Great experience working with Adrian and his sons. The work looks great, and he was helpful throughout the process from quoting to selecting stains, and to the final walk through. I would recommend Adrian for his level of professionalism, punctuality, and quality of work. He was easy to work with and the floors, vents, stairs, ect. look great.

Adrian was quickly responsive to our request for a quote. He was also punctual, and kept in contact as requested. He scheduled at our convenience, did a perfect job, and left everything immaculate. This is one of several rental properties that we own, and we have used other companies before. This is the best company we have dealt with in 25 years, and Adrian is exceptionally professional.

Our experience with Adrian began with a punctual visit to estimate the job. As promised, he emailed the estimate within a day or two. We agreed to the estimate, but he said that he was booked about 8 weeks out, which put us on the spot, as we are trying to prepare our house for sale. He promised to try to squeeze us into the schedule as early as possible since the job would only take a little more than one day. We were pleasantly surprised when he called within a couple of days to say that he could do the job on Wednesday of the next week. On the day of the job, Adrian and his sons showed up a little earlier than the promised 7:30 start time, but we were ready. They got the furniture moved in about 15 minutes, carrying each piece to avoid dragging anything across the finished floor in the dining room. They then went right to work on the carpet, removing it and carrying it to the trash dumpsters in the alley. After this, they brought in their machines and began sanding the old finish from the floor after taping up a plastic sheet across the open archway between the living room and dining room to contain the dust in the work area. By the end of the afternoon, they had restained the floor to match the dining room and applied two coats of urethane finish, letting the first coat dry before applying the second. Before leaving, they left a powerful fan set up to dry the second coat. They returned the next morning to add prepainted quarter-round molding strips to fill the gap between the floor and the bottom of the baseboards where the removed carpet had been. They then applied the third and final coat of urethane to the floor, advising us not to use the floor until the next day even though it would be fairly dry within 2-3 hours. It was not necessary for them to return and put back the furniture, as we had help that had not been available to us on the start date of the job. The floor looks beautiful and is very well matched to the refinished oak floor in the dining room, which had been done several years earlier. Adrian and his sons are very good at what they do. They work efficiently and are always courteous and thoughtful. And they do what they say they will do--no surprises.

I called Adrian to help us with a project problem in a very short notice. He was fully understanding of our needs and agreed to come see us promptly on the same day (a Sunday). He looked at the job and made an assessment of the situation. He said that the problems were not as bad as we thought. He explained in detail and accessible language what he meant. He instructed us what to do and we strictly followed his advice. Things worked out exactly as he said. He saved us thousand of dollars, literally. We insisted in paying for his expertise, but he did not accept. He was by far the best experience we had over a very long remodeling. This guy is the real deal.

I called Adrian to estimate cost of hardwood flooring for my condo. He was amazing! First of all, he was punctual and extremely knowledgeable about hardwood flooring. He was very honest in advising me to find a general contractor since I wanted to do bathroom remodeling as well - he advised me that it made better sense cost-wise. Even though I ended up finding a general contractor, Adrian graciously answered questions that I had about hardwood flooring and gave me such great advice! He is very passionate about hardwood flooring and I wish we had the opportunity to work together. I will recommend him in a heart beat anytime!

Beautiful work - clean, courteous, quick response and a great job.

Before starting the sanding, Adrian and his sons moved all the furniture, lifting rather than sliding the heavy pieces, the range, refrigerator, entertainment center, and china cabinet. Two pieces of furniture had to be disassembled before moving and that was done carefully. They removed pictures from the walls. The kitchen cabinets were covered with plastic sheeting secured with masking tape. After sanding the floors were finished with a Swedish finish that is uncommon (at our request). When the finish had dried, Adrian and the sons replaced all the furniture after being sure that each piece was protected with felt pads. They removed all sliders that would have marred the new floors and replaced each one. We couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done on our house. M Craft is one great company. Adrian and his sons are all very friendly and pleasant to be with. We were always kept up on what step was next, and how long it would take. The floors are beautiful. Our floors had been left unstained, but Adrian suggested a stain that is very light, but brings out the oak grain which in it's natural state was not very pronounced. We have one more room to refinish, and will be working with M Craft to have that work done whenever scheduling permits. We have already recommended them to the people we know who have wood flooring to keep in mind when they need refinishing and would not hesitate to recommend them over and over. A great experience!

Adrian and his sons arrived on time and had the carpet removed and the new oak hardwood floor laid in our living room in one afternoon. We were extremely pleased at how fast and thorough they were at every step of the process. They worked with us and wouldn't quit until we were completely satisfied that the new floor and the sanded down area in the kitchen matched the original floors perfectly. This was no easy task because we didn't have any of the original cans of stain to match, and the floors had yellowed over the years. When all the work was done, the new floor, sanded area, and buffed areas, all blended together beautifully. We have had friends come over and marvel at how seamless the floors appear. Watching Adrian and his sons work together is a real pleasure. They work as a team and each of them know exactly what needs to be done to assure the final product is perfect. By time they left there was very little for us to do except enjoy our new floors.

I would highly recommend Adrian and his team! A+++ I was on a tight schedule to get my condo listed for sale and the floors needed a lot of work. Adrian was on time each day and did an incredible job with his attention to detail on refinishing my entire condo in a timely manner. The quality of work was extremely high and I already have him booked for another job! He was great to work with - explaining everything to me, walking through my options (including providing multiple stains for me to choose from) and patiently answered all my questions. M Craft Company came to the rescue when I had a brief window of time to have my floors refinished between closing on a condo and moving in. The floors were in pretty rough shape to begin with; there were heavy traffic patterns worn through the finish, and I?m guessing that the previous owners? dog and small children took a toll as well. My realtor passed on a recommendation for Adrian at M Craft, who had done a good job for another of his clients. Adrian gave me a very fair price and was able to fit me into his schedule in the time available, and his team was able to get the job done efficiently, professionally, and carefully, including removing the refrigerator and stove and several closet organizers in order to get at every possible corner of the floors. I was able to see the work in progress between the 2nd and 3rd coats and knew then that I?d made the right decision ? it already looked like an entirely different floor and made a huge positive change in the appearance of the condo overall. Adrian was very responsive to my concerns throughout the process and also gave me good, clear advice about protecting the floors during and after the move-in. I?m very pleased with the work and wouldn?t hesitate to recommend Adrian and M Craft.

We just closed on a duplex down, and we were interested in getting our hardwood floors refinished before we moved in. Approximately, 2-mos prior to closing, we did a search for a flooring company - we had heard that it's best to set up/contract with a company at least 6-8 wks before you wanted the work done. I found M Craft through Angie's List, and I was very thorough in reading through ALL of the reviews of providers with an A rating (I'm very picky about service and quality). M Craft's reviews blew everyone else out of the water, so we contacted him. From the moment we contacted him, Adrian was very professional, courteous, and honest. My husband met Adrian for a walk-through for an estimate with our real estate agent and the seller's real estate agent, and everyone commented on how professional and knowledgeable Adrian was regarding flooring. Based on the type of floors we have (Brazilian Cherry), Adrian gave us several options with his recommendation on which option would be best. We ended up going with his recommendation (high-traffic, bona traffic HD -- water-based finished; 3 coats) because we felt that it would be the most durable and best value for the money that we're spending. He gave us a reasonable quote (I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. You want quality, you can't expect that from the cheapest company out there). Adrian and his team arrived promptly on the day/time that was agreed upon. Since we haven't moved in yet, we met them, gave them keys to the house, and let them do their job for the next 3-days. We checked in with them every day by text, and Adrian would give us updates with explicit instructions (it's ok to walk on the floors, but don't drip any water or don't walk on the floors - they're still drying). He and his team finished on-time -- they were very efficient; he runs a tight ship! When we arrived on the last night to take a look at the floors, we were completely blown away by our beautiful floors. The color is much better, finish is much better, and just feels great on the feet. We had some other contractors in the house, and they all asked for Adrian's contact info for referrals to their other clients because of his high-quality work. Adrian also sticks to his quote - he did not throw any additional costs or hidden fees in his quote. We paid what we were quoted. We are very happy and more than satisfied with M Craft. I will definitely be calling Adrian again if we ever need any other work done (maybe our stairs at some point). We're happy to recommend and refer them to anyone!!

Adrian and his sons were a pleasure to work with. From the time Adrian first visited my house to give a quote on the project, to the day they finished the job, Adrian and his sons were professional, respectful, considerate, worked hard, and paid attention to details. With my husband out of town, they helped me move items that I was unable to move on my own. They arrived when they were expected, and they coordinated with my schedule. They cleaned up each day, explained the process carefully, and were patient as I made decisions. Most importantly, they took their time and completed quality work. Before Adrian left, he gave me tips on doing the finish work I was going to do and recommended products that would help me complete it in a quality way. I took his advice and couldn't be more pleased with the work I completed as well. I would use M Craft Company again and highly recommend them to others.

From the beginning, Adrian was a pleasure to work with. I first called him after we purchased our home and asked if he could perform the job before we moved in. Although he was already quite busy, he made a point of fitting our job in when it worked best for us, given the other work that was being performed in the house over the same time frame. Specifically, he was gracious about coordinating his work around the work our painter was doing, so as to do the floors before the baseboards were painted (to avoid scuffing) but long enough after the walls had had a chance to dry (to avoid dust getting caught in wet paint). From a scheduling perspective, he was very conscientious and dependable. When it came time for Adrian and his crew to perform the work, they were all punctual (arriving a few minutes early), professional, efficient, and helpful. His son helped me move some of the heavier furniture off the floors, and Adrian was patient while I selected the stain I wanted him to apply. He was also sensitive to my desire to use a sealant that was pet- and kid-friendly, and he knew immediately which product to suggest given our concerns. The work was done quickly and exceptionally well. The floors look absolutely beautiful, and I will only use him when I have the stairs and upstairs flooring refinished. He is a gem, and I give him an A+++!

This winter I had severe ice damming on my roof causing leaking inside my house to the extent that it went between my kitchen ceiling and my hardwood floor in the living room. This caused buckling of my hardwood floor. I had two estimates in April and both said that the type of hardwood in my living room is no longer produced and that the entire floor would need to be replaced. The buckling was too severe to just sand down. Adrian's estimate was actually higher than the other guy, but I had a better feeling about Adrian. I felt more comfortable with him and that he was explaining everything better to me (and he was nice to my dog). And because I have a dog, Adrian worked with me to determine a time when we would be out of the house. He brought the wood over to my house a week ahead of time so that it could become accustomed to the environment in my house. He even brought subfloor material over in case that needed to be replaced as well (and this was on a Sunday). It turns out the best weekend for me was Memorial Day weekend and he was ok with that. Sooo, after removing the furniture and the rug in my living room and looking at the floor again the day it was to be torn out, it didn't look as bad as before. In the 2 months since the estimate, the floor had dried out and the buckling had decreased. So, even after having all the wood and subfloor material in my house, Adrian discussed with me the option of just refinishing the floor instead of replacing it. So he sanded it a bit to let me know how it would look and we made the decision to just refinish. Then Adrian and his crew just took the wood right back out of my house with no complaints. I respect the fact that he agreed that the floor could just be refinished even though he would not make as much money on just the refinishing project. And I left him the key to my house and felt comfortable with that. I went out of town and 3 days later he texted me that all was completed. The floor looks great and all went well.

Fantastic job!!! We contacted Adrian at the beginning of May and he responded that day. He came out and discussed the job with me. He looked everything over, did measurements and then sent an email with the cost after he had figured it out. We knew we had to wait until the middle of June to have the work done and Adrian was very willing to work with us on our best dates for our project. We had to fit it in after our adult children were moving out, new carpeting arriving, and wall painting to be done. He asked us about the daily time frame we wanted him working at our house. We were willing to have his crew and him work as many hours a day as they thought they'd be productive. This shortened the time frame for the total project and helped him avoid rush hour traffic. The men introduced themselves to us and were extremely courtious at all times. It was a joy having them in the house. The first day I left when they were almost ready to start removing the finish. He had asked me to empty out the refrigerator later so they could move the fridge and by the time I returned he had already taken care of the job. That's the way he worked during the week with us. If there was something to be done, he did it. He noticed two boards that had come slightly loose going into a room with carpet and asked if we'd like them replaced with one board. He replaced them with the same white oak as the rest of the flooring, and secured it so it wouldn't become loose again. During this time we had a continuing problem with a toilet (the plumber was coming after the floors were finished) and when he noticed it had gotten worse, he turned off the water which helped the water to not pool on the floor. Now on to the actual work... First they carefully prepared the space. The rooms that had carpet had plastic put up at every opening. The plastic was held down with tape that would easily be removed later. The chandeliers were tied high to protect our property and so that no one would bump into them. When he learned that we were replacing the carpet, he politely asked if we would like him to cut a couple of inches of carpet out so that he could finish all of the wood edges even better. Of course, we said yes! He not only removed the carpeting but he also removed the carpet tack strips that could have caused problems for us if we had walked on them. They used a machine for the large areas of the floor. The dust collecting machine was fantastic. There wasn't any noticeable dust. All of the edges, including the corners, were hand sanded. Even with that hand sanding there wasn't dust! It was all collected and they changed bags outside so no additional dust was found indoors. The stairs took quite awhile since so much hand work had to be done. Sometimes there were multiple, industrious men working different areas of the stairs. The first day, I had to go out again so I asked Adrian to lock the front door and exit through the garage. He not only locked it up, he called my cell to let me know they had left and everything was locked! He pays such attention to detail in everything he does! After the sanding was complete, they wiped down all of the walls with a duster to collect any possible dust that might have escaped into the air. The process of staining and finishing was interesting. Adrian discussed all of it prior to anything happening. At the end of that day, he stained and finished three sections under where the refrigerator usually was kept. By viewing these three stains that we had chosen, we were able to make an informed decision about which one suited us the best. Fortunately, my husband and I both agreed on which stain as soon as we saw them. We texted him that evening and he texted in response that he had received our text and would bring that particular stain in the morning. Knowing him, if we hadn't used texting, he would have used the phone. The next day they sanded down the sampled areas and they finished the stairs. Adrian finished the stair treads and replaced the molding under the treads. His finished product was better than our original molding. Wow! Afterwards they prepared for staining. They stained and when the stain was ready they began to put on the finish. Prior to ever starting the project, Adrian gave us choices for the finish and gave us his opinion of which he would recommend if price wasn't a concern. He had alternative ideas if the price had been too much. We went with his original recommendation. That evening we walked on the floors with our socks as he suggested. The next day we both were gone while they finished the project. They buffed the floor before putting the last layer of finish down. When he was done, they finished packing the truck and left. He suggested a minimum amount of time to refrain from walking on the floors and another time an hour later that was even a better time to wait. We waited the little bit longer time before walking on the floor. When we walked in to see the finished product, we were extremely pleased. Everything looked excellent! Adrian was a fantastic person to have work for us, always pleasant, courteous, and easy to have around. His employees were the same! Of course, we would use him again and recommend him to everyone. An extremely professional job from start to finish!!!

I was very hesitant because of the dust and animal hair (not to mention the disruption to my life!) - but my floors have needed this for nearly 20 years. I got tired of watching the bare wood surfaces growing larger and larger, then two simultaneous things happened - my vacation plans fell through, and my daughter was going to be gone for over two weeks, so I decided to take the plunge and, if I could schedule something during that time, I would just do it! I called three places for estimates. Adrian was the only one to (1) return the call and (2) look at the floors prior to quoting. One company never has returned the call, the other one 'called in' an estimate. I figured that was worth the paper it was written on! Adrian showed up both for the estimate and the job exactly when he said, was very professional and thorough in his performance, and went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule. I would absolutely use him again! I am SO happy with my floors!!! :)

This was the best contractor I have ever used. He came highly recommended from our neighbor and his craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. There were parts of the project where he could have taken short cuts, but he always took extra time to do it the right way. There were days where he worked 12-13 hour shifts to ensure we did not have to stay in a hotel. And he was extremely kind and fun with my kids. Just an amazing overall experience and I tell everyone I know to use him and his family business.

The floors in our house looked like a basketball court and Adrian and his crew sanded them and stained them a lovely chocolate color to make them look more natural. They were fast, clean and courteous. The end result is beautiful! Adrian is very responsive, stayed within budget and completed the job sooner than planned. We will recommend them to our friends and if we ever have a need again, we will use there services!!

Adrian and his team did a great and thorough job with the floors in my condo. The floors had been pretty well worn by the previous owners and now they look fantastic. They went above and beyond to meet my short schedule, even when I changed the scope slightly to include the quarter rounds and even came back to move the kitchen island back into place after the floors were dry. Adrian was really patient and helpful with my question and gave me clear direction about how to clean and maintain my floors as they were curing and beyond.

Adrian was fantastic from the beginning!! He was incredibly communicative and prompt. He arrived when he scheduled a consult and made every effort to accommodate our schedules. Knowing we were on a tight timeframe with purchasing our first home and needing to have the floors refinished before moving in, he started work at 7am the following morning after providing a quote the evening before! He came at 4am several mornings to finish the project and did and incredible job!! His work was impeccable, priced competitively and he was very thorough. He is obviously a craftsman who cares about his work! He's also just an honest guy. My husband left his wallet at the house one night (we weren't yet living there) and Adrian told us he found it on the kedge and stuck it in a good hiding spot in the kitchen. He was truly a pleasure to work with and we will for sure call him back if we decide to do our kitchen floors!!

I obtained several quotes from this and other highly rated companies. M Craft's came in the mid-range. After speaking to Adrian, the business owner, and hearing him discuss the varieties of Northern Red Oak, identify they type of wood and cut I was trying to match, and describe how he would go about the work, I had the positive feeling that he was a knowledgeable, honest, and reliable, individual, and that he would be detail-oriented, as well. The work was carried out in a very clean and neat manner. A plastic sheet wall was set up, and dust containment equipment was used. Adrian's vast arsenal of tools, as well as his fine vehicle, looked clean and well maintained. Low odor products were used. Cleanup was conducted at the end of each day, and all materials and equipment were neatly stacked, and out of the way, while they were gone. During the project, Adrian always kept me informed of when he would be arriving, and leaving. The work was done mostly by him and his sons; and they always showed up on time, displaying a good disposition, and conducted themselves in a respectful and professional manner. Adrian was careful to follow the many rules of my condo association, and even went above and beyond the call of duty in making all the staff in my building also feel respected and appreciated for their assistance. Adrian had a good sense of aesthetics and a keen eye for detail. His input helped me chose a floor stain and baseboard trim I was truly happy with. And he paid special close attention to details that were important to me, such as threshold transitions --between marble and wood, and carpet and wood. He created radial edges where baseboards met door casings, expertly mitered, coped, and spliced baseboards; and he carefully cropped the bottoms of metal door frames and casings, so that they would appear to stand over the new floor, as I requested, rather having the new floor pared around them. He also shared tips on follow-up floor maintenance, and post-installation finishing of my new baseboards. My new floors look truly fantastic! The stain color Adrian suggested brings out the vibrancy of the wood grain, and it indeed brightens up the entire room, as he predicted. Aside from the high quality of his craftsmanship, I appreciate that he was man of his word, honoring everything he promised till the very end, and responding promptly when the need arose. It was a pleasure to work with Adrian, and his two very fine sons. I will definitely hire him again in the future!

It went excellently. They were terrific, they showed up on time. They had amazing eqipment. They were clean and left no dust like we thought there may be. They did a beautiful job. They showed us a sample of color to choose from and came back within the next couple days and put another coat on along with 4 coats of polyurethane. They were great to work with. I highly recommend this company.
