Tom, the owner, is incredibly honest and ethical in his business dealings. He had great communication skills. It is always a pleasure to work with him. He provides valuable input without feeling pressured. His sister, Noreen, who mans the phone and office is also very competent and a pleasure to speak to.

They arrived on time and walked into my new remodeled basement with brand new floors without any consideration. Walked in without any booties like all the other pros that have worked in my house. Their shoes were muddy and left tracks all over the floor. You would think with that many years in service this would be one of the first best practices of professionalism. They didn't bother doing any measurements of the blinds that I have ordered and assumed the consumer measurements were precise. My measurements were off so they pretty much drilled a bunch of holes in to my new window trim and then said it wasn't going to work. They left a couple extra screws in the trim and were not able to finish the job. Still collected their $90 bucks for unfinished job and ruined my new window trim. Cracks and scratches from their drills. They basically put down the product I have ordered saying their blinds are much better. Whatever the case, that is not what a consumer wants to hear. I received no receipt of payment as well. It was just night and day from other pros I have hired. Very disappointed with service and especially the quality of work and professionalism.

Tom was very punctual and came twice to show me a couple of options for the windows in our house. The good: They were always on time, answered all my messages, they notified me when the blinds arrived and set up an appointment for installation. Need Improvement: We asked if they can take the old blinds when they install the new ones, they said yes, but left them in my living room. The blinds that we ordered took more than three weeks to arrive since the fabric was out of stock. The blinds that we picked (Silhouette from Hunter Douglas) look great during the day but at night did not provide the privacy that we wanted, I found afterwards a product from the same brand that is exactly what I want (Silhouette Duolite) and when I asked Tom about it he said that the product that I mentioned does not come wide enough. More guidance and specifics on the products will help to get a better experience as customer, they are the experts.

We contacted Tom based on previous reviews. We wanted room darkening blinds. Tom then gave me suggestions. We selected top down bottom up cordless blinds. After two weeks, the blinds were installed. They looked great, but light was still coming in on the sides of the blinds. I asked Tom for a solution to this issue. He came out again and we discussed options to solving this problem. A couple of weeks later Tom sent his drapery guy out to solve the problem. The team was very responsive and did a great job. We are very happy and would highly recommend them.

Tom quoted the price of the job after doing all the measurements during the third week of may 2016. Both He and his son(Joseph) returned with the completed merchandise two weeks later on June 4th,2016. They were punctual in arrival and did an excellent job in installing the window treatments. I will use them again when I am ready to have the rest of my windows done.

It was great! The initial consultation was about an hour - I was interested in putting honeycomb shades in a kitchen area and wood blinds in 3 bedrooms. Tom had a good selection of products to choose from and offered helpful insights during the decision-making. I also decided on Hunter Douglas roman shades for another bedroom. Again, Tom's perspective was very helpful. The blinds all came in about 2 weeks later, we scheduled installation, he arrived on time, installation took about an hour and a half. They all look great! I highly recommend Joseph's Draperies for window treatments.

They did a very professional job at a reasonable price, compared to other companies. The installation was very quick, they came earlier than I expected and cleaned up after themselves. They were very meticulous and I am very happy with the results.

Tom was a total professional. His installers did an amazing job. They cleaned up & took away all trash, plus his prices were better than 2 other competitors.

Went great! Low prices, good service. Installed on Sunday.
