+ -1 moreExpensive. But the shades, so far, have been great. Installation was easy and smooth. She came out to do custom measuring and color advice. The price was a bit of a pill to swallow, but we'll have these and get good use out of them for years. Glad to have spent the money for quality.
Description of Work: Our home had pull down shades that were falling apart, yellowed and cracking. They installed Hunter Douglass Duette shades with various features. Higher end materials with some special features. For example, our living room has a large picture window that allows people to see in. We wanted three features (shade down with the view blocked, shade down from the bottom to part way up, and another shade that allowed for partial light). In the baby room, we got full light blocking shades, and in our bedroom only partial light-blocking, but both of these allowed you to lower the shade from top down, allowing the bottom the be blocked.

+ -1 moreI go to Licht because they provide good service, and have knowledgeable people who I can count on to help me get what I need. On this project, I had a very strange problem. I ordered paint for a very large ceiling, and it turns out that they had two different formulas for my color. Because of this I ended up putting several extra coats of paint on the ceiling, which cost me about a week of time on my remodel. To their credit, the manager did everything he could to make this right, and ended up replacing about 10 gallons of paint at no cost to me. This is the first time I've ever had a problem with anything I've bought at Lichts, and although I would prefer not to have had a problem, but it was nice to see how willing they were to do what they could to make it right.
Description of Work: I bought paint for my kitchen and family room.
