The project was complete in a timely fashion and at a great price compared to other quotes we received. The materials used were the industries finest after researching the products on the web. Excellent! Everlast Exteriors replaced our roof and siding after significant hail damage. Mike and his team were professional, highly responsive to questions, and overall fantastic to work with. Mike was at my home the evening I called him to inquire about the work I was interested in having done and moved very quickly to get the process started. Our house looks fantastic and the work done during the installation is beautiful and my house looks brand new! I would recommend them for any work on your home.

My wife and I have been homeowners for nearly 15 years and had never had damage to either of our homes. We took significant hail damage over Memorial Day weekend and started our crash course to the process of remediation. After our first contractor completely disappeared on us after the initial insurance inspection, we were left searching for someone to assist. We found Mike and his crew at Everlast Exteriors of Illinois and though he came into our process late in the game, he was able to assess and take control of the situation. We were being low-balled by the insurer and aggressively pushed to end our claim. Mike and his teams’ expertise and ability to really assess not only the damage that was sustained but set in place a strategy of attack to get the insurer to recognize what needed to be done was impressive. Mike was ALWAYS on top of things, responded immediately to any questions we had, and not only made our home whole again with no out-of-pocket expenses but we actually upgraded the home and it looks even better than it did beforehand. Right from the offset Mike laid out in front of us how the whole process was going to play out and he was right on the money with that assessment. This took a considerable amount of stress out of the equation, so if someone were to ever ask me for a local contractor you can trust and rely on, Mike and Everlast would be the first words I spoke. It wasn’t until his assistance were we truly in good hands.

My husband and I had a bad experience with this company and Mike specifically. We are currently looking for siding on our home and contacted Mike for a quote. During our appointment Mike gave us a long presentation and showed us a few very small samples of color. He was very pushy about his reviews online but when we asked him for references of homes they've worked on he said that he could not provide them because he did not want us bothering their previous customers. All of the other companies we've contacted were more than happy and willing to provide references so that we could see their work and also get a better idea of what the colors looked like in person (rather than selecting them from a small square in a brochure). Once the presentation was over Mike did not provide us with a written estimate of the costs of everything and instead wrote down a number and slid it across the table. Once we said that it was much higher than the other companies he asked how much we were quoted for and once we told him he lowered the price to fall below the others. He wanted to write up a contract right then and there but my husband and I wanted to do more research since it's a huge investment for us. We scheduled a follow up appointment to finalize everything and Mike did provide one reference for us to look at. My husband and I were still weary that he wouldn't provide any other references and the fact that he was very persistent about reading his reviews but there were very few pictures of their work. My husband told him that in order for us to proceed we wanted the references before doing so. Mike's response to us via text message was very unprofessional and he stated that we were going back and forth too much and that all the reviews were online for us to look at. He said we were too difficult to work with and that he was taking a pass on our job. He stated that we had given him too short of notice for the references but we told him that we wanted them on the very first appointment. As a professional siding company it shouldn't be this hard to see the work they've done especially if it's quality work that they are proud of. Mike was only willing to show us 1 project and insisted that we just read his reviews. My husband and I were just not satisfied with this and requested more references. Mike then made the decision to drop us as clients because he said we were "too needy". Mike stated that his normal customers sign a contract on the first day with him and was upset that we had to reschedule one of our appointments 2 weeks later. Mike provided very poor customer service and did not respect our needs as customers investing in a big purchase.

We had our windows installed. The job was done well but, 2 windows were made incorrectly. We contacted him immediately and he said he would re order them. It has been 2 months now, and we cant get him to give us an answer. They said someone would call to give us the date for the windows and we have heard nothing.

I cancelled the sales agreement, and Mike still has not refunded the deposit after 3 weeks. Now I am being charged interest on my credit card. It is extremely frustrating that this company is trying to hold on to the money that's that theirs.

What stood out to me about them is their price. They gave us a good price. Everything was good with them. Their employees were respectful of it being so cold outside and they cleaned up after themselves very well. They did the whole house in 2 days.

They were great; I would recommend them to anybody. The guys were very conscientious and timely. They were here when it was hot outside and just continued working the whole time. They did not bother me at all; they cleaned up after themselves. Their prices were in the middle compared to the other quotes that I got.
