KITCHEN DOCTORS LTD

After working with Kitchen Doctors for several weeks on the design, we settled on a proposed design that appeared to meet our needs and wants. After submitting a $9,000 deposit for cabinets, we double-checked the measurements, and discovered that the design was badly flawed; a counter top overlapped a doorway, a cabinet overlapped a window frame and so on. Meanwhile, Kitchen Doctors raised the estimate by over $3,000.00. Since this was not the first poor design we received from Kitchen Doctors, our confidence in this company was badly shaken. And the price point was no longer attractive. When we asked for the deposit to be returned (no contract had been presented or signed), the owner told us that he would not return it. We are still out $9,000 with nothing to show for it. Be wary of this business!

They started the work in November and it was supposed to be done by Christmas, so we could have the holidays here. They got the work 70 percent done so we could at least use the kitchen, but they did not get completely done until March. The kitchen does look nice, but it just took them way longer than it should have and cost way more. They gave them a down payment to get the bathroom done by Christmas, too. They spent a couple of days tearing it apart and took off. They didn't complete the bathroom 'til March.
