+ -1 moreAfter discovering that an opossum had met it's demise underneath our backyard deck, we consulted Angie's list and then called George (Don) Harvestine to do the job. He arrived in short order and went right to work, not being put off at all by the considerable odor as the animal had apparently been dead a few days.. Don seemed very knowledgeable about wildlife, took care of things quickly, and presented us with a very fair bill. Believe me, we were happy to pay it and have the matter taken care of. Don performs a very much needed service and I would not hesitate to call him again!
Description of Work: Mr. Harvestine removed a dead opossum from beneath our deck.

+ -1 more2 weeks and 10 skunks (plus one possum) later I was skunk free. None of the skunks sprayed so we didn't have that to deal with either. Don is a very nice guy and was out every day to reset the traps. He was also very informative and talked candidly with both me and my wife about what he was doing and what he thought might be going on. He comes with my seal of approval for whatever that's worth.
Description of Work: On Monday 10/22/2012 I saw a skunk in the front yard at around 6 AM. Thought about buying a trap and getting rid of it on my own but decided against that. Found Don Harvestine on A-list and called him at 9 AM. He was at my house at 11 AM and set three traps.

Description of Work: We live on a small lake, and Don (George Harvestine) has been our go-to guy for over 15 years to remove beavers. I've also used him for skunk and others have for squirrels and other critters in attics, etc. He is always prompt, exceptionally knowledgeable and more than fair in his pricing. Performance-based pricing, and he ALWAYS gets rid of what's troubling you!

+ -1 moreGeorge investigated the area around my home and found all possible entries for the animal. George knew right away what type of trap to set. George then placed traps and immediately caught all the little critters. George continued placing traps until all critters were caught. George cleaned up any debris left over. George came every day to check the traps and immediately removed the critters. George is very knowledgeable and professional.
Description of Work: Investigate all possible entries, place traps and catch (humanely). Continue placing traps to ensure all pests have been caught.

Description of Work: State licensed nuisance animal control specialist. Also trains most of the other service providers. Excellent at removal of skunks, beavers and raccoons. Don is semi-retired, so his pricing is probably better than others, and his work is excellent. Takes his work very seriously and is very competent.
