M Craft

Adrian from M Craft was a referral from a close friend that also had is floors refinished. He came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Adrian was honest from the start, not only with the price, but the extent of the work and timing when he had a full workload already. He was able to work me in, even accommodate us living at home while him and his team went floor by floor. He was methodical in his approach, and quality/detail was of the utmost importance to him. This high quality of work and professionalism also extended to the team that was on site. There were many times when I had to leave our house and I 100% trusted him and his team to be on site and lock up when done. All in all, Adrian and his team were hands down the best contractors we have worked with when we purchased our home in 2021. He is so confident of his quality, he even took my call a year later when I questions about our floor. I highly recommend Adrian and M Craft and would rehire them in a second.

Our floors look incredible! It's like a brand new house! The previous owner had painted the floors so we knew the planks were probably in rough shape. Adrian is a magician—our floors look like brand new floors, and there isn't a trace of paint or dust. Adrian is obsessed with making sure every detail is right. He helped us select a stain that matched the house and tones in the wood. He advised us about our finish options based on the condition of our planks. He's the only person we spoke with who had a plan for replacing the shoe moulding. Adrian and his team started on time and finished ahead of schedule and exactly on budget. He let us know how the work was going at the end of every day and always made sure to clean up. We will 100% hire Adrian again.

The best! Adrian and his team exceeded any expectations we had on our hardwood floor project. We had them rip out and haul away all upstairs and downstairs carpet, had all new wood floors installed and existing floors sanded and re-stained so now our entire house is wood (he even installed linoleum for us in our laundry room). The floors are absolutely perfect; he and his team were very professional, on time and hard working! If you are not sure who to go with Mcraft is the best choice!

To start, I want to let you know that I haven't worked with a better contractor than Adrian. He is upfront, communicates very well and makes conservative assumptions so there are no surprises. Even after the job was completed, he came back to fix other contractor's mistakes with no charges. Expensive but well worth the cost. We had damage in one bedroom on 2nd floor and front entryway from Ice Dam leakage into house from roof. Damage looked contained but because we have continuous wood floors on both levels, I was told by several contractors that complete floor on both levels would need to be sanded and refinished. Adrian responded very quickly to my call but indicated that if I needed to get the job done quickly, we should pass on his company since they were backlogged. I had read his reviews and they were uniformly great compared to others so I requested he come out and prepare a bid. He was very knowledgeable and explained the issues well and how they would go the job and recommended using a Bona Hardwood Water sealer vs an oil sealant and why. His bid was about 40% more expensive than the two other vendors I had asked for bids from but he did not request any money up front and he guaranteed 100% satisfaction with no caveats on chatter marks, waves, swirl marks, etc. The other 2 vendors said they couldn't guarantee against chatter or swirl marks and wanted 50 - 60% as a deposit and further deposits as work progressed with only 10% withheld for final completion. The time Adrian estimated was about twice the length of time that the other vendors estimated and he explained that with the amount of work and all the labor issues associated with the pandemic he couldn't promise to get it done faster. All the vendors I spoke with said it was a big job and if we could live with it and get the insurance company to pay for it later, we would be better off covering up damaged areas and repairing floors once we move out of house to sell it. Unfortunately insurance would only pay depreciated value of floors if we wanted to wait while they would cover 100% if we did the repairs within the year. The earliest day to get it repaired was about 6 months later or the next would have been 9 months later. We chose to get it done at the start of October. Adrian told us we would need to be out of house for about a month but he moved up timeline after a week to say he would get it done in 3 weeks. After we got our painters to agree to move up their timeline and only 3-4 days after he said he would be complete in 3 weeks, he completed job in a little over 2 weeks. Unfortunately we couldn't move up painters. If there was any quibble it would be with the fact that having a better timeline would have allowed us to be out of our house for less than the 6 weeks it eventually took. However it didn't take any longer which is what our insurance company told us to expect. After job was finished, Adrian told us to be careful for first several weeks using just socks in the house and using masonite to protect floors anytime we were moving things or placing things down. When I mentioned moving company personnel had said their masonite was all scratched up, he went and bought several sheets for me to provide movers. We noticed some issues with smoothness of the floors on the steps after a week and he agreed that it was not up to standards and he came and worked over weekend to fix stairs so we could have painters start on time. About 3 weeks after we moved back in we had HVAC vent cleaners in to clean vents as we had heard that it was typically needed - the HVAC guys said our vents were just normal for 20 years of not cleaning and very little caused by the sanding. However the HVAC guys dropped a vent cover gouging the floor in the main level. We called Adrian thinking it would be a big job to fix, he was able to patch with some wax (for free) and said they could replace board and do another coat of sealant if the HVAC insurance would pay for it otherwise he recommended we live with it since life happens.

Adrian and his crew did another fantastic job. After putting beautiful hardwoods in all my bedrooms about a year ago, we had Adrian and his team back to redo our stairs. We couldn't be more pleased with results. The stairs, the landing, posts and spindles were all redone and/or replaced - and there is nothing we would change. We especially appreciated the attention to detail to ensure a quality job. The crew was always respectful of our home and worked very expeditiously to finish the job and minimize disruptions. Highly Highly recommend.

From start to finish it was a great experience. Adrian pays attention to every detail and worked with us to get the result we wanted. Every day the crew was here on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. This is a top notch operation with courteous and kind people doing the work. We had one other estimate that was lower, but as they say, you get what you pay for. Don’t waste time looking anywhere else. Adrian and MCraft will make your home beautiful.

This is a follow up to my earlier review when Adrian refinished half of my first floor and put in new flooring and matched the stain for the balance of the floor in the Fall of 2020. I wanted to replace the carpet on the second floor with carpet but Adrian did such a fabulous job for the first floor that my wife wanted to see if it made sense to go with hard wood again. My biggest concern was the time and the dust as we continued living in the house. Adrian had already addressed the concern about dust when he redid the first floor and I was amazed with the little amount of dust his super high end machines emitted. He promised me to try and get the job done in a week. Needless to say, he delivered with flying colors. I have already detailed my experience with him in my earlier review (he is a “craftsman” who takes pride in his work and doesn’t try to cut corners). He doubled up the crew the first couple of days to remove the carpet, the prep and installing new wood and finished the job in under a week. The floor looks fabulous. Adrian was excellent to work with, and the work he and his team did was absolutely top notch. He really took the time to help me through a difficult home remodel that had some serious flooring issues. I've gotten so many compliments on the new floor and am extremely happy at the results. I would definitely use M Craft again.

They were here when they said, completed the job as requested and did a magnificent job. They were very detail oriented, especially around the edges, making sure it was perfect. Adrian did an amazing job and I would not hesitate to hire him again (not that we’ll need it) or to recommend him!

Adrian and his sons of MCraft did an outstanding job refinishing my hardwood floors. I was dreading this job, knowing how messy and smelly it would be. But my experience with MCraft exceeded all of my expectations. First of all, I am a clean freak and dreaded the mess and dust I knew would fill my house. To my surprise there was minimal dust, and they vacuumed what there was thoroughly at the end of each day. They actually left my house cleaner than when they started. They did such a perfect job that I didn't even need to touch up the paint on my baseboards! Their equipment is top-of-the-line and the end result proves it. Also their attention to detail was very impressive. Not to mention their pricing is very competitive. Now to the end result: my floors are absolutely gorgeous. I chose the color graphite, which gives a more contemporary look to my floors. I have gotten raving compliments from everyone who has seen them. Every time I look at them I smile!

Outstanding job. Adrian treated this project as if he was working on his own home. The quality and attention to detail was phenomenal. He encountered unexpected and unique challenges with how my stairs were built and he took the extra time to make sure his installation work would look perfect. If you are looking for fast, MCraft may not be the best choice....but if you want the greatest quality at a very reasonable price...this is the company. I would recommend Adrian to anyone.

Adrian is absolutely wonderful. We hired him to install and stain new hardwood flooring in our family room and refinish the existing floor in the kitchen to match. Adrian is 100% worth every penny...you get what you pay for. He is super thorough and meticulous and takes pride in his work. He doesn’t cut corners. The final product is so beautiful, you will not be disappointed!! He is a very genuine guy and I highly recommend taking his advice when it comes to flooring...he definitely knows what he is doing. Adrian is super transparent and communicative, leaves zero mess (even with a refinish), and sticks to the timelines he tells you. We cannot say enough great things about Adrian, the work he does is just flawless. We will be hiring him again to replace our existing staircase as well as install and stain hardwood flooring throughout our upstairs. I promise You will not be disappointed if you hire him!!!!

Talked to a friend a while back about pulling up some carpet and going back to the hardwood floors from when the house was new in the 50s. He gave me Adrian's number to call when the time came. The time came and I decided to pull up the carpet that was there for 45 years hoping to just polish the wood and be done. I wasn't so lucky, 45 years had rubbed off the shine down to the bare wood in some places. Other places had various stains from water, pets or who knows what. None of the floors had the same color any more. My hope of just some polish and buffing didn't come true. I pulled out Adrian's number and gave him a call. I received an immediate response. It was just a short time before I had an estimate, then Adrian and his team were at my house to start the work. Once he started, I was always kept updated with what was going on. His work was amazing. The stains are gone and everything matches and I could not be happier with how well everything turned out. It was such a pleasure to work with Adrian. He takes such pride in his work and his work ethic of doing everything on time, while always staying in touch. I look forward to working with Adrien again in the future.

Adrian and his team did a phenomenal job demoing our current floor & installing new luxury vinyl flooring. He kept our house extremely clean all considering ripping up tile & wood. He also continued to keep my wife and I in the loop on day to day work & revised time frames as we went. He is a master at his craft and we couldn’t be happier how our new floor & staircase came out!

Only one word to describe Adrian’s workmanship - fantastic. I got a quote from a lot more contractors than I normally do (probably six) and although Adrian was a little more expensive vs the others (who were all in a tight range), I felt Adrian’s “pitch” to be very honest. He acknowledged that he could be a little more expensive but that’s because he uses the top quality material and “does it right”. He also addressed my primary concern about the dust being created for finishing the wood in the house vs getting prefinished wood and installing it. He claimed that there would be very little dust vs what you normally get in the house. I was skeptical before the project but at the end of the 2 1/2 weeks I wholeheartedly agree and the primary reason is the equipment he uses - it’s top of the line. Other comments: - he is meticulous - when he realized that the prior owner’s refrigerator was leaking water and thus damaged the wood, he without hesitation removed the wood and then the subfloor which was rotten (for which he didn’t charge me extra either!). He did not try to cut corners - period - he is extremely punctual and exactly told me when he would start the project, when he would be coming in and leaving, etc. - he was patient in giving my wife the time and space to make a decision on what stains she wanted to go with - he is extremely clean and cleans up each day after he is done. - he himself or sometimes one of his sons were always on the job so there is personal supervision. My wood flooring looks breathtaking and it’s quite obvious that it’s because Adrian takes so much pride in his workmanship. I am so happy with what he did that I am going to be even giving him the contract to finish the entire second floor instead of just replacing it with carpet even though it will cost me much more. You won’t regret your decision!

Adrian was fantastic! The results were very high quality. I would absolutely recommend to anyone. Replaced our floor with new hardwood in our primary bedroom and into our upstairs hallway. What I loved the best was fantastic transitions from hardwood into bed and tile look amazing. Those little details just make the whole thing look so great.

Adrian's team did an amazing job installing the vinyl floor in our living room. They got everything done in under 2 days with no disruption to our day to day. Both Adrian and his team have be super professional throughout the process from quoting to installation. They set realistic expectations upfront and helped us better understand the process.
