These guys are pros. Their proposal was very professional and thought out, and their ability to answer questions about furnace model options and installation was great. They were always available for questions and returned calls promptly. They assigned two verterans to our install, and it was done in about 4 hours. They cleaned up after themselves and you wouldn't even have known they were in the house. We love the new furnace and have peace of mind that it was installed properly. We're new to the area, and will also be using them for maintenance and other needs as they arise.

The initial phone call to GFI to service my furnace was handled very efficiently. I made an appt for them to come out later in the week to clean and service my furnace and humidifier. Neil arrived on time and, without asking, immediately donned booties for his shoes and went to work. As he worked, he explained everything he was doing and why. I also had several questions to ask and he was able to answer them and then give more in-depth information about the subject. I signed up for them to come out in the spring to service the a/c (preventative maintenance program). The $193 included the service to the furnace done on this visit, service for the a/c to be done in the spring, and the replacement of the water panel for the whole house humidifier.

Outstanding from the initial contact with them. I would suggest that anyone looking for heating/cooling service give them a call. You won't be sorry.

I've had them install air conditioners and furnaces. I did have a couple issues when things went wrong but that will happen with any company you've used that long. They've always stood behind their work and made things right.

They are fantastic. I would say they are responsive. They remember you are a customer and they are fantastic. Their rates are always right there, never high nor low. They have qualified technicians. It is the same technicians. It is nice when I call one year and get the same guy the next. That is very much appreciated. When you make an appointment with them, they call and remind you ahead of time that they have an appointment. They call the day of and tell you they are on their way out and make sure that is OK. They try hard to do the best they can.

I love them. They are great. They are very prompt. They are very clean. If there is a problem they fix it right away. They are very knowledgeable.

They are a good company. I have been happy because of the contract. They call to remind you about checkups so everything is well maintained. The staff is very friendly. When I have to talk to someone in the office they are very amenable.

Energy Services was the last quote I received for replacing our quickly dying A/C and our furnace. Although they were the most expensive, I felt the most comfortable with their ability to make our system as efficient as possible without ripping the house apart to re-do ducts. I signed a contract with them on Friday and they were able to schedule the install for Tuesday. The men came promptly on Tuesday morning and were polite and efficient. They were done by 4:30pm and cleaned up after themselves. The system works great, and the best part is that my upstairs is no longer cooking compared to downstairs. I was very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to friends.

What can I say? Of course we tried the a/c on the first miserable day of the year and it didn't work. GFI came out the next day. They made our old beat up a/c unit work for about $100 instead of selling us a new unit for $thousands (to people who didn't know enough to check for vegetation blocking the fan). We've used them before for our a/c (change the filter more often) and furnace (cleaned, 10 years belong its life expectancy but hey, it works). These are good guys.

The furnace inspector arrived at 9:30 in the morning. I was told he would be there between 8 and 12 and I was called about 10 to 15 minutes before he arrived. He checked the furnace thoroughly and suggested I use a less efficient filter to help the air flow in the blower. I was very pleased with the service and would use this company again.

Everything has been great. Their prices are reasonable, and I have been very happy with their work. They come on time, do what they are supposed to, and I will continue to use them.

I called aroudn 8 am and needed someone out that day. My system was not cooling and I was concerned. They fit me into their sched for that same day between 3-5pm--I requested this time due to my midnight work shift/sleeping during the day. Chris called me at about 3 pm and was there at 3:17pm. He was friendly and curteous and used those boot cover things all the time while in the house--I liked that. He was very thorough and checked on all of the components of the HVAC. He wasn't pushy in trying to sell me extra stuff, however, he did explain what those extra services did and how they would benifit me and my home. I asked him about being NATE certified and he mentioned that he was going to be getting this soon. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service I received. I know the amount I paid is very similar to other companies, however, I feel what I received in terms of overall service is worth it. I will use this company in the future and will tell others about them.

Energy Services arrived on time in the morning to start the service. Prior to the work starting I wanted to discuss the location of the intake/exhaust pvc pipes for the furnace. The only aspect of this job I wasn't keen on was they'd be drilling 2 more holes through the house for the pvc pipes for the furnace. In fact this was the only thing about the high efficiency furnace I wasn't that keen on. I also figured we'd have to frame around the new pvc piping when we finish our basement. However, after going through several options with Energy Services and looking at various locations they could come out of the house, I was very pleased with where we were able to finally come out of the house. It ended up in a very discreat location by the ac unit next to other pipes (sump) coming out of the house. They were also able to fit it into a tight spot. Nothing obvious at all. Inside, they were very creative on how to run the pipes. In fact, once they were done, the pipes were all hidden in the floor joists and I won't have to frame around them at all. Nothing in the way and I couldn't have picked a better location for them. I'm very satisfied with the end result.

Energy Services did a great job for me but I felt I was being overcharged. They were very responsive and punctual. I tried to hire someone else but he never returned my calls. If I use them again I will ask more questions ahead of time.

I met the owner Bob Forty at a home show several years ago. I had always found his marketing intriguing - it had credibility and made you think he cared. I met Bob and I was very impressed. I signed up for their twice a year service for your furnace & A/C - where they come out, check and clean the A/C in the summer and the furnace in the winter. They did both services on their first visit. I was a little disappointed that they didn't make the two trips. But, if figured it was ok. The technical explained that it was the ideal temperature to do both services. Later, I had a problem with the furnace - it would not run. It turns out that condensation was running back from the exhaust and filling up in the inducer blower with with water. They came out and did some testing and found that the inducer was showing signs of failure. They replaced it under the parts only warranty - I do not recall the cost (approx $200 for labor). However, several weeks later I was having the same problem. I was able to drain it myself. That got me through until Spring. The next November, the furnace had a similar problem. They came out and serviced the furnace, finding nothing wrong, other than a potentially clogged drain. A week later we had the same problem. I decided to do more investigation and found that they had moved a pipe so that the water was not draining, but running back into the blower. I was able to fix it myself and have not had a problem since. When I called to tell them, they wanted to charge me for another service call. I tried explain the situation and that I actually wanted a refund. The service manager said he didn't understand what I was talking about... because he's never actually worked on that type of furnace. He said they weren't very popular and I should probably consider buying a new one. (This one was only 6 years old.) I tried to express my frustration that they charged me twice to fix a type of furnace that they probably had no business working on. His best solution was to suggest that spend a few thousand dollars for new furnace... "and oh, by the way," he adds "you probably need a new water heater, too." We had a complete failure to communicate. He seem to completely blow-off my frustration and showed no empathy. I had called several times to speak with the owner, Bob Forty. Each time I was referred to the same service manager. He offered no support. He only wanted to charge me more for things I didn't need. Sorry, Bob. I am not doing business with Energy Services ever again.

Energy Services installed the existing furnace in our house 22 years ago before we even owned the house. They have maintained it for the 16 years we have lived here and we have a maintenance contract with them. We knew we were at the point that we may need a new furnace soon if repair costs got too high. When this day's problem cropped up and I called to ask if a technician could call back and see what we could determine over the phone, David called back immediately, walked me through some steps, then came out within the hour. He determined the problem (a seized-up inducer motor), gave an estimate on the repair ($800 including the service call, with the maintenance contract 10% off price) and also at my request on two models of new high-efficiency Carrier furnaces including a new humidifier, better-quality air filter and thermostat. We decided to purchase, having done some research already on what we wanted. David took care of the sales details and the many questions we asked, then even got space heaters from their office to get us through the cold night. He called the company to make sure our new furnace was in stock and would be installed first thing in morning. He was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The next morning installers Jeremy and Scott called on their way, were on time, got right to work, cleaned the place up great (as technicians from Energy Services always do) and explained all the operation maintenance when finished. Although we sure don't like having to spend lots of money (no surprise though for a 22-year-old furnace) Energy Services made it as pleasant and painless as it could be.

I like that they send me a reminder by mail. The prices are fair. I have an old furnace and he keeps it running efficiently. They do sell furnaces and he honestly told me that I had a good furnace and that I did not need a new one. I was amazed at his honesty. The last time I called they were able to come to the house in an hours time.

The consultation went very well. The guy showed up on time and was very respectful. He knew the products well and asked us a lot of questions about what we needed, what the problems were with our home, and so forth. He did not go into as much depth as the other consultants we talked to did, but after doing some comparative estimates on similar units we felt that he had recommended a unit that was too big for our home. He was very flexible in terms of the ductwork; I was impressed with that. He said that adjustments to the ductwork could be done anytime during or after the installation.

I only do business with quality companies. I have used this company for 11 years now, and their technicians are on time, they do the work I ask of them, and they leave. I am having them come out again soon to install an Infinity Air Purifier for me also. They provide me with great service and kept my system in good working order for me.

Estimate for plumbing work was too high because no one came out to look first. The installer recognized plumbing work was not that complex and called supervisor and was approved to lower cost for plumbing work. I should have asked them for time & materials in the first place. They should offer that instead of just a high cost for work only described over the phone. The furnace man did a very complete and professional job. Explained all his work completely to me.

We recently moved into our new home, knowing the HVAC system was in serious disrepair. Unfortunately, the timing of its demise was less than ideal. We had already quoted a system through Energy Services and found their price to be fair. Not the cheapest system we could get, but enough additional features to consider. When the cost to repair was deemed more than it would be worth to fix, we scrambled to get a replacement installed. Energy Services went out of their way to have a whole new system installed the next day, which was a Saturday no less, at the original quoted price. We couldn't have asked for better service. The crew showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and were willing to spend as much time as I needed to review the install. While I'm sure we could have had a functional system for much less, we're very happy with the performance and features of the system we purchased. They could have easily tried to take advantage of the situation but did not. Super professional start to finish.
