Description of Work: Disappointed with quality of work. Disappointed with follow-up for problem with closet door - after a few months door fell off track. Finishes would not come out to take a look. They claimed that problem was due to a "bad install". Subsequent repair showed a cracked hinge assembly - which almost certainly happened when Finishes removed and re-installed door. They (Finishes) spent a whole day working with this one door (according to Pat, the owner). At the time of the work, no one mentioned any problems with this door. The closet door is very heavy and hard to work with, but Finishes should have contacted me and admitted that they would not be able to work with it. |Additionally, they started late (by one day) which I feel contributed to a "rushed" job. There were a few other minor problems with the work that suggested carelessness. |They were the highest cost of the estimates we received by $2,000. We expected better quality and support, since we have used them before with complete satisfaction; but now we feel that quality and professionalism has slipped. |

Description of Work: They installed carpet in one room.

Description of Work: Finishes, Inc., a local family-owned business for about 20 years, had installed inlaid linoleum in two of our bahtrooms about 18 years ago. The toilet began leaking in the larger bath, soaking into the floor. After having a new seal installed in the toilet, we knew we had to tear out and get a new floor, as we are allergic to mold and were having breathing problems. Because we were very happy with what Finishes, Inc. had done previously, we returned to the store. Beverly was very helpful in making suggestions and scheduled a visit for measuring. When we gave the go-ahead for new ceramic tile, they were very helpful, even arranging rescheduling with someone else to facilitate our health problem.
