Terrible, promises made and never kept.

Shamsi went above and beyond to meet my very short timeline (4 days). Being in the remodeling industry, I know from experience that a typical turnaround on countertops is much longer. His pricing is competitive and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the product. Will definitely use again!

They did not meet the contracted install date, I was given the run around by Shamsi Mas for six days. The measurements were not correct and as such the granite was not cut correctly. The quality of the installation was very poor. The breakfast bar granite was approximately 19 inches in width by 72 inches in lengthen and weighted anywhere from two-three hundred pounds. Marble and Granite City proceed to install the breakfast bar without in support other than the modeling with was holding the old laminate. One end of the granite was sitting on a ledge of approximately 5 inches and sitting on the 1/4 inch molding which supported the former laminate top. Marble and Granite City refused to correct the problem by installing the proper support bars that would support the weight of the granite. The hole for the granite top sink in the bathroom vanity was cut incorrectly resulting in the sink not being centered on the cabinet. The plumbing was very poor workmanship as well, they removed the PVC and proceed to install plastic tubing to reconnect the plumbing. The backsplash behind the faucet counter was cut short as well and in an attempt to correct that work they proceeded to try to insert two small pieces of granite. This company has very poor customer service and does extremely awful work, dealing with Shamsi Mas was a horrifying experience so much so that I had to get legal counsel.

The price was very good. The slab for my countertop had a big black splotch which I was promised would not be used in my top....about half of it is right next to my sink. The installers were very nice but gouged my walls and did an average job with the install. Part of my purchase was 2 small pieces to cap a half wall in my bathroom. They were not installed when they did my countertop. I called repeatedly to get these and was told a dozen times "tomorrow". Finally I drove to the shop and the installers remembered me and fabricated the pieces basically under my direction (the owner wasn't there). The owner was unresponsive to my calls and over committed and under performed. Price was great but I would strongly not recommend this place.

I liked the stone that I picked out- that is how I decided to use them. So far so good. The workers are good. The work is not yet complete but in a week or so I week be able to determine the quality.
