I just had a new addition added to my home. The A/C was not working and my General Contractor was out of business. It turned out to be a simple fix, but the gentleman who came out was very professional. He corrected the issue and pointed out other issues with the A/C system, then recommended I call the original A/C person directly to fix due to cost. I was able to contact the original A/C contractor and the other issues were eventually corrected without cost. They have flat rate pricing which may be a benefit or a detriment depending on the job. Paid a bit more in this situation, but thought it was worth it.

My A/C broke down a couple of months ago and GFI came in and added freon. The freon lasted a couple of months and I came home to a very hot home. I have used GFI for 10 years to do check ups but when my A/C went out I felt I needed to talk to other companies just to see what was available. I called 4 companies and pricing was within a few dollars different but I had to use who I was comfortable with. From Brian coming in and giving me an estimate to Roy and DJ doing the installation and answering my questions it was a smooth procedure. I ended up using GFI because they are a customer service oriented company. I would definitely refer them to friends and family.

Deciding to go ahead with the system, installation date was set. Brian and Bob arrived exactly at 9:00 am, as scheduled, to remove the old units and to install the new furnace and air conditioner. The installation was complete at 3 pm. They worked efficiently, quickly. Tarps were laid on the entrance hallway. All refuse, including the old furnace and the A/C unit, was picked up and hauled away. The instructions for operation and maintenance were explained in detail. Since the installation was done in below freezing temperatures in February, Brian and Bob made sure that the doors were closed to maintain the temperature in the house while installation was done. Because they worked efficiently and quickly, we were never uncomfortable. The heating system works great! And they are scheduled to come back as soon as the temperature outside reaches 65 degrees to regulate the A/C unit.

Our furnace went out during the night. We called Energy Services the following morning and a representative first walked us through a diagnostic check over the phone, including the reset switch, checking the thermostat and reading off a pattern of red indicator lights on the furnace. He quoted a price for the service call (plus whatever the parts would cost to fix the problem, which he could not quote ahead of time, obviously) and said he would show up in about two hours. The service technician came when promised and was very courteous. He put coverings over his shoes whenever he had to go outside to his truck. He finished up in about 45 minutes. The furnace works fine now. The cost was reasonable. We had a $15 off coupon, but he had already applied it to our bill without being asked.

Service provided was very good. Marc was the service technician. He provided a lot of information, was on time, very professional, and very respectful to female homeowner. One of our electronic filters--which is very expensive to replace--no longer works. He recommended a cheaper, alternative filter, and made a second visit to install the filters early one morning because he lives close by. One of our furnaces has interior rust. He did not push replacing the unit, and recommended waiting until no longer works if like.

Estimate over phone was accurate. Technician was on time and performed work efficiently.

The workmen are very good. They know their stuff. They arrived on time, did the work and cleaned everything up. I also use this company for routine maintenance and they are very thorough.

I have used them for years. They always return my calls. It is easy to schedule with them and they do the work in a reasonable amount of time. They are very responsive during emergencies and they always come when they are supposed to. I would recommend them to others.

At first, they said they couldn't send a tech out until the next day. When we said we'd call around and find another company, they sent somebody out within the hour. The technician was very polite and professional. He explained the problem and gave us several options. He pointed out unsafe condition of heat exchange and provided good documentation.

When installing a new furnace - the best advice is to get a good brand and then choose a good installer. The best furnace is no better than the worst if it's installed improperly. Sheri D'Hansel was the rep who quoted the job. She was prompt and professional. Overall, she convinced us that her company would do a good job on the install and would stand behind their work afterwards. We picked Energy Services for a few reasons. First they are locally owned. Second they dealt the Carrier brand (one of the better brands). Finally, they were nearly $400 cheaper than a competitor (who offered the exact same brand and model). Overall, they were not the cheapest quote we received, but we felt the price was fair. The two installers were on time and respected our finished basement (with drop-cloths). They were done in a little over 4 hours. The installation is clean and tight. Afterward they thoroughly went over operations and asked twice if I had questions.

Service was on time. He did a thorough job of cleaning the furnace and water heater. He was also very informative and answered all of my questions.

Met with the sales associate on agreed date and time, received a thorough explanation of various options, she was knowledgeable and seemed genuine in recommending appropriate products. The installers arrived on time and completed the work in one day. They explained the work that they performed and answered any questions we had. We were very happy with their service and we also committed to their annual service plan.

The salesperson, Greg, and installers, Scott and Dan were very professional. They did a nice job determining and installing a furnace that best met my needs.

Purchased maintenance agreement to have them service our heater and air conditioner. The technician who serviced our A/C last spring did a very professional job, was very clean, and made some suggestions to help lower our cooling bills. I had forgotten about purchasing this agreement, and they called me to come service the heater this winter. Again, the technician was very professional, very clean, and very thorough. Suggested I replace the humidifier since it was very old, very corrupt, and had been installed incorrectly. Left me a bid for that work.

ENERGY SERVICE STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT AND FRIENDLY. THEY WERE IN THE BUSY SEASON BUT ABLE TO WORK ME IN, IN REASONABLE TIME FRAME. THE PRICES WERE GREAT. THE SERVICE WAS WONDERFUL.

DETAIL ORIENTED. GOT THE JOB DONE QUICKLY AND HAD EXCELLENT FOLLOW UP.
