imperfections and even repaired an arch that was beginning to pop out. He made sure what he was doing was what I wanted before he started. His painting is perfect. Even though it has been several months, I still can't find even the smallest issue with his painting, and I've looked closely. With painting the entire house, it took most of the week but the guys kept the disruption to a minimum. They also cleaned up each day, keeping painting supplies in one area. This was important to me as I have two cats in the house. The guys showed up on time every day and worked well all day. Once I saw their workmanship, I started leaving throughout the day and didn't worry things would go well while I was gone. After painting was done, Matt even took the time to install wall decor I needed help with. I asked him his opinion with picture placement and hard to decorate areas of the house. Again, spot on. I took his suggestions and love it. Matt also took his accountability seriously. He followed up on our discussions, checked in to make sure everything was going as planned and that I was happy with what was being done. Even though Matt was backed up and it took a long time to actually get the painting started, I would wait for him again. Sure glad I waited this time.

It was excellent. They did a really nice job. We had him do a lot of work and we did take his card and we would definitely use him in the future.

After a number of years enduring normal wear and tear, the entire interior of my house was in need of painting. This consisted of a main entryway, living room, powder room, dining room, kitchen and family room, master bedroom and bath, stairway and three small bedrooms. In addition to painting the walls and ceilings, a fair amount of prep work was required, e.g. repair popped nail holes, fill gaps in the drywall in several places, caulk some of the trim, as well as do a couple of minor carpentry fixes. In addition to the above, I also needed some good sound advice on color selection, hopefully adding a little flair to my home. I turned to Angie's List and found the perfect solution in Provision Painting, headed by Matt Nedbal. I called Matt and made an appointment for him to stop by to look things over and give me an estimate. He was here for 1 hour and 45 minutes and gave me a detailed estimate and some initial thoughts on color selection. Following that we agreed on the scope of the work and he came out again for a specific, and lengthy, color consultation (at no extra charge). This last element was really invaluable in my case. Matt was able to assess my preferences, offer specific suggestions, coming by the house more than once with little sample cans of paint to try them on the wall so I could get a realistic feel how a specific color would actually look rather than rely totally on a small paper sample. In the end I selected eight colors and accent tones for the twelve rooms. We finalized what would be done and set a start date just after New Year's. Matt and his small crew showed up on time every day for the next 12 weekdays and they did a superb job in all respects. They moved from room to room, did as good a job as possible to protect furniture and screen off areas they were not working in. They took the time needed to do an excellent job and I was totally pleased with the colors selected and the final look achieved. At all times Matt was professional and easy to work with as adjustments needed to be made along the way. Undoubtedly, less expensive painters can be found. But for my needs I wanted a top quality job done with some color selection advice available as well. Provision Painting filled the bill perfectly and I recommend them highly.

Matt was awesome! He responded quickly to my request for service and his price was fair and reasonable. He provided tips on colors to use, which I appreciated. He also used very high quality products in his work. He was very attentive to details and the end result looks wonderful. I especially appreciated that Matt fit me in on short notice so that my work could be completed before the Thanksgiving holiday. All around a great experience, and I highly recommend him for any painting services!
